Studied biochemistry and have 5years experience in medical labouratory. Please how do i start. Do i need to verify my result that's ECA?? Or i just go straight to contact a skills accessing body. And please which accessing body will i use for Biochemistry. How will i know the state that needs my skills? Biko my questions many but please help.

Still here folks. Stopped following Part 1 on page 400 (about the time spyroxy1 got grant). Had a disappointing IELTS (9.0,8.5, 7.5,7.0) result again. EOR took more than three months and still came back negative. I need 20 maximum points. Got discouraged and abandoned thread.

I am married with a son, do I need to apply separately or will one application cover both? Do both of us need to write the "language skill test"? True. It's a dicey situation. One can wait till after July 1 and still be safe if occupation remains on the list. On the other hand, one can proceed Now and be cut off especially for people whose occupation is being assessed by VETASSESS and or have Nigerian degrees as FAST TRACK is almost impossible for them. Imagine if one's assessment is caught up in VETASSESS' REGULAR processing time of 10 weeks, then comes July 1 and the occupation is taken off the list

Meanwhile, no ITA yet let alone Visa application lodged (I guess it is until after this has happened that one becomes entirely secured despite the removal of occupation). [b]Please correct my notion if I

Well I have gotten my band 7.I have decided to wait till after 1-july b4 I assess for any occupation.There is no point dashing Vetasses money when you are not sure your occupation will still be relevant

Also. I understand that the financial year 2018 - 2019 begins from 1st of July 2018 and that a number of changes might occur (a number of occupations may be taken out of the mltssl). Last year about 200 occupations were taken out. Based on this is it advisable to proceed still or do we just wait to see the new list? (that is for those of us still in the early stages who might be impacted by changes if they occur)

My 65 point permutation is as follows:
Age -30 points
PTE - Hopeful for 20 points (its a must)
Qualification -15 points

I have not included any point for work experience (because its not really up to 3 years), however i need to demonstrate relevant work experience to get Vetassess give us a positive assessment. Thanks bro

I really do not know why your assessment by ACS was AQF Diploma, I went to a Nigerian Private Uni too and got equivalent AQF Bachelors Degree with a major in computing.
The occupation you nominated and applied for assessment, is it the same occupation you have 10 years experience in?

I have been following this thread for a while and I have finally decided to register. I am in the process of getting my skills assessed but I desperately need to upgrade my PTE to 20 points. Respect to @spyroxy1 @Azy123 @afosahid @bellong @Alphadoor and everyone who have made 20 points.

Please where can I practice test questions that will help? I'm writing again in 3 weeks and I want it to be my last.

Btw after giving PTE my all, I had over 70 across all the sections but below 79. Please I need pointers for all the sections. Aussie on my mind day and night.

Like EA that requires CDR episodes? What does one do to satisfy ACS? Is it just employment reference letters?
