Celebrities / Should A Criminal Offense Have An Expiry Date? by ALocoVivaVoce: 9:35am On May 25, 2016
Hello beautiful people,

It’s been a while I wrote to you and I profoundly apologize for that. My daily life has been crazy lately and I have struggled immensely to find a balance between my work and blog and I really hope my newly adopted schedule would work in the blog’s favor.

Be it as it may, I wholeheartedly miss writing and a lot of drama has gone on lately in Nigeria let alone the world that it killed me knowing I was indisposed to write about them. Hopefully, all that is in the past now and I would be spot on henceforth with giving my analysis and opinion to the happenings in our society – which brings me to the most recent development in the world today; BILL COSBY!

THIS JUST IN: Wlliam Henry “Bill” Cosby Jr has been ordered by a judge to stand trial for a crime he allegedly committed over FIFTY years ago in 1965.

You read that right! The earliest date claimed by Kristina Ruehli for being drugged and assaulted by Cosby in his Beverly Hills home was on December 1965. Although the incident happened in 1965, Ruehli didn’t come forward to speak about it until FORTY YEARS later in 2005.

This begs me to ask the question “are they really going to send a man to jail for a crime he did or did not commit FIFTY YEARS ago?”

Let me break it down into both scenarios.

Celebrities / The Okoye Brothers – Psquare Or Pcube? by ALocoVivaVoce: 8:41am On Apr 20, 2016
It is probably no longer news that there is fire on the mountain in the Okoye household. Is there even still an Okoye household? When news broke about their split, I must say I was distraught and deeply saddened because I was not just a fan of their music but it was Psquare who opened me up into the world of Nigerian artistes.

Theirs was the very first Nigerian album I ever purchased back in 2005 and whenever I sit and relax in the comfort of my own silence, I can always remember the sound of their track, my most favorite Psquare song of all time, I LOVE YOU, resonating within my walls as I blasted the song loud on the speakers so as to enable me feel every beat, tone, and lyric of the song.

Such rare talent both brothers possessed and yet in the twinkle of an eye, it has all been dismantled in the name of what?

We potty trained our kids in 1 week. It is a lot easier when the child has a care giver around who is dedicated to helping him/her potty train

Very impressive. Potty training really isn't as scary as most make it seem. As long as you're consistent, they would grasp it in no time.
Family / How I Potty Trained My Daughter In 10 Days by ALocoVivaVoce: 8:10am On Apr 04, 2016
Welcome to Motherhood Monday guys! Every first Monday of the month, I share unconventional tips for mothers, fathers, expecting and aspiring parents alike.

Today’s post is about a particular phase that a lot of parents struggle with in their kids; potty training. Sometimes, you have cases where a three, four, five year olds and even older kids still need to wear diaper or waterproof mattress cover when they sleep to prevent “bed wetting”.

Like I said, potty training is usually a very daunting phase for parents especially mothers and majority of them leave it for their teachers to handle whenever the child starts school so they would not have to go through the stress of it all.

Now the essence of this post is to let you know that there is no cause for alarm. I am going to share with you how I potty trained my EIGHTEEN (18) month old daughter in less than TWO WEEKS.

Yes! I said EIGHTEEN MONTHS! And I also said I potty trained her in less than TWO WEEKS! I will walk you through the steps as you proceed with the article.

You can call me Shade. Its not my name but its what I say now when
anybody asks,which isn’t often. I am invisible.

I have been wandering in this void for approximately 48 hours. That is
more or less the time after I had been certified dead on arrival at

Hello OUR,

My name is Anulika and I am a banker at one of those big banks here in Nigeria. As you probably know, banking jobs are very demanding but mine is even more demanding because my boss is a FRAUDSTER.

Not only is she a fraudster but she sweet talks her employees into being a witness to the fraud. It is so bad that she puts you in a tight corner where you cannot escape and also gives you a share of her loot so you wouldn’t even think of ratting her out.

Hello OUR,

My name is Aaliyah and I do not believe in sex before marriage. As a matter of fact, I made a commitment to myself, God and my parents not to have sex before I get married and so far I have been keeping that promise.

I am currently in a relationship and my boyfriend revered me when he found out about my no-sex promise and he even encouraged me to keep it with the idea that he would be the one to eventually pop my cherry :-)

Celebrities / The People Vs Ibinabo Fiberesima Vs Lekki Gardens by ALocoVivaVoce: 9:37am On Mar 16, 2016
Majority of us must have heard about the tragedy that befell Ibinabo Fiberesima (Nollywood Actress) and Richard Nyong (MD of Lekki Gardens).

For those of us who haven’t heard, here’s a recap.

Ibinabo Fiberesima is a veteran Nollywood actress who has been acting for as long as I can remember. She also happens to be the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).

Ten years ago on the 26th of February 2006, Ibinabo was said to have been driving along Lekki-Epe expressway when her car veered dangerously off the road and headed in the direction of a certain Dr. Giwa Suraj thereby killing him instantly.

Family / The Journey To Motherhood by ALocoVivaVoce: 9:13am On Mar 09, 2016
Nature as a biological function has a given urge to satisfy its requirement. Some may call it destiny; others, fate. But Science as we know it sometimes cannot even predict the outcome of nature when it decides to take its course.

The journey to motherhood is one of the many beautiful courses of nature. Although some may appreciate it more than others due to some unexpected bumps along the way, the end most certainly justifies the means.

Family / What Is The Maximum Amount You Are Willing To Spend On A Wedding? by ALocoVivaVoce: 9:05am On Mar 08, 2016
Hello readers! Welcome to Poll Tuesday on A Loco Viva Voce!!!

Last poll, I asked you the top 3 qualities you look for in a partner and they are Fear of God, Intelligence and Lovable personality. Nice choice guys!

Today’s poll is about all the millions millions people sometimes lavish on weddings. And the thing is as much as it is your wedding day, it is usually a very exhausting day for the bride and groom.

Although you sometimes get financial contribution from others (family, friends and well wishers), you are spending all that money for other people to come eat, drink and have fun.

But the question is if you were the sole provider for your wedding with no other contributor whatsoever, how much will you be willing to spend on that special day?

Remember to answer truthfully guys.

Happy voting!

IF “YOU” WERE “ME”…

IF “YOU” WERE “ME”…
Understanding your peculiarity keeps you away from unnecessary competition with others. It makes you Stay clear off jealousy, envy and hatred for others who are doing well in their own sphere. You are ‘you’. ‘You’ cannot be ‘me’. The only words which brings you and me together are; ‘and’ and ‘with’, which are purposely for partnership and for togetherness, so as to accomplish a greater task jointly and not to compete with each other.

THE REAL YOU
The real you is inside of you, not in others. Do not look for your true self in what others are doing. You are unique and different from others.
Until you discover your true self, you might still think others are Living your own life. Hence, the struggle for competition begins.
We are not created in life to struggle or compete with others. We are all uniquely engineered for a purpose. Each of us is created for accomplishment. But, until you discover that particular life task you are meant to accomplish, the struggle just began. Release your true self from his hiding place within you and let him come out in true identity of what he can do and accomplish.

SILENT TEARS (CHAPTER TWO AND THE END)

Rev. Osondu explicitly gave a touching sermon after they had finished chanting the hymns and so many people that were there felt the power that was in his words. He also confessed that the rate at which some villagers maltreat their fellow villagers, and even kill them had reached to an alarming state in Alum village and he pleaded that they should stay away from committing evil. It was obvious that everybody that heard about the death of Nwanyi Oma sensed a foul play in her death, but the question on who was responsible for her death still remained an unravelled puzzle to all of them.

Nwokenife and his family members just relocated back to Alum village from Lagos two years ago. Despite this, his wife’s burial ceremony was able to pull great crowd that paid their condolences to his family. Within this short interval of their stay in Alum village, everybody that had ever come in contact with them would attests to their unalloyed good behaviour.

Celebrities / Linda Ikeji, Her Real/fake Hermes Bag & Nigeria by ALocoVivaVoce: 8:28am On Feb 22, 2016
It’s a brand new day, a brand new week and a brand new drama on social media as always. Today’s drama stars our dear Linda Ikeji and her real/fake Hermes Birkin Bag. Let me bring oblivious readers up to speed.

Linda recently purchased a Hermes Birkin bag worth $14k (N4.8M) and then she announced it to the world on Instagram with the impression that she has supposedly “accomplished” something so worthwhile after what she said was a “TWO YEAR” wait period.

After her announcement and picture upload of the bag, some group of people now being described as “SOCIAL MEDIA TROLLS” sent the picture of Linda’s bag to Hermes’ official Instagram account so they could verify the authenticity of the bag and low and behold to the surprise of everyone, this so called two year wait original Hermes bag was described by the designer Hermes as a COUNTERFEIT.
