Trash it's clearly shows that u lack common basis economic analysis. If your government is desperately in need of revenue, lifting ban on importation is it the best solution to income generator ? If importation is higher than exportation what do u think it will result to ? Don't you think it's will definitely befall government revenue or income generation. We are talking of how government will boost our economy through diversification . If government encourage small scale industry and we start exporting to other country who will benefit most? Is'nt not Nigeria government....... Must we rely on importation ? Another setback forward change indeed Nigeria has enter one chance

I'm not a gej or pmb fan. I js wanted to get that out of the way first.
Also, pmb has done nothing to add to what gej did in fighting bh.
Dey were as gud as crushed as at d inaugration date.
Now, its js as if deyve bn given the freedom to roam about. They are gradually regaining momentum.
I support the attacks on the ND militants bh seriously, was dt d most pressing issue.
Fink he shud get the security issue sorted out b4 any oda thing because that's the most inportant thing. Human lives isn't a joke.
Insecurity also has adverse effects on d economy.
I'm tired of waiting for Mr. President to start getting things done n beginning to believe dt he is js too old to rule.
As it stands, even though there is no gain in comparison, Gej was a far better option.
#myopinion.
GEJ! Who allowed Bokoharam to become the menace they have turned to now. GEJ refused to fight them until he needed to win an election Buhari in his few days has shown more resourcefulness in dealing with BH than GEJ did. Note; BH have returned to their earlier tactics which shows the military is making progress

With the approval of new universities in Nigeria by Jonathan, lots of job for qualified teaching staff have been advertised. In Nairaland alone i've seen lots of vacancies for universities.

Truth of the matter is there are jobs in Nigeria but there are less qualified candidates. Our youths of nowadays are okay graduating with a 3rd class or LMPG (let my people go) result and they somehow miraculously want to work in an oil company. undecided. In UK, you want a top graduate job, the lowest entry standard is 2.1. That's before they factor in experience, communication skills and the other stuffs.

Our youths are so lazy they do not make effort at educating themselves beyond undergraduate levels. Coupled with the archaic teaching standards of some universities that churns out half baked graduates. How can a graduate in Business Management or Entrepreneurship be searching for a job? Why not create jobs? Must we depend on Government alone?

To the youths, we should try to educate ourselves beyond basic Bachelors degree. There are lots of cheap professional qualifications one can get. And also you can study for a masters degree online at your own pace. Online learning has evolved and now highly recognized as on-site learning. You can be an employer of labor like me wink wink grin. Government nor go fit pay us if we leave our business say make we find work.

To the adults, it may be too late already but please in God's name let us educate our children no matter how much it costs. Send them to good schools so they can learn properly. So they can learn the difference between propaganda and facts. The last election showed us how much we Nigerians are uneducated even though we think we are! Them deceive us black and blue well well.

this is what is wrong with Nigeria just because you have a good job doesn't make others lazy. Or do you think it's easy to 'start a business' in the current Nigeria atmosphere. Bro, get off your high horse!

What's the common sense in it? |Explain why the Police will tackle this problem more than the Army. You just typed "Common sense is not common" while you hold foolishness in your left hand and stupidity in your right hand .
you see your life exposing your lack of a functional cerebellum to the entire world..... ehn, ok let me educate you small.
The president didn't order the police to take over the war against BokoHaram instead he ordered the removal of military Road Blocks while asking the police to take over internal security. this move i believe is to make the military focus more on the fight against insurgency in the country. now, this decision was not made overnight it was a joint decision arrived at after having a five hour meeting
with the service chiefs.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, Ismail Aliyu, has this to say, “The President has instructed the Chief of Defence Staff to get the Chief of Army Staff and Inspector General of Police to remove all the military men along the road across the country. The Nigerian Armed Forces are very ready, we have briefed him. One most interesting thing about it is that we are going out much happier because he has shown to us that he is still a soldier, he has updated and enriched our strategic plans."

Oga, Mr Barcanista is responding to Alhaji Lai Mohammed who stated that the present administration (barely a month old) has performed better than GEJ's entire 5years in office.
Barcanista is a sore loser who don't even know the first law of criticism. The guy is just acting like a baby that just lost it's candy. Am not surprise barcanista supports the clueless one (note:the name was earned from 5years of hard work in 'carelessness') so it's to be expected.

Common mistake of every Biafran is to solicit for support from the North or West. same people who have invested so much to your down fall and destruction. Wike should be reminded that part of the grand conspiracy to Islamise Biafra Land is gathering momentum. While Apc is the political arm Boko Haram/Fulani herdsman are the militant arm.

Is Wike not aware that Biafra land is under bombardment? Akwa Ibom and Calaba was under heavy bombardment in the last few days by the combine might of the zoo forces, orderd by the Terrorist and jihadist himself from Daura and carried out by a yoruba Man. Wike, your request is like asking the Devil for help.

The sooner He Wike, realizes that for him and us as Biafrans to survive , this onslaught is for us to stand on our two feet, while we look inward for help and survival.

Any one surprise that it was only during Jonathan's admisnistration that no part of Biafra Land was under attack by Nigeria?

The problem wasn't gej but the system he met on ground and likewise the snail approach to issues by buhari is due to the system he met on ground too.
Now you are talking sense I knew you were very intelligent all along, lol..... wink. If Buhari refuses to do anything about the system I am going to kick harder against him than I did to GEJ, the system must be sanitized.

All the 16 members of the ECOWAS, including Nigeria, had agreed to introduce a uniform import tariff, pegged at 35 per cent maximum, from January this year, to facilitate trade within the region.

THE OP SHOULD READ THE BOLDED. this was not done by Buhari. Secondly, this move is even of more benefits to the Aba boys because it means lesser competition from imported goods.

Politics › Re: Buhari Meets Dasuki, Jets Out To Niger, Chad by AlPeter: 5:36am On Jun 02, 2015
It is truly a disgrace that Nigeria had to RELY on Chad, Cameroun and Niger to LEAD the fight against BokoHaram when it could have crushed the sect before it became a regional menace. Now that it is Nigeria should be the one LEADING and Co-Ordinating the other Nations in other to effectively stamp it out.... Visiting the other nations to get firsthand reports is a common-sense move but alas common sense is not common.
