Many people cry and lament often times because their private information have been compromised. It ranges from having your bank and card details stolen or your online account(s) access is compromised whereby someone is having a unauthorised access to your accounts.

There are many places where your data can be compromised. This is called hacking. It is when someone tries to penetrate a digital devices such as phones, computers and other gadgets where personal information is stored. Places where your data could be hacked include untrustworthy sites, online forum or even physically, when someone tries to access your personal devices.
But people have stayed all their lives on the internet or online but their devices and accounts have never been tempered with. This is not because they are invisible to hackers and cyber attacks. Why they have remained untouched and their accounts not compromised, forms the basis for my discussion.

The two important reasons I see why your account will be hacked will be firstly because you lack self control. Lack of self control comes in when you cannot forgo pop up on any site you visit. Someone can actually hack and hijack your account if he sends unsuspecting pop-ups and you go ahead to follow the links. When you directly clicks on some of these links, you are unknowingly giving them access to your web activities including your browser cookies, cache and saved login details you might have saved. Some are bugs that kind of overlays your keyboard and is waiting for anytime you are going to be inputting login details into any site, by that you are also automatically telling them your passwords and other details

Sometimes, it will do you a lot of good to forgo some pop ups and concentrate on what you are on the site to do. Not all images of fine girls that pop up are actually beautiful ladies, or handsome men, they are traps that you should not fall for. Stop click dancing on every site you visit.

The second reason is that you are creating passwords that are weak and often times can be guessed by anyone. Example of such is using your phone number as passwords. Someone can easily start trying to gain access to your page by inputting your phone number and then as well trying other means. Some other times, it is using weak combination passwords. Many people say they like to use login combinations they can always remember. Some of them go as far as using numbers like 0000 and 1111. For god sake, these number can easily be guessed.

Combine passwords beautifully like your life depends on it. Get a proper documentation of these and keep them safe. Don't be in a hurry to create a weak password. Use the alpha-numeric symbols to put a little difficulty on your passwords. That is why they are called passwords, they should grant only you access.

Avoid clicking on every pop ups you get on any site you visit and avoid over crowded sites with poor navigation as most of them of deliberately designed to ensure you unintentionally click on whatever that is going on there.

You will agree with me that organisations that are thriving today have done so because they have recruited capable hands to manage their daily affairs. And to this feat, we give kudos to the Human Resources department for such diligent in making only the right people are engaged. While we reminisce on this feat, we also need to understand that some organiations have not been so lucky in their recruitment process. The have hired some individuals who have questionable characters and motives and thereby slowing down the organisation from achieving it's set goals and objectives.

Today, I want to talk about two types of persons that do not deserve a place in your establishment as they will reduce the organisational work process to the barest minimum. At such, steady losses and dissatisfaction from customers will be encountered.

First on the list are the opportunist. Opportunist are people who try to circumvene organisational process to suit their selfish aims. They always try to by pass protocols and take advantage of certain circumstances in the organisation for their own profit.

Companies and related ventures are set up to make gains and profit. And from those profits, Salaries and wages are paid to staff. Utility management is sorted out. So when companies do not make gains, the organisation might not be able to meet up with it's responsibilities which will negatively impact the contracted personnel. And why this is so sometimes is because some opportunistic individuals recruited by the company have decided to exploit loopholes in the organisation to their own gain and at the company's detriment.

This set of people deserve no job. Regular and thorough auditing could fish out most of these opportunistic group in the company fold. And when they are found, you know what to do. (In case you don't know what to do, send me a mail. I would gladly help).

The second set of persons are those that can mostly be known through customer satisfaction survey. Their actions put the company the work for in great grave danger. They are the Sadists. They drive pain in seeing other people suffer and as a business owner, it is not different. They are only happy when the company makes losses. And only then are they satisfied.

Sadists turn turn every opportunity to attend to customers as opportunities or avenues to satisfy their ill fated barbaric desires. They hijack organisational processes and re-author then to fit their goals. Sometimes, their ill fated mandate to see another sad, cumulates most times in sexual advances and sexual satisfaction. They are aggressive and tend towards organised rapists and kidnappers.

They manifest in higher institutions as lecturers and professors who will do anything and everything possible to frustrate students of opposite sex and this they do to satisfy their sexual tendencies. We hear a lot about this type of lecturers, who are only out to disgrace and put their institutions to shame. They exist in every institutions. They are sadists!

Do not engage them in your organisations.

Today I want to look at investment and looking at what is currently happening in the society. There are many investment options available to everyone. It depends on the resources at your disposal in other to take up any of the numerous options. Monetary investment have seen many people depressed or even have met unfavorable circumstances due to the fact that these investment options were not yielding profit or totally crashed and investors have been left stranded.

Coin trading have characterized the world economy. The twenty first century investment is now something of personally buying investment options yourself without the need to go through the banking channels. Individuals can now buy shares, stocks and trade directly themselves. Which is quite good since you control the movement yourself. Instead of leaving your cash with the bank at a significant low interest rate of point two percent in most cases per anum, you learn how to, and trade directly by yourself and could garner as much as twenty percent on investment. Though these things, financial market trading takes time and requires rigorous training period - It is also wise to know that there are other forms of investment out there.

In today's reality, stock markets or in general, financial markets are not stable. They are never stable. They fluctuate with occurrence and happenings in the political space. Knowing this as well, will help anybody that is trading in the financial market to know that any period of great political instability should be a no-trade-period. Because the markets will be extremely volatile.

Apart from this options of stock, shares and coins trading such as the Bitcoin, Ethereum, dodge and others, the option of tangible investment should be explored. This deals with investing in physical assets such as landed properties. This investment option is never volatile, and they do appreciate reasonably with time. Those investing in real estate are of course building multi wealth opportunities in this regards. Land or properties bought today at $100 will and can never be sold at any rate lower that $101. It is most likely that a forty percent interest will be accrued within a three years period.

Major factors that could escalate prices for land and landed properties will include geometric economic growth and systematic development of areas where these properties are situated.

My take would be that anyone wanting to invest should consider investment in properties and real estate as present day realities favors such investment.

In Nigeria, you don't start talking about apprenticeship and forget mentioning the indigenous tribe of the eastern region, the Igbo. The Igbo trade and apprenticeship system has lasted for decades. It entails serving someone, a master, for some period of years after which the person gets settled - paid off.

The years one can serve ranges from five to nine years. It involves rigorous involvement in a particular merchandise or trade fro those number of years. The enrollee, the servant, is trained to know the in and out of what the business entails. He is also taught purchases, of which may involve, importation of goods from other countries.

The most striking thing about this system of training is the send off ceremony and entitlement. At the end of the training period, the servant having satisfied all training processes is then awarded, not limited to, some amount of money for startup. He also gets to take charge of an fully equipped shade/stall/warehouse, these are courtesy of the master.

At this juncture, the servant becomes a master with his own business and business name. Then come the issue of sales.

At his former master's business sales might not necessarily be cumbersome as he is coming to an established business with customers already patronizing the place. He mostly learns how to sale and engage customers. But on his part now, having a new business, he is to learn how to get customers, keep customers and sale to them.

It becomes a lot easier if contacts are made when he was with his former boss, he can easily get some of them, who have trusted his sale expertise to patronize his new establishment. Two things could be highlighted that could make sales a lot easier

1. If he truly learnt all that needed to be learnt in the business i.e the learning process must be thorough. Most person don't get to stay till the end of their apprenticeship period and so jeopardize their chances of securing good relationships and valuable business contacts. If he stays till the end of his training period, he should have mastered the art of sales and that could endear him to more fortune.

2. Having a convincing power to keep customers. So we have a problem in our society where we always chant 'give new people an opportunity' all the time but we never truly do. I went to get a hair cut sometime ago but on getting there, I realized the main person wasn't on seat and so I have the option of engaging the apprentice in the barber's shop or going somewhere else. Lol, what did I do . . . ? ��� I decided to go. My hair cut is important to me, please. But on hearing that the shop owner would be back soon, I decided to wait for him and when the apprentice decided to call me as it has gotten to my turn, I asked him, "Shey you don cut my hair before?", he answered on the negative and I told him not to bother.

My only reason was that, looking at him working, he was not confident on the clippers and such persons can add your hair to one of the trials and error cuts and I don't want that. Sometimes, have a convincing approach that you can do something. Be courageous and don't shiver. Own the moment.

If you follow the above rule, your apprenticeship period will be fun and the art of selling your services and goods will be a lot easier.

Most(Not all) Nigerian technicians (Even most Nigerians) are Incompetent.

BUT it is limited.

In Macroeconomics Value added is what's important.
This system lends itself mainly to TRADE (buying/selling) based skills.

The apprenticeship systems that yields more value is a SKILLED + Trade based system. Kind of the type obtainable in GERMANY. Where a Youth is groomed in a choosen skill for 5+ years and grows to be an expert.

We can start from somewhere though.
And this is good.

If you study this system, you'll discover that it is the same. The apprentice groom's the individual around what is obtainable. If you are learning trade involving trading Toyota cars, you'll as well be thought what Toyota cars are made of... this is an all inclusive education

We have advocated that this apprentice system be adopted or if not encouraged by the government. This is a system that is capable of generating employment in the long run where entrepreneurs are adopted in time, schooled purposefully and made to stand on their own while as well making millionaires in the process.
