That is all sentiment! Politics is a game of numbers and votes are a matter of choice. It is the duty of the political party to field credible candidates that are acceptable to all. Those who support their candidates are free-born, politics is not culture or tradition. U will not see an Igbo person contributing to who becomes Oba, that is a traditional office. What are the rules of the Lagos community anyway? That the Oba decides who is Governor? Or everyone must agree with him? Since when and how? People discriminate because they cannot stand playing on a level field and nothing more!

I still ask u, did Igbos not also support Ambode? Did Yorubas not also support Agbaje? Who is the Oba to decide the electoral choices and votes of Lagos residents who are qualified to vote? Were they not all Nigerians entitled to cast their votes for their choices? In places like the UK and other countries where some Nigerians and Africans have emerged mayors or occupied political offices who has threatened them or those that voted for them? Did other tribes in Lagos not also vote their preferred candidates? If all Lagos residents vote one choice then where is the competition? Do we have a one-party state? Even if Lagos is APC can another candidate on another political platform not contest and win?

You cannot justify the senseless and thoughtless act/threats of the Oba so just admit he was wrong or let it be. He was rather the disrespectful one and should have had regard for the revered seat he occupies! He is not even supposed to be partisan as a traditional father of his subjects. I ask again, why didn't he call out Yorubas that supported Agbaje?

U see the problem! First we are referring to the Oba of Lagos and not Obasanjo. Secondly, who decides what qualifies as respect? How will someone show that they support someone other than by coming out en-masse to show support? What do u mean by disrespectful or arrogant please? Did the Igbos break a law by supporting Agbaje? Who are u or the Oba to demand respect from law-abiding citizens of Nigeria whom u did not extend any form of social welfare or charity to? Are they beholden to the Oba? Do they not pay their taxes and go about their businesses like other Lagosians? Just explain what respect and humility u feel the Igbos owed the Oba if not to bow to his wish and vote his choice? Is it now the place of the Oba to decide whom Lagosians should vote for? Please just explain.

All they have asked for basically is non-interference. Besides the Op said nullification will mark the beginning of the separation of Nigeria. How is separation synonymous with war?

For Lagos, Oba was clear, that if PDP/Agbaje won then he and his descendants would drown in the lagoon and so on. There was no need for violence till after the elections which would most likely have been if PDP had defeated APC.

I just wonder still what justification he had cos Agbaje is as Yoruba and Lagosian as Ambode. Yorubas supported him just as some Igbos supported Ambode. U and I know for sure that it is not only Igbos that voted Agbaje in Lagos, so why did he not also threaten other Yorubas and other tribes that would vote Agbaje? What was he thinking or imagining?
