Foreign Affairs › Re: Describe Nelson Mandela In One Word? by alphaconde(m):
Personally I marvel the way nigerians behave, for heaven sake this man was a south african and 95years. Many souls have died today in nigeria, just this week we are burying a REP member and Prof Iyayi, no memorial pages were opened.
Now madibba has died everyone is gonna identify with him like he gave them scholarship while he was alive.
Brethren take this time to think about your own lives and your country., while clapping for someone make sure the sound you are making isn't making someone laugh at u.

mad nigerian: Obesity, diabetes, hypertension, tooth decay, organ damage, fatigue....

Better to avoid sugar , and alcohol and be like Jack La Lanne.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_lalanne

I have answered your question....now answer mine.......can you refute the points I have raised ? With science?

Alcoholisim has a bad effect on the body. Just ask people like Tony Adams(Arsenal and England player and captain 1983-2002).
You have spoken like a fine man. Well what am saying is that while condemning alcohol, you have to remember that alcohol is not the bad but alcoholism.
Islam › Re: A Muslim's View Of The Ban On Alcohol In Kano State by alphaconde(m): 7:29pm On Dec 04, 2013
Sissie: You are comparing alcohol with sugar really!!!!!!!

Alcohol does not only affect the drinker it affects others too, I.e the innocent bystander that gets killed by a drunk driver, the wife that gets molested, etc. The list is endless. Alcoholism is a disease and should be treated as one.

One does not need to be religious to be anti-alcohol.
Beautiful girl u have spoken intelligently, but then alcoholism and alcohol aren't same. I use alcohol appropriately and I like it.
Islam › Re: A Muslim's View Of The Ban On Alcohol In Kano State by alphaconde(m): 7:09pm On Dec 04, 2013
mad nigerian: Well I am against alcohol for the following reasons....it can increase your risk of many health problems, including:

Bleeding in the digestive tract
Brain cell damage
Brain disorder called Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome
Cancer of the esophagus, liver, colon, and other areas
Changes in the menstrual cycle (period)
Delirium tremens (DT's)
Dementia and memory loss
Depression and suicide
Erectile dysfunction
Heart damage
High blood pressure
Inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis)
Liver disease, including cirrhosis
Nerve damage
Poor nutrition
Sleeping problems (insomnia)
Alcohol use also increases your risk for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and violence.

Drinking alcohol while you are pregnant can lead to severe birth defects in the baby.

Give me the disadvantages of using sugar excessively.
So excessive sugar or alcohol or too much work all have one harm or the other to the body. So taking alcohol out and trashing it like a disease is what I don't like. There are other things that damage the man than alcohol does. As for me, am associated with alcohol.
Islam › Re: A Muslim's View Of The Ban On Alcohol In Kano State by alphaconde(m): 6:50pm On Dec 04, 2013
Any one against alcohol is a bloody hypocrite.
If alcohol is a sin then everything that we do that has one negative effect on our body or the other is a sin. For instance hard labour.
Education › Re: Unemployability Of Nigerian Graduates by alphaconde(m):
The banks these days employ science students, they r able to do so becuase they have a standard training processes. The simple problem in nigeria is that people are unemployeable cus there are no jobs. If there were job everyone will fit in somewhere.

Politics › Re: Edo Widow Shuns PDP’s N250,000 Gift by alphaconde(m): 10:50am On Dec 04, 2013
This PDP chairman is a mo'R'on. Common sense should have told him that he ought to increase any offer he's making above what oshiomhole gave the widow for her to change her mind. The governor offered 2m, a job and there's call for oshiomhole to marry her which are higher than the paltry 250k Dan is offering.

Why did he wait for Oshiomhole to trip before helping Edo widows ? He did well uploading the video of Oshiomhole's recklessness but trying to politicize it even when the governor has apologised and compensated the widow will only expose his ulterior motive; that he's not really concern about the welfare of widows but trying to re-build the image of his dead party in Edo state.
Goanddie

Wished our politicians had any form of management model.
Just enter politic switch positions, minister for works today, tomorrow minister for culture. Praise them today, tomorrow they visit efcc. They join a party today tomorrow they lambast the party as if they had a gun in their head while joining the party. I wanted to be a politician career wise, but I can't see how honourably I can do that.
Webmasters › Re: Most Embarrassing Moment In Front Of A Potential Client! by alphaconde(m): 11:42am On Dec 03, 2013
In my own case, I have tried over a long period of time to have audience with a governorship aspirant in my state to introduce a new campaign product. He finally invited me.
My product uses ba3s on getting to his house he left a crucial meeting to see my work. Lo and behold when he came I couldn't find my batteries. I even asked for his remote batteries, that even made me look more stupid. He gave me enough time to go out and buy. Mhen I searched for a shop to buy battery and finally I found one. When I got back to him I was sweating. I did the presentation quite well, but he never called me to seal the deal.
I was so disappointed. Thank God I turned out successful in other things, I would have concluded I had spiritual problems.
Lessons before you meet your client, don't assume you got all you require. Kindly cross check.
