jayooh: Have you been able to book via IOM to any mainland Australia state? What was the ticket price if so? Maybe I'd just do IOM for international and Online for local.
NB. The Egypt air ticket will have Etihad operating 1 or 2 trips, not so bad. Etihad is cool too I suppose I No too sabi geography., so the mainland thing not clear to me. But I was charged 434k to Sydney. Yes etihad operates the last leg of the trip and they are equally capable. For the sake of long trip stress. I am pro Emirates as they offer excellent flight experience and good seats with the best in-flight entertainment and meals and drinks and However expect the trip to take like 4 days due to two layer overs which maybe upto 24 hrs combined and delays especially in Cairo. Local flights in Australia are quite cheap. Booking ahead now if you have arrival dates already as it will definitely save you cost If I get you right? Is your initial plan to do a trip with a single airline with 7 days stop at maybe Perth then continue on Sydney 7 days later..... that would have cost a arm and a large though. IMO. Do IOM to anywhere in OZ. Then use sky scanner to do local flight to final destination. And if the state you land is not too far from each other and you want to be an explorer You can enjoy a bus tour to you next destination |

jayooh: No stops policy. I wan stop within the subcontinent for like 7 days. More so tickets from some of these online agents are less than 400k Oh I see. I agree the discounted ticket doesn't give much flexibility. But still Emirates na Emirates sha Egypt Air is the cheapest at 380k that I've seen You can check gotogate and vayama for good deals. Also try booking the legs separately, combined routes sometimes cost more. |

M3A16: A lot of thanks for this ma/sir, but if there are signs that this will go through, does it worth trying? Are there any side effects? What about the living conditions there for the people under this package? Do they have the same right that people like you and the rest of others who entered there through other legitimate ways have? Will they be able to leave the country at their will?
I really appreciate. You can get all the information on the path you seek below. https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/refu |

jayooh: Hi people, has anyone booked via Skyscanner here? Please which of their dealers are best to go with cause a see different dealer there. Kiwi has most of the lowest fare but their terms n condition are not spelt out plain so one should be wary. Plus na 1baggage allowance. why not use IOM which offers better rate worth about about 49% discount (via emirates airline) their Australia office can get you tickets within 48hrs unlike NG office. |

paulooma: Hello House,
The ACS team has mailed me to submit the RPL Project Report Document along with additional fees.
At that outset, I'm looking for few samples which could help me out to write my document. (I'm fully aware, I should not be using anything from any document or internet sources as that would be considered plagiarism.)
Please house, help me with RPL sample to guide me.
cc @bellong, @Azy123, @ZoeW, @Alphadoor on the RPL samples, what anzsco code did you nominate? on the MSCE, It seems you got it in March 2015? and it maybe the reason why ACS is suggesting RPL so you can claim that vital 5pts |

flyca: Alphadoor Sir/Ma, as much as I appreciate your comment, I wish you didn't.
Not all answers are in page 1! I have read page 1 thoroughly, it gives general info, which is what I have used to get to the stage I am on currently. However page 1 does not address individual bodies and their requirements.
Page 1 is not almighty, that is why up until the current page, people still ask and get answers to individual queries. Please don't discourge us.
Thank you. I don't think I have said anything to discourage you in my responses. some of your questions are generic, alas me pointing you to page 1. Also I answered those I could and finally, as mentioned earlier also , comb the thread for EA guides as it has been mentioned severally. |

flyca: Please help me understand.
Does it mean that as an Engineer, you can either go through Engineers Australia or through VETASSES for skill assessment?
Then you proceed to apply for state nomination?
I wish to apply for subclass 190. Is this the correct sequence pls.
Also, please is there any general website to apply for SkillSelect or one has to go one by one through the state websites to apply?
Cc: bellong Kindly Refer to page 1 |

Omoefe1994: Hello House,
Thanks to everyone commenting and sharing their knowledge here.
A bit of good news!!
We got ITA this morning for 489 from South Australia for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for my husband.
We have been on this journey for a while but met with a bit of disappointment last year when he did not pass one of the 4 modules in the AIMS professional exams in the September 2017 diet which will have enabled us to apply for 189 as Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS).
We decided to try various state nominations for MLT and we were so fortunate to apply for SA nomination on 5th July just as they opened their nomination for the new financial year. Coincidentally, the opportunity closed a few days later and its now currently available only if you meet the high points criteria. Almost 3 months later, this morning we got the ITA mail.
However my husband has just recently written the September 2018 of the AIMS exams again and we are hopeful for a positive result sometime in November so we can explore 189 though his current score is 60 so he may need to either rewrite English or get his additional years of experience assessed by AIMS or I can get my skills assessed by CPA to give him additional points since I have IELTS result already.
But my husband wants to go ahead and apply for this SA 489 since that is what is certain now but I'm just seeking for opinions here on if we should hold on and not accept this SA 489 yet since its a provisional visa.
Please I will like some advice from our seniors here.
I understand Oga Bellong lives in SA as well so I would appreciate if you could add your opinion as well as to whether if this SA 489 is a good option to accept.
Thank you very much. SA 489 ITA today with 60 days validity means validity expires December 3, 2018. waiting for November has two unknown variables , English and AIMS exams and you need both to pan out in your favor. 489 and 189 cost the same and requires same document, start working towards it now My own opinion is to wait it out. If by November 30th, no joy, fire on with your 489. I was once in same situation, but i had only one unknown variable... English... and luckily it came through for me 5 days before 489 expired Best of luck |

tunlex01: The experience was very okay. I was the only one who wrote on that day. Just remember to cover the marker that will be given to you when you are not using it. I forgot to cover mine and I missed some words in the summarize spoken text before I was given another marker.
I'm planning to rewrite with UKEAS because it allows for the exam to be written on Mondays including Tuesdays & Wednesdays, whereas Bellaz is only available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
Please if you have written with UKEAS, how was d experience like? I have written at both centers twice each judging from my own experience I give thumbs up to bellas as their environment is quiet and center is well organized, system glitches were minimal or non existent. |

tunlex01: So my occupation (149212) has been moved to low availability in SA last weekend while I'm still here waiting for Vetassess outcome. I pray it comes out this week.
I need help with getting the required documents for the application. Please pm me if you have applied for any state nomination, I need clarification and compare some of the requirements.
I want to be able to apply as soon as my assessment result comes out.
Na beg I dey beg. SA has a document checklist on their website, its pretty much straight forward to use. Start prepping with the list ASAP and the cost is 200aud |
