PoliticsRe: Bandits Attack Igbonla, Kwara In Night Raid, Kidnap Several Residents by AlphaTaikun: 12:27am On Nov 04, 2025
Omooba77:
The source told SaharaReporters that security operatives, including men of the Nigerian Police Force and vigilante groups, had since been deployed to the area to track down the assailants and rescue the victims.

Terrorists, locally dubbed as bandits, have reportedly attacked Igbonla community in the Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, abducting several residents during a late night raid on Sunday.

A source who spoke to SaharaReporters under the condition of anonymity said the gunmen stormed the community around midnight, shooting sporadically to instill fear among residents before whisking away an undisclosed number of people.

“The attack happened on Sunday night. We don’t yet know the exact number of people kidnapped, but several residents were taken away,” the source said.

The incident has caused panic among locals, with many fleeing to nearby villages for safety.

The source told SaharaReporters that security operatives, including men of the Nigerian Police Force and vigilante groups, had since been deployed to the area to track down the assailants and rescue the victims.

As of the time of filing this report, neither the Kwara State Police Command nor the state government has issued an official statement regarding the attack.

The latest incident adds to growing concerns over rising cases of banditry and kidnappings in Kwara South, particularly in rural communities.

Earlier, SaharaReporters reported that motorists in Osi and surrounding communities in the Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State have raised the alarm over alleged extortion by police officers deployed to combat banditry in the region.

The officers, who were reportedly assigned to tackle rising cases of kidnappings and armed attacks in parts of Kwara South, have instead been accused of using their presence to harass and extort money from road users.

In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, police personnel stationed along the Osi–Eruku highway were seen stopping vehicles and demanding money from motorists.

The officers were reportedly operating with an Armoured Personnel Carrier (APC), which was meant to be used for anti-banditry patrols in the area.

In the footage, a visibly frustrated motorist narrated how the policemen had abandoned their core responsibility of securing the region from kidnappers and were instead preying on innocent travellers.

“They are assigned to fight kidnappers, but they are here collecting money from motorists,” the driver lamented.

“There is no day the kidnappers do not kill people in this area. Obo-Aiyegunle is there, Eruku is there — you don’t go there to face the terrorists, but you are here in the city collecting money from people.”

Deprofessional:
The designation of Nigeria as a country of concern is already having a massive effect on Naira.

With numerous sanctions underway in the coming days, Nigeria us most likely heading toward Venezuela experience.

For the wise, start buying as much US Dollars as you can buy to hedge against the value erosion of your financial assets.

Thise who already have USD should not sell.
Experts projected that Naira to USD exchange rate will hit 2500/ USD.

Convert your Naira to USD. Your politicians are already doing so.
There will be NO collective sanctions against Nigeria by the POTUS.

The Naira to USD rate would ALSO NOT hit N2500 per USD.

In reality, the situation would be resolved for the good of ALL as the United States Government would work in sync as a tag team with the Nigerian Government and the Nigerian military forces and intelligence teams to ensure that the menace of the 3 criminal major elements such as the following right BELOW is eliminated from the forests of the North, Middle Belt, and the South of Nigeria.

1] The highly IRRESPONSIBLE foreign Fula militia bandits from other countries in the West African Sahel.

2] The Lakurawa bandits of Tuareg origins of Niger Republic and Mali.

3] The jihadi gangs such as BH which is affiliated to ISWAP, and JNIM jihadi group of Tuareg origins affiliated to Al-Qaeda (but is headquartered in Mali). These last two jihadi gangs are operating right in Nigeria.

Lol. This is better and more effective. Expose them, let their own local people start looking at them with suspicion and plotting for them. Empower their rivals and they will be defeated.
Succinctly stated.

Kwankwaso is actually a minority Fula and NOT part of the majority indigenous Hausa people of Kano State and the North West of Nigeria. His father was the village head or Sarkin Fulani of Kwankwaso in Kano State as revealed by the United States-based academic Farooq Kperogi. When Kwankwaso became the Governor of Kano State, the Hausas accused him of betrayal for making another Fula the Deputy-Governor and other Commissioners in his cabinet too.

With my deep insights about global geopolitical dynamics, other political parties and the APC (which has been trying to woo Kwankwaso) MUST ensure that a Fula doesn't become the new President of Nigeria once the current Nigerian President Tinubu leaves office otherwise the problems caused by the illegal influx of foreign Fula militia from the West African Sahel countries will continue. The Hausas who are the legit indigenous people of ALL the North West Hausa States MUST be empowered to take back their lands and political power from the minority Fulas who have planted themselves as Governors, Commissioners in all the Hausa States! Even Bola Tinubu's Ministers from the North West States unknown to him are all the minority Fulas.

The Hausa males and females too have vowed in viral videos which I have seen myself that they are NOT happy with the cheating by the minority foreign Fulas of Berber paternal ancestry from Morocco and will NOT be voting for Fula politicians again because of the murders of Hausas by Fula bandits over the decades leading to the Fulas even changing Hausa villages to Fula names after the invasions by foreign Fula militia.

The DSS and other Intel agencies have failed in informing President Tinubu about these FACTS and he has to start forging alliances with the real and more dominant Hausas over the minority Fulas. NO single Hausa man has EVER been the President of Nigeria contrary to misleading information out there.

Indeed, I would have responded much earlier BUT my post which you quoted got hit and deleted by this low-budget NL AI spam bot. It had NO overt hate speech in it yet it got deleted. It's an epitome of very ineffectual bot.

I'm glad you quoted my original post on time before it got deleted though.

Back to your question... You have to be careful with some of the results you get from Googling or AI tools BECAUSE some people who are NOT well-informed posted highly misleading information online in the past stating incorrectly that Ganduje is a "Hausa" when he is infact a Fula.

Therefore, Umar Ganduje who speaks fluent Fulfude is a Fula by ancestry and he stated clearly in the past that his paternal and maternal grandparents are Fulanis.

Kano Emirates: I’m more Fulani than noisemakers, says Ganduje

July 16, 2019

KANO State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has described those criticising the four emirates he created as noisemakers.

He said the critcs have no link to Fulani clan.

He said: “I am more Fulani than many of them. Some do not even have any trace to Fulani clan.”

During the creation of Bichi, Rano, Karaye and Gaya Emirates from the then Kano Emirate, there were criticisms from some quarters.

Some critics suggested that Ganduje did that to erode traditional Fulani historical dynasty.

Ganduje, however, maintained that “such individuals, who do not see good in what we did by the creation of more emirates, are mere noisemakers”.

He spoke when the Emir of Rano, Alhaji Tafida Abubakar (Autan Bawo), alongside elders and leaders from the emirate visited him for the role he played before the emergence of Alasan Ado Doguwa as the House of Representatives’ Majority Leader.

Doguwa represents Tudunwada/Doguwa Federal Constituency Kano State. District Head of Sumaila Alhaji Ibrahin Ado Bayero represented the emir.

“None of them can tell me he is more Fulani than I am. My grand grandfathers from both paternal and maternal side were all Fulani. So, also my grand grandmothers from both sides are all Fulani. Who among such people is more Fulani than me?” the governor queried.

I thought as much.

I appreciate your adding more insights into this thread topic. I had earlier mentioned Ogun Waterside as well in one of my posts ABOVE. The British-born Kemi Adeosun's family is from that same Ogun Waterside LGA. The Ijebu indigenes of Ogun Waterside have had cases of kidnappings by Ijaw kidnappers in the past especially during the Goodluck Jonathan years when they became very lawless engaging in illegal oil bunkering and crude oil pipelines vandalisms, several bank robberies in Lagos and Ogun States via the water ways, and armed robberies at Arepo and others parts of the creeks in Lagos, Ogun and Ondo States
until 2016 when former President Muhammadu Buhari ordered Nigerian Air Force reconnaissance planes and jet fighters under the air component of "Operation Awatse" to finally bomb their locations in the creeks of Lagos, Ogun (Arepo) and Ondo States and that led to the end of their heinous crimes via the bombardments. This was immediately after the Ijaw bandits had the audacity to kidnap a First-class Oba of Iba Kingdom in Ojo from his Palace in 2016 and took him away in a speedboat to their creek hideout in Arepo, Ogun State. Akinwunmi Ambode had to appeal to Buhari and he ordered those highly effective airstrikes.

If the Igbosere Beach is to be further developed with the emergence of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway, coastal security MUST be guaranteed to prevent rogues and kidnappers like those Ijaw bandits from largely Delta State and Bayelsa State from causing problems in Ogun Waterside like they did in the past. The welfare of Ijaw youths in Bayelsa, Rivers and Delta States MUST be prioritized as well by their State Governors to prevent potential kidnappers from emerging along the Ijaw section of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway. Thinking ahead is very important to mitigate future problems. Period.

Not all ocean fronts can be a beach.

While I don't know the situation at this particular one, perhaps as a result of the location of Southern Nigeria so close to the equator, the ocean along many parts of our coast can be quite restless.

So while they are beautiful ocean fronts the restless ocean results in a lot of coastal erosion, and the volatility means very few adept swimmers (e.g some Ijaws) can swim in them. They are not suitable for ordinary tourists most times.

The erosion also means the sea eats into the land all the time, so any land within 100 metres may be under water in a few decades.

It can still be developed, but in some parts the developments have to be at least 200m metres inland to be a safe investment.
Well said.

The Ondo State long coastline in the Ilaje area has been eroding for years and I was stunned when in a documentary I saw a few years back, one of the Ilaje-Yoruba residents pointed out from the eroded ocean front to a location far out in the horizons merging with the raging Atlantic Ocean as the location of his original house which disappeared into the Atlantic Ocean.

ONLY the Lagos Atlantic City project scenario can bring back those lost lands in other parts of Lagos State, Ondo State right up to the Bayelsa areas from the sea using advanced dredging equipment used by Chagoury Group.

I've seen fantastic long beaches in the Ondo State area of Ilaje on YouTube. Although the raging Atlantic Ocean is ALSO eroding some beach fronts due to a rise in global sea levels due to climate change.

Is that Igbosere Beach an Atlantic Ocean waterfront or a Lagoon waterfront?

There's a whole lot to see in Nigeria as a leisure traveler. Care MUST be taken to ensure that useless buildings or constructions are not allowed to emerge in that Igbosere Beach ⛱️ area.

The Deployment of Police Personnel around Iyana Oworo was able to deter protesters from gathering and there is free vehicular movement on the third mainland bridge.

The Lagos State Government or any government has the prerogative to take over lands for redevelopment for the benefit of the society. Therefore, compensations MUST be paid promptly to those affected.

This isn't the time for anybody such as Omoyele Sowere to start irresponsibly disrupting vehicular traffic on the 3rd Mainland Bridge which witnesses heavy vehicular movements from the Mainland to the Island(s) as that can lead to loss of income for other business people or disrupt emergency medical services.

I wish all the former residents of Oworonsoki the best as they collect their compensations as reported in the media space online and Lagos State can still do more for them in terms of providing entrepreneurship training and initial funds for the young ones from each of the Oworonsoki families in the areas of aquaculture and the different value chains in the aquaculture ecosystem, green house farming, tech space, mushroom farming, and much more. It's NOT rocket science. People have to learn to be solutions providers when faced with turning points in our lives.

If Trump is gonna get militarily involved, it MUST be in Intel sharing and joint U.S. and Nigeria military operations. United States troops CANNOT unilaterally barge into Nigeria WITHOUT the knowledge of President 'Bola Tinubu's government because the United States and some of her allies contributed to a vast number of the insecurities the world is facing today from the invasion of Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, North Sudan, Somalia back in the 1990s.

Now, there are 3 highly IRRESPONSIBLE groups to attack in Nigeria by Nigerian forces and any joint United States collaboration.

First off, the BH and JNIM jihadi groups.

Second, the foreign Fula militia bandits who have terrorized indigenous Hausa people and other Nigerian ethnic groups and communities since the late 1990s then escalating during the former President Olusegun Obasanjo's government from September 2001 with the illegal renaming of an indigenous Plateau State community into a Fulani name, etc.

Third, the Lakurawa bandits are foreign Tuareg bandits terrorizing the Northern States.

Frankly speaking, somebody should be held accountable for the killings in our beloved country, for good 15yrs,we have been fighting terrorists and not one person is been held for sponsors,
It's MORE than 15 years of fighting these terror groups.

The fight started in the 1980s with the Maitatsine terror sect or group with the leader Muhammed Marwa a Fulani being from Norther Cameroon. Then the Kwanta Kwanta bandits from Chad who terrorized the Borno and Yobe States axis in the late 1980s right into the 2000s, then the foreign Fula militia bandits whose cross illegally into Nigeria via the non-existent borders from the late 1990s till date to wreck havoc on Nigerian indigenous people and communities in Hausaland, Plateau, Benue, Nassarawa, Kwara States, etc, illegally changing indigenous community Hausa and Plateau names to Fula names.

One of the most insidious ever jihadi groups in Nigeria is the ISWAP-affiliated BH which started operating in the early 2000s with bows and arrows, and basic guns killing people in 2006 under former President Olusegun Obasanjo's government in Panshekara in Kano and elsewhere in the North of Nigeria ONLY to get deadlier during the Umaru Yar'Adua Presidency and GEJ Presidency (after Umar Yar'Adua ordered the BH (JAS) to be massively put down by security and their founder Muhammed Yusuf died in the process). BH itself is over close to 28 years now in Nigeria. Northern Nigeria and the foreign neighbors of Chad, Niger, Mali, Northern Cameroon, etc, have been major security problems for Nigeria over many decades tbh.

One of the chieftains of the All Progressive Congress, APC and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has taken to his official X account on Sunday, November 2, 2025 to react after an X user shared an old tweet that he made about the killing of Christians in Nigeria.

The tweet resurfaced online after the President of the United State of America, Donald Trump designated Nigeria as Country of Particular Concern.

In the tweet, Femi Fani-Kayode said that;

"Nigeria has had more Christians murdered, more churches bombed and burnt and more clerics slaughtered than any other country in the world over the last 58 years".

Reacting, Femi Fani-Kayode stated that the tweet was made six years ago. He said things are no longer the same. The former Minister of Aviation said in Nigeria today, more Muslims are being killed than Christians.

He said the killing of Muslims in Nigeria should not be ignored

https://x.com/realFFK/status/1984935134823600138?t=bQNSriab6IoFoxIzR1WUPA&s=19
'Femi Fani-Kayode is very right. Those posting randomly right from Page 1 are irresponsibly posting disinformation.

As a man who is versed in advanced geopolitical dynamics, the larger proportions of communities attacked leading to the loss of lives are majorly Muslim Hausa communities of the North West of Nigeria (Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna North, Sokoto, Kebbi, parts of Kano along the Katsina-Kano borders), etc, and the North East (Borno, Yobe, Adamawa, etc. Same with the large swathe of lands in Niger State from Shiroro to other communities right into Kwara and Kogi States.

Aside from the Edo and Delta States, Northern Enugu State and the Middle Belt States (Southern Kaduna, Plateau, Benue, Nassarawa), where you have a large number of non-Muslims, the recent attacks in Kwara (Yoruba and Nupe LGAs and communities) and Kogi have been largely in Muslim communities although the Okuns (Yorubas of Kogi State are largely non-Muslims) too have been attacked by bandits who crossed from Northern Kwara State.

A full-scale war MUST be declared on the foreign Fula militia bandits, the Lakurawa (Tuareg bandits) and the BH and JNIM jihadi terror groups of Kanuri and Tuareg origins respectively, with United States Intel and weapons in joint operations. The neighboring countries near Nigeria too are contributing to the insecurities in Nigeria with the influx of criminal elements from those countries such a as Chad, Niger Republic, Mali, Northern Cameroon, Burkina Faso and as far as Mauritania. The foreign Fulas and Tuaregs are in particular the major culprits here.

Succinctly put.

I'm on the same page with you like I also rightly stated on this thread. The real enemies of Nigeria since the 1980s through to the 1990s are the so-called foreign neighbors who created breeding grounds for the spread of illicit weapons into Nigeria and the illegal crossing of terror groups into Nigeria. We had the "Kwanta Kwanta" gang from Chad who operated freely back during the military era in the late 1980s right into the 1990s and 2000s robbing luxury buses, trucks, vehicles and kidnappings people and raping women on the expressways leading to Maiduguri and other places in the Old Borno State.

Banditry in modern times resurfaced in the late 1980s with these foreign Chadians followed by the invasion of foreign Fula militia bandits in the late 1990s till date into Hausaland to kidnap, rob, r*pe, and dispose the indigenous majority Hausas and Middle Belt of Nigeria folks off their ancestral homelands while renaming those communities with Fula names.

fergie001:
The Government of Chad has announced the immediate closure of its border with Nigeria, citing security concerns following reports of alleged U.S. military plans in West Africa.

Military sources in N’Djamena confirmed on Monday that President Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno ordered a complete military lockdown along the Nigerian border after intelligence suggested that terrorist elements from northern Nigeria were preparing to flee into Chadian territory.

According to the sources, the Chadian army has been placed on full alert, with troops and armoured vehicles deployed across key border corridors linking the two countries.

The president was quoted as warning that “no armed group or foreign force will be allowed to enter Chadian soil under any disguise.”

The move comes amid heightened regional tension and growing speculation over America’s alleged military activities in parts of West Africa.

Security analysts said the closure was a preventive measure aimed at safeguarding Chadian sovereignty and preventing possible infiltration by armed groups exploiting regional instability.

US President Donald Trump on Sunday repeated his threat of a military operation in Nigeria over killings of Christians, after the Nigerian presidency suggested a meeting to resolve the issue.

Asked by reporters aboard Air Force One if he was considering US troops on the ground in Nigeria or air strikes, Trump replied: “Could be, I mean, a lot of things — I envisage a lot of things.”

“They’re killing the Christians and killing them in very large numbers.
We’re not going to allow that to happen,” he added.

In an explosive post on his Truth Social platform on Saturday, Trump said that he asked the Pentagon to map out a possible plan of attack in Nigeria, one day after warning that Christianity was “facing an existential threat” in Africa’s most populous country.

In his post, Trump said that if Nigeria does not stem the killings, the United States will attack and “it will be fast, vicious, and sweet, just like the terrorist thugs attack our CHERISHED Christians.”

Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s spokesman Daniel Bwala told AFP on Sunday that “Nigeria is US’s partner in the global fight against terrorism. When leaders meet there would be better outcomes.”

“Nigeria welcomes US support to fight terrorism as long as it respects our territorial integrity,” he said.

“We do not see the (Trump’s social media post) in the literal sense,” he said.

“We know that Donald Trump has his own style of communication,” he said, suggesting the post was a way to “force a sit-down between the two leaders so they can iron out a common front to fight their insecurity.”

Earlier Bwala had suggested in a post on X that the two leaders could meet soon.
“As for the differences as to whether terrorists in Nigeria target only Christians or in fact all faiths and no faiths, the differences if they exist, would be discussed and resolved by the two leaders when they meet in the coming days, either in State House or White House.”

Bwala, who was speaking on the phone from Washington, declined to disclose details of any potential meeting.

Trump posted on Friday that “thousands of Christians are being killed (and) Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass slaughter.”

Nigeria has denied that Christians have been targeted by jihadist attacks more than other faiths.

“The characterisation of Nigeria as religiously intolerant does not reflect our national reality,” Tinubu said on social media Saturday.
https://www.channelstv.com/2025/11/03/ground-operation-air-strikes-could-be-part-of-us-attack-in-nigeria-trump/
FIRST off, there is the BH (of North East of Nigeria) and the JNIM (terror groups from Mali menace).

Second, there is the very insidious foreign Fula bandits menace since the late 1990s leading to former President Obasanjo in 2009 raising an alarm about a "Fulanisation and Islamization" agenda in Nigeria and Africa. In 2014 when Goodluck Jonathan was the President, the foreign Fula militia bandits operating in Nigeria and the Sahelian countries of West Africa was declared the 4th deadliest terror group on Earth.

Third, there is the Lakurawa bandits (of Tuareg origin) menace.

Which of these groups ABOVE is Donald Trump specifically gonna target with airstrikes and ground forces? He has to get his FACTS right and NOT simplistically look at the issue. REAL focus MUST be on getting rid of all of these terror groups who ALSO come illegally from neighboring Sahelian countries and it MUST be done in partnership with Nigerian Goverment of President 'Bola Tinubu, the intelligence agencies and the ENTIRE gamut of the Nigerian military forces WITHOUT emasculating Nigeria because the United States is NOT blameless in all this. The fall of Muamar Gaddafi of Libya led to the proliferation of weapons and jihadi wars in Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Chad, Nigeria, etc, by Islamists.

Enough of the Fula banditry which has been on since the 1990s. A US and Nigeria military tag team is what is urgently needed here to defeat the bandits hiding in the forests around Nigeria.

Ajayi is the SSA to President Tinubu on Media & Publicity

There is a Sahara Reporters story that President Tinubu is going to the US on Tuesday to see US Vice President J.D Vance. That story is not true. I can see that the fake news by Sahara has become the basis for some uninformed commentaries since yesterday. If President Tinubu is going to the White House, he won't be going to see a Vice President.

Omoyele MUST stop this IRRESPONSIBLE attitude of wanting to be the first to break the news and do proper fact-checks and due diligence? The Presidency media team are the final sources of information on the Presidents movements.

The minority foreign Fula bandits attacks on indigenous Nigerian communities have been on from the late 1990s till date due to the porous borders so it didn't even start during the GEJ or Buhari or Tinubu Presidencies.

The earlier Omoyele Sowere and those PG publishers including the paid ipob trolls who spread massive disinformation online to destabilize Nigeria as reported by an investigative BBC Global Disinformation Team report in 2022, are reigned in by the intelligence agencies, the BETTER for Nigeria. Omoyele Sowere has been pampered a lot by Tinubu who is being a Mr. Nice guy and a democrat. That's NOT how governance works. Lee Kuan Yew who a lot of people ignorantly like to mouth about NEVER took such insolence as the leader of Singapore because he was a benevolent-dictator.

That's what Soludo was talking about on the other thread I quoted earlier. These bandits just attack indiscriminately regardless of your faith or ethnicity. It's time to rejig and decentralize the security architecture. Period.

Bump.

This article by Farook Kperogi confirms that Rabiu Kwankwaso is indeed a Fulani NOT a Hausa by ethnicity... Sarkin Fulani Kwankwaso meaning the king of Fulanis of Kwankwaso. However, Tinubu MUST ensure the Presidential election cycle after him doesn't hand over to a Fula ethnic minority group because the killings of difference Nigerian ethnic groups would continue .

Unfortunately, she came with a baggage : Fibroid
Damn!

Fibroid... That's too much baggage in addition to the lie that she told about her real age tbh. While the husband would have been expecting a child within the FIRST two years of marriage, the so-called wife just misled him. In any event, there are now ways of shrinking fibroid WITHOUT surgery using different specialized supplements. It's the same with prostrate enlargement in us men (which can now be gradually shrunk without surgery using specialized supplements with saw palmetto as an active ingredient).

CrimeRe: NDLEA Busts Colos laboratory In Lagos, Intercepts loud Consignments (Pics) by AlphaTaikun:
nairalandkachy1:
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have uncovered a clandestine laboratory where Colorado, a synthetic strain of cannabis is being produced in a residential building located at Ajao estate, Isolo Lagos with large quantities of freshly cooked Colos and various precursor chemicals for drug production recovered and the 30-year-old lab owner, Stephen Kelechi Imoh arrested.

The discovery followed months of intelligence gathering on possible Colos laboratories in Lagos after NDLEA officers intercepted consignments of freshly produced Colos in March and May 2025 in the state, a development that suggested that the dangerous psychoactive substance, which was hitherto imported into the country, was now locally produced.

The effort paid off on Thursday 30th October 2025 when NDLEA officers raided the residential apartment in Ajao estate, Isolo Lagos which Kelechi converted to a laboratory for cooking Colos, a strain of cannabis produced with the psychoactive plant and various chemicals. Recovered from the apartment include: freshly cooked Colos weighing 16.2 kilograms; ADB-CHMNACA Cannabinol -1.7kg; Potassium Carbonate -4.5kg and Dibromobutane - 91 litres.

In another operation in Lagos, NDLEA operatives on Saturday 1st November raided the enclave of a 28-year-old drug dealer Afeez Salisu (alias Malu) in Mushin where 16 compressed blocks of Ghana Loud, a strain of cannabis as well as designer sachets and bottles of Colorado weighing 16.4kg were recovered from him.

A music artist Godspower George Osahenrumwen whose stage name is Steady Boy was on Thursday 30th October arrested by NDLEA operatives while attempting to take delivery of a large consignment of Loud, a strain of cannabis concealed inside three cartons of bathtub imported along with other items such as cloths and gadgets from New York, United States. This followed the seizure of the shipment which arrived the import shed of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Ikeja Lagos from US aboard a DHL flight on Tuesday 28th October.

The 20-year-old music artist was nabbed at Bougain Villa, Primewater Gardens 2, Freedom way, Lekki Lagos when he showed up as the consignee to take delivery of the 140 bags of Loud with a gross weight of 77.20kg on behalf of a syndicate, which includes his manager, Zion Osazee Omigie (a.k.a Zee Money) who is currently at large.

In Kaduna, NDLEA operatives on patrol along Abuja - Jos highway on Sunday 26th October intercepted a consignment of 84,710 capsules of tramadol coming from Onitsha, Anambra state and heading to Bauchi. A follow up operation in Bauchi led to the arrest of the recipient Musa Abdulkarim, 27. Two days later, Tuesday 28th October, operatives at the tollgate along Abuja - Kaduna highway arrested Hamza Musa, 47, conveying 32, 946 bottles
of Akuskura, a New Psychoactive Substance (NPS) from Lagos, while Saidu Nafiu, 30, was nabbed with 131.5kg skunk at Kamfanin Zangon Aya, Igabi LGA, Kaduna.

PoliticsRe: Christian Killings: Tinubu & Trump Will meet soon To Resolve This Issue - Bwala by AlphaTaikun: 4:43pm On Nov 02, 2025
monex:
US & Trump would not resolve anything as they don't understand the issue. I am not in the north but from some discussions with northern Muslims and middle belt Christians. The issue is twofold:

(1) Extremist Islamist with strong affiliation to well-known cross border terrorist entities. These ones are ideological and will kill both Christians and perceived "liberal" Muslims

(2) Fulani herdsmen. The attacks are mostly on middle belt farming communities, and this issue is tribal with no religious undertone. Unfortunately, the majority victims of this one are Christians, but this is in no way linked to (1)

(1) and (2) have been combined in a wrong tagging of Christian genocide because the attackers in (1) and (2) are Muslims whereas only (1) kills from a place of extremist religious ideology
.
Succinctly stated.
