Its just a form of Abstinence ie keeping the death of jesus in mind do not enjoy meat. How can some pple come and claim here that people abstain cus of poverty. For heaven sake stay away from meat just one day outta a whole year as a mark of respect nothing more. Some poor people will spend more money buying meat tomoro same reason why they can only afford meat once a year which is every good friday just to prove disobedience.

Sometimes I think the unemployment rate is over 80%. The pdp govs are not employing the acn govs are busy employing graduates as traffic wardens. The fed gov is still thinking of uping fuel price. O! Abeokuta – The Ogun Police Command on Monday dispelled the rumour that three beheaded corpses were dumped on the Ijebu-Ode-Ibadan expressway on Sunday.

The command’s spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, said in a statement on Monday in Abeokuta that the rumour  was calculated to create fear  in the minds of Nigerians.

“ The command wishes to state categorically that the rumour is the handiwork of mischief makers and should be disregarded by the general public.

“ The Commissioner of  Police, Ikemefuna Okoye, has assured the general public of the command’s commitment to  providing adequate security for all and sundry,”  the statement said. (NAN)

Christianity Etc › Re: Is Kissing And Hugging Sinful In Christian Courtship? by alphaconde(m): 11:57am On Mar 24, 2013
all i can say is that kissing is a venial sin. i dont see it as grave. lemme ask a question.
once there was a repented armed robber, his gang men persuaded him to join in a robbery after he had repented.he obliged unable to resist d temptation. so they took up thier guns and set out. on reachin thier victims residence,he suddenly got d grace to fight the urge. he dropped the gun and left to the chargrin of the gang mates.
now i put before u. has this man sinned.
in another case, there was this man who specializes in setting up weapons and arms for his gang mates to rob but never goes to the crime site,.
now see these two men who is a dwelling sinner.
the first of the second.
so also is the issue of kissing and hugging. when u have decided that kissing isnt a sin and continue to kiss ur patner thats a sin of assumption. but when u resist the temptation of sex buy rescuing ur self @ the level of kissing then Gods grace is upon u. lets the wise decipher the ways of the lord. may the spirit of God be with u all,.

and with my spirit

Me think she's overtly concious. The nysc has been over this issue time after time. The trousers are more suitable for camping exercise. When she realized she was going to b forced against her faith she could have gladly deffered the camping exercise and opted for exemption.
NYSC › Corper Decamped For Refusing To Wear Trousers by alphaconde(op): 8:18pm On Mar 12, 2013
ABEOKUTA – Reactions have started trailing the decamping of
2013 Batch A, female corps member, Ms Tolu Ekundayo, by the
National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Ogun State for wearing skirt
at the Shagamu orientation camp.
In a press conference organised by Ekundayo’s church, Faith Revival
Apostolic Church, FRAC, in Lagos, the expelled corps member said
she was asked to leave the camp at about 11.00pm on March 8,
2013 by the Ogun State NYSC Co-ordinator, for her refusal to
put on trousers.
She explained that her refusal to wear trousers was not in
disobedience to NYSC authorities but in line with her belief and faith
in God.
Also speaking, Apostle Paul Adenuga condemned the manner in which
Ekundayo was expelled from the camp in the dead of the night
without considering her safety and called on the Director-General
of NYSC and the federal government to look into the matter
before it gets out of hand.
“I call on Nigerians, mostly Christians that stand for the truth, not
only to jointly condemn this barbaric and bestial act but to engage in
constructive dialogue with the concerned authority for the change
of such policy if it is official.”

Serendipity: I would be very glad to have elucidation on this point.
Can it be established factually or is it just a matter of faith that should be termed sacrosanct?
This is because there are many people that seemingly succeed /without God.
They say 2 heads are better than 1. God is just my second head. That's basically what I can say. I know people succeed without God but me believe I can't go any further without God.
