I am sure we have all heard about the amazing philanthropic act TY Bello carried out on a young lady named Olajumoke Orisaguna who hawked bread for a living. For those of us who haven’t, let me give you a recap.

In recent times, TY Bello who is a famous and successful Nigerian photographer was having an outdoor photo shoot on the streets of Lagos, Nigeria with Tinnie Tempah when he was photo bombed by a lady hawking bread.

As much as photo bombs are most times carried out accidentally because the photo bomber is usually not aware a picture is being taken, this photo bombing by the bread seller was almost done so strategically that seeing the picture, one would think she was a model dressed as a bread hawker on set a photo shoot alongside Tinnie Tempah.

From her pose to her facial expression to the way she hawked that bread so majestically, it is a wonder that she is (or was) a mere bread seller and not doing what comes to her so naturally.

With the conditions of failed education, poor financing, messed up reading attitudes, we have dwindled to be called the THIRD WORLD NATIONS, with subjects like ALGEBRA, HISTORY AND GEOGRAPHY out of the schools, how can we know who we truly are?

With countries like Cotonou been pipeline for used cars into our nation, when we have the ore and can manufacture our cars. ASCO was our dream project but then it failed, KIA is the youngest of the steel companies in the world, yet today they have seven brands in our market, brought into this country by one of our own, knowing they would make gains from killing ASCO, our beloved NITEL was raped by all and sundry yet they brought a replacement who yet extort us and we can’t throw away their SIM CARDS because we are hooked! ABU, UNN, FUT’S and the list goes on are plagued with poor internal leadership crippling the very existence of the next generation, where to? A PRIVATE SCHOOL, or better still Europe, Asia, and you know where, so they can brainwash us with ideas we know the system would not allow to thrive.

My name is Annabelle and I recently started talking to this guy named Nathan whom I met through a mutual friend over the phone. We live in different states and because of that, we haven’t met yet. However, that hasn’t stopped us from getting to know each other. We have been talking on the phone every day since the first day we spoke.

During one of our phone conversations, he asked me to be his girlfriend but I told him that I think we should wait until we see each other in person before we could officially start dating per se.

For God's sake there's no other shortcut for a working marriage..its a command. But civilization and too much literacy has been the devil's blindfolding weapon against human marriages.

They get empowered in d society and start using the power to penetrate their men's authority in the home especially in d western world whr divorce is d order of d day and now rapidly coming up in Africa.

God says the secret to a lasting marriage is on d right, civilization says the way is on d left, what do u expect to follow if not divorce.

Some of us may have come across the story of the woman, Noella Rukundo, who crashed her own funeral, surprising her husband who had paid to have her killed. Read the story HERE!!!

Her husband Balenga Falala was driven by a jealous rage where he thought his wife was going to leave him. So he sought to end her life before she got a chance to walk away thereby leaving eight ( children motherless.

Luckily for her, the kidnappers were kind enough to tell her everything that was going on because they knew her brother so I guess they were compassionate. They also handed her recordings of their conversation with her husband where he was ordering them to kill her.

My question is WHAT DRIVES A MAN TO THAT POINT WHERE HE THINKS IT IS OKAY TO KILL ANOTHER HUMAN BEING?

SOLILOQUIES

I wanted him back. Not in a thousand years would I have thought I
would ever come to this but then again,not in a thousand years would I
be on the throes of such scandal.

I was embittered at him for his deceit and disrespect of me after all
we had been through. But ‘the wife’ was never given a thought when a
pair of long,slender and youthful thighs promised pleasure
unimaginable. So I had never been given a thought,never been asked if
I would mind sharing my husband with a younger and more attractive
lover. If I would mind him spending more nights basking in the fires
of her youthful passion on supposed business trips than on our ashy
marital bed where I lay, lonely and abandoned,night after night. If I
would mind the heavy amounts he withdrew from our joint account to
satisfy her. If I would mind that they had made me an unwilling object
of pity and sympathy of both friends and foes alike. I had not been
asked but I did not care anymore. I wanted him back but it was not for
the reasons everyone else would think.

Hello OUR,

My name is Elvina and I am engaged to the man of my dreams. He is everything I have ever wanted in a man and he treats me so well that I need not ask for more. The only problem I have with him are his Facebook uploads.

Not just once or twice but at least once EVERYDAY, my fiance uploads pictures and memes where he is professing his undying love for his mother. Some of them read “I will love ONLY my mother till the end of time”, “No woman can ever take the place of my mother”, “I can never love a woman the way I love my mum” and so many others.

Yes! You read my title right. I know it is supposed to be Mr & Mrs Prince Sunny Aku but as far as I am concerned, Dabota has plotted and executed one of the biggest and most successful fraudulent deals of all time so I chose to give her the head title.

For some reason, all but her dear husband saw this coming. As we all know, rather than focus on her marriage, Dabota was all about showing off her billionaire husband’s wealth across social media and clapping back at anyone who made a comment that didn’t sit well with her.

Hello people and welcome to the month of LOVE. It’s going to be Valentine’s Day soon and for those of us that have a very special someone, I hope you get to spend the day with that someone and those that don’t, DON’T SWEAT IT. The very special someone in your life is YOU; so make sure you spoil yourself and show yourself a lot of LOVE!

Once again, I am going to apologize tremendously for the irregularities of the posts for the month of January. During the course of our lives, I am pretty sure a huge chunk of us have come across the words “husband material” or “wife material”. Some of us have had words like “you’re not wife material” said to us including me but I just have to ask this question, “WHAT EXACTLY IS HUSBAND/WIFE/BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND MATERIAL?”

Whomever can narrate the meaning in detail is welcome to share their thoughts with us all. I am so eager to learn.

To the best of my knowledge, what I understand from husband/wife material is an already set idea of what or how a person should look, dress, talk, walk, react, behave and basically live their entire live with hopes of one day becoming someone’s Mr or Mrs.

Let me reiterate the sentence above.

According to some set out rules by the universe, if a man or woman hopes to be married someday, there is a particular way he or she is expected to behave so they can be seen as the accurate choice for the institution for marriage.

So we probably have all heard about the Ice Prince drama with his “girlfriend” or as is being insinuated on social media, someone else’s “investment”. Let me break it down for those who are reading about this for the first time.

Maima Nkewa is a young, beautiful part Ghanaian young lady who resides and studies in Ghana. She and Ice Prince Zamani were in a relationship for quite sometime before they made their relationship public.

Still waxing strong in their relationship, Maima decided to pour out her heart to her lover by professing her undying love for Ice Prince on her Instagram page. Little did she know she would be waking up the beast.

Shortly after her “love acclamation”, someone commented on the post saying “Love? But you out there cheating with Akin” (FYI: Akin is a married man)… And the drama unfolded.

To corroborate his story, the accuser put up pictures of the Maima girl and the supposed Akin she was seeing. These pictures were of the two of them in the same location, with the same people but photographed separately. And to add the cherry on the cake, the photograph was take six weeks before the drama unfolded when Maima was supposedly on a vacation to Miami with her sister.

Basically, from the pictures, you can tell that Maima and the Akin guy were not only in the same location but were being dodgy about it which was why they both posted their individual pictures on their corresponding Instagram pages but not the pictures of them together.

Following the revelation, Maima’s lover Ice Prince surprisingly took Maima’s side defending her of not cheating but being the victim. And of course the trolls came after him on social media.

Subsequently, the Akin guy started posting more pictures and proof of him and Maima’s “existing” relationship. Even people that knew of the pair started writing in and telling Ice Prince to back off as Maima was Akin’s “investment” because he had spent so much money on her and her family and he wasn’t ready to let go of her yet.

OMG! I honestly cannot believe that in this day and age, people are still referring to another human being as an investment.

During the course of this post, I am going to dish out my opinion to the three parties involved i.e. Ice Prince, Maima and Akin.

About a month ago, a Nigerian journalist, activist and social media personality, Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo a.k.a Snitchlady accused the famous blogger Linda Ikeji of receiving N240 million from the embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki from the $2.1 billion arms deal.

Kemi claimed that Linda got her 550M Banana Island mansion as a gift from a politician in exchange for not running a story.

Aside from her accusations and finger pointing, she also claimed to have proof that Linda actually collected money from this so called politician who according to her is male.
