Leonardo DiCaprio, Bruce Willis and Michael Jackson are among the A-list celebrities' names that appear in a trove of newly released documents relating to Virginia Giuffre's lawsuit against Jeffrey Epstein's former lover and accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.

Epstein had many high-profile connections, including former U.S. presidents, foreign prime ministers and Britain's Prince Andrew, as well as Hollywood stars, leading academics, people in the modeling and fashion industries and other public figures. Some of the names were previously known through other means despite having been withheld from the public eye in the lawsuit.

Many of the names belong to people who have not been accused of wrongdoing.

The celebrities who appear in the court docs, obtained by Fox News Digital, were mentioned by Giuffre and another alleged Epstein victim, Johanna Sjoberg

Here's a look at the celebrities mentioned in the 40 documents so far:

Naomi Campbell

In a deposition dated May 3, 2016, Virginia Giuffre described going on foreign trips with Maxwell and Epstein, including several trips to France. On one trip to southern France, Giuffre claimed she had sexual contact with Maxwell before attending a birthday party for supermodel Naomi Campbell.

"We were going to Naomi Campbell's birthday party," Giuffre clarified in her deposition. "[The sexual encounter] wasn't at the birthday party."

In 2019, Campbell explained that she did know Epstein and that she had been introduced to him through her ex-boyfriend, Flavio Briatore.

"What he's done is indefensible," Campbell said in a video uploaded to YouTube. "And when I heard what he had done, it sickened me to my stomach just like everybody else, because I've had my fair share of sexual predators, and thank God that I had good people around me that protected me from this. Right now, I stand with the victims. I can't – you know. They're scarred for life. For life."

Campbell was responding to photos of herself with Epstein saying, "I find it extraordinary that of all the hundreds of thousands of people that I've stood next to to take a picture at a public event, they've only chosen these few."

She later added, "The frightening conclusion here, is that if the negative action of your neighbor, colleague, or even an associate can somehow make you guilty too, simply by association, then we indeed live in very worrying times. This affects us all. It's wrong, it's unfair and it must be stopped."

A representative for Campbell did not respond to Fox News Digital's immediate request for comment.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Bruce Willis and Cameron Diaz

Jeffrey Epstein accuser Johanna Sjoberg spoke about Leonardo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett, Bruce Willis and Cameron Diaz during her deposition. All four celebrities were brought up during the same line of questioning and mostly in passing. None of them are accused of wrongdoing.

"I did not meet them, no," Sjoberg claimed when asked. "When I spoke about them, it was when I was massaging [Epstein], and he would get off – he would be on the phone a lot at that time, and one time he said, Oh, that was Leonardo, or, that was Cate Blanchett or Bruce Willis. That kind of thing."

Sjoberg noted that Epstein was "name-dropping" the celebrities and that she had not met any of them.

Later, she was also asked whether she had met Cameron Diaz – to which she responded, "No."

"Cameron never met Jeffrey Epstein, nor was she ever in the same place as him or had any association with him whatsoever, regardless of the fact he may or may not have mentioned her name or implied that he knew her," a representative for the actress told Fox News Digital in a statement.

Representatives for DiCaprio, Blanchett and Willis did not respond to Fox News Digital's immediate request for comment.

The Al-Nassr striker commented on the publication of the Portuguese media outlet 'A Bola', in which the ranking of the best players, according to the IFFHS, was released and although he did not use specific words, it is easy to understand that he was not happy with the results from the sarcastic laughing emojis he posted.

There is speculation that he may have been left out because he does not play in one of the best leagues, although Messi was included despite playing in the MLS. It is important to clarify that the U.S. league is three places above the Saudi Pro League in the list of best soccer leagues.

However, on the other hand, Messi did spent a sizeable portion of 2023 with Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 of France. PSG's league was ranked fifth as of December 31, 2022

Ronaldo closed 2023 as top scorer (in the calendar year), with 53 goals scored and 15 assists for Al-Nassr and Portugal, and he can still extend the streak on December 30 when the Riyadh-based side visits Al Taawon.

But he wasn't even ranked as the highest Portuguese player, as that title went to Manchester City's Bernardo Silva who operates on the right wing and in central midfield

The top 3 is made up of Erling Haaland (Manchester City), Kylian Mbappe (PSG) and Messi (PSG/Inter Miami). The Frenchman retained the same position as last year, while Messi dropped two positions and the Norwegian striker climbed from fifth to first

The other seven players in the ranking did not appear last year: Rodri (Manchester City), Jude Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund/Real Madrid), Kevin de Bruyne (Manchester City), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur/Bayern Munich), Silva (Manchester City), Vinicius Jr (Real Madrid) and Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan)

Gaston Glock, the inventor of the pistol bearing his name, died on Wednesday at age 94. Glock’s cause of death was not immediately clear. The Glock Company announced its founder’s death on its website, where it lauded Glock for revolutionizing the world of small arms, especially in the 1980s, when the ubiquitous pistol first hit the market. The semi-automatic handgun has since become the weapon of choice for armed forces, law enforcement officials, criminals and gun enthusiasts worldwide, with more than 50 Glock pistols in a variety of sizes, calibers and styles now on offer.

Glock, an Austrian engineer, founded his weapons manufacturing company in 1963 with little experience with guns at the time aside from his time as a conscript in Hitler’s Wehrmacht at the end of World War II, according to the New York Times.

He invented the Glock pistol in a metalworking shop in his garage, where he had been manufacturing knives and curtain rods.

A British teenager who stole 90 clips of the unreleased Grand Theft Auto 6 game as part of a hacking spree has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order.

Arion Kurtaj, 18, who is autistic, was on bail for hacking the software firm Nvidia and BT/EE and also in police protection at a Travelodge hotel when he continued his hacking and breached Rockstar Games, the company behind GTA, a court heard.

Despite having his laptop confiscated, Kurtaj, carried out his cyber attack using an Amazon Firestick, his hotel television and a mobile phone. He broke into the company’s internal Slack messaging system to declare: “If Rockstar does not contact me on Telegram within 24 hours I will start releasing the source code.”

Kurtaj, from Oxford and part of the Lapsus$ hacking group, posted the clips and source code on a forum. He will remain at a secure hospital for life unless doctors deem him no longer a danger, Southwark crown court heard on Thursday.

The case has prompted City of London police to advise parents to be aware of their children’s internet usage.

The court heard that Kurtaj had been violent while in custody, with dozens of reports of injury or property damage. Doctors deemed him unfit to stand trial due to his acute autism and the jury was asked to determine whether or not he committed the alleged acts, not if he did so with criminal intent.

A mental health assessment used as part of the sentencing hearing said he “continued to express the intent to return to cyber-crime as soon as possible”, adding: “He is highly motivated.”

Yesterday in Lagos, Zenith Bank was giving a maximum of 5k OTC withdrawal and their ATMs weren't dispensing cash.
GTB was giving 10K max OTC and their ATMs were not dispensing as well.
I visited Access bank but the queue was mad. Seems majority of the population in that area bank with Access. I later learnt that they were offering 5k max OTC and their ATMs were not dispensing as well.

The Super League could be back on after judges at the European Court of Justice decided that blocking the new competition was against EU law.

The European Court of Justice has delivered its ruling on the proposed Super League and handed a blow to both FIFA and UEFA. The ECJ has declared that blocking the formation of the competition is contrary to EU law, potentially paving the way for the competition to be resurrected

The ruling stated that when it comes to potential new competitions the both FIFA and UEFA must ensure their powers are "transparent, objective, non-discriminatory and proportionate".

The ECJ went on to add: "However, the powers of Fifa and Uefa are not subject to any such criteria. Fifa and Uefa are, therefore, abusing a dominant position.

"Moreover, given their arbitrary nature, their rules on approval, control and sanctions must be held to be unjustified restrictions on the freedom to provide services.

"That does not mean that a competition such as the Super League project must necessarily be approved. The Court does not rule on that specific project in its judgment."

Inter Miami forward, Lionel Messi won this year’s Ballon d’Or award by 105 points, it has been revealed.

Messi polled 462 points in the voting, while Manchester City’s Erling Haaland had 357.

The organizers have published the final voting statistics, including how every country voted for the winner.

Kylian Mbappe, Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri finished with 270 points, 100 points and 57 points respectively.

Messi’s win is the first time a footballer outside Europe has won the prize.

The 36-year-old has also now taken the prize more than any player in history.

Authorities in Kenya have detained Brian Mwenda, a fake lawyer who has won 26 cases while posing as an Advocate of the high court of Kenya.

Before his arrest, the attorney handled 26 cases before High Court Judges, Magistrates, and Court of Appeal Judges, all of which he won, Kenyan entertainment news website Mpasho reported.

Due to false pretenses, the Law Society of Kenya Nairobi Branch Rapid Action Team (RAT) detained him.

When the RAT received complaints from the general population, he was captured.

He does not have a license to practice law in Kenya, according to LSK Nairobi Branch on their X account, and neither does he claim to be an advocate.

The notification stated, in part, that “the man has been presenting and conducting himself as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a member of LSK Nairobi Branch,” which had come to the knowledge of the LSK Nairobi Branch through the Rapid Action Team (RAT).

He is being detained in the RAT’s main office while an investigation is ongoing.
