Don't threaten the President of Nigeria - Abati cautions Oseni

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYCcaucqdJw

Reuben Abati cautions Rufai Oseni for going after Tinubu on a live TV program
If Rufai was indeed threatening the Nigerian President OR anybody on live television then he deserves to be cautioned or reminded to slow down by his senior colleague(s). He may have been gently cautioned in private in the past BUT he is just NOT having self-awareness of his rude or narcissistic actions

Rufai Oseni is well known to have a very brusque and volatile temper even when he was on live radio as an OAP, he talked disrespectfully to some phone callers (and he claimed to be an devoted Xtian) yet impatience and a very volatile temper was what defined him. I think he has a deep personality and psychological problem from childhood and this is why he uses anger indiscriminately sometimes. I wasn't a big fan of Rufai because of his rude and brusque behavior of talking to some callers on the radio program he anchored as an OAP.

The Nigerian regulatory body overseeing electronic outlets can easily fine Arise Television for some millions of Naira over any threats or hate speech on live TV. There's NO absolute freedom anywhere.

True that.

Nanotechnology can be used for a vast array of solutions from agriculture to medicine, to security (including eliminating the insidious Islamist terror groups and more under special covert operations that I wouldn't want to reveal fully here). Nigeria had to wake up to save cost on counter insurgency and security matters.

Pakute:
https://dailypost.ng/2025/10/31/2027-why-jonathan-cant-run-for-president-appeal-court-ex-president-salami/
Justice Ayo Salami is absolutely correct.
Under the law, the Yar'Adua Presidency and Goodluck Jonathan Presidency are 1. Therefore Jonathan completed the remaining 2 years tenure of Yar'Adua and won a FULL 4-year term making a total of 6 years.

He is therefore NOT eligible to contest for the 2027 Presidential election. If GEJ had won the 2015 elections, he would have been challenged in court by Buhari and told by the Appeal Court and then affirmed by the Supreme Court to vacate office.

It's most shameful that a lot of the young posters on this thread right from Page 1 show a complete lack of comprehension of the very CLEAR English language used in Justice Ayo Salami's article and these clueless posters are far WORSE than the political leaders they blindly criticize (which further shows that it's a large part of the followers or bigots among the electorate in Nigeria that are the MAJOR problems of that country) leading to a lack of development. Only self-awareness will solve this human capacity problem.

The Lebanese community in Nigeria and their embassy have to step right in with the Police to ensure that arrests are made and she and her 6 children are safe and their total welfare is NOT affected.

I've NEVER seen this kind of situation in my life where a Lebanese allegedly accepts $1 million to divorce his Lebanese wife and transfer his 4 biological to a so-called rich Fulani oil entrepreneur named Aliyu Abubakar. Was the Lebanese guy hexed or under a spell or is that part of Lebanese culture?

LocalFARMERS:
Nigerian Farmers Are In Trouble: See 2000 Naira Yam In Kaduna

It is no longer news that price of food stuffs has come down to some extent. This is good news to the consumers and bad news to farmers. This price drop is as a result of importation of food stuffs.

This present Government gave improvers the green light to import food stuffs into the Country with zero tax. This has affected Nigerian farmers who invested millions to farm. Nigerian farmers this year will not be able to make 50% of their investments in farming this year.

As a farmer. Whenever I am transporting myself and workers to the farm, I spend 18k on fuel my vehicle. Buy food for my workers. Fertilizer is between 55k to 70k per bag. Herbicide chemical is from 5k to 15k. To rent a tractor for five days will cost over a million. Plus the risk of going to the farm as Kidnappers and armed robbers are everywhere.

After spending all this money and risk taken, you still can't recover the amount you invested.

The best way to bring down the price of food stuffs is by reducing the prices of Fertilizer, Seedlings, Herbicide chemicals, Tractor services and fuel. When this is achieved, prices of food will come down naturally.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0CwxibpDlQ
But right in this same 2025, big time Birnin Gwari farmers in Kaduna State say they are individually making billions of Naira from their bumper harvests due to the improved security and farming implements provided by the FG and Kaduna State Governor. There is a 2025 video which is still online from Journalists Hangout on TVC where many of the farmers were interviewed and they praised the Kaduna State Governor and the Federal Government for the improvement in food production in Birnin Gwari.

Yobe State farmers too are churning out bumper harvests and food prices have dropped in Yobe because of that with low inflation as of the last report I saw in a recent video report.
This is due to the FACT that the Yobe State Governor gave out free tractors to the farmers to use with other farming implements.

All the State Governors of have to do the same thing the Yobe and Kaduna State Governors have done for some of their farmers. The State Governors have more monthly allocations up from N4 billion per month to N11 billion per month on average so they should spend more money on agriculture to crash the price of food to a level where the farmers would earn enough profits for their farm produce while the consumers will NOT be ripped off by paying too high. Most of the State Governors and their Agric Commissioners are NOT serious people and the leading cause of high food costs is insecurity and high cost of transportation and production in the various States of Nigeria from what I have gleaned. Everyone is WRONGLY blaming the Federal Government and the Nigerian President Tinubu but it's the States that MUST take the lead in food production. Again, the Southern States of Nigeria need to CLEAR up more forests so that there will be more land for arable farming in Oyo and Cross River States for instance which are the two largest States in Southern Nigeria with Oyo State being the largest followed by Cross River.

Lagos State is already working on a plan to reduce food costs by 50% with the Commissioner for Agriculture Ms Abisola Olusanya in charge to remove the inneficiences and food hoardings caused by middle men so that the consumers can buy directly from the farmers in Agric Food Hubs which are already functioning in different parts of Lagos State. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu ALSO launched 150 CNG-FUELED 40-feet food haulage trucks to enable food in Lagos to drop. The Epe Central Agro Food Hub has to be completed because it is 5 months behind schedule for launch as promised by the Lagos State Commissioner of Agriculture.

So here is a quick and delicious breakfast recipe that I prepared recently. Tasty, yummy pancakes but made with beans and not the regular flour. It's a great breakfast idea that you can try out this weekend.

It can be made with very little oil, only one tablespoon per pancake. So no need to worry cos it won't guzzle your oil like akara or puff puff cheesy

See details below.

2 cups of Beans (tinned milk cup)

There is need for more Nigerians to go into Pig Farming. The Market to sell Pigs are readily available in all parts of this Country. So many People love Pork meat.

However, it is recently discovered that, the Chinese expatriates in Nigeria are the major consumers of Pork meat. They also buy their Pigs with more monitory value.

There are Mordern Pig Farming that can have less or zero smell when done the right way. Pigs are easy to train. They produce in large numbers. Female Pigs get pregnant two to three times in a year. And when a female Pig birth her Piglets, She birth between 6 to 12 piglets.

This means, within two years, your female Pig can reproduce between 30 to 84 Pigs. Adults Pigs are sold between 100k to 550k. This depends on the size and weight

They were classified as dirty in the past when allowed to roam free. Since pigs eat almost anything, they dug into graves and consumed corpses. Today, pigs are raised in industrial farms. They eat only what farmers provide.
There are pros and cons to eating pork, cow meat or any other red meat source. I would rather stick to my usual white meat sources such as chicken, turkey meat and fish for now. In a worse case scenario, I would ONLY taste pork meat if there's certainty that it's from an industrial pig farm.

A pig raised in a concrete pen using selected agricultural feed can never get parasites. Where them wan from come? As for dirt, they play in mud to cool off. That is all. Africans dump refuse anywhere. It is a sorry case that most sites rife with mud also house refuse. Oh, it’s science. The garbage shields the ground from the sun, thus allowing it absorb moisture which leads to soft, almost clay-like texture.

I have always maintained that no tribe can match the business and trading prowess of Ijebus and their business is always legit.

If they are from Anambra the shout of money na water and Anambra billionaire will be everywhere
Indeed, Ijebu folks who are indigenous to Lagos and Ogun States love to have fun as-and-when due BUT DON'T personally make a noise about their super-wealthy status as international businessmen and businesswomen or as successful professionals.

It's NOT strange at all that the legit Forbes-listed and Bloomberg Billionaires Index-listed USD billionaires of Yoruba origin from Nigeria are 5 famous Ijebus named right BELOW:

Otunba Mike Adenuga from Ogun State, 'Femi Otedola from Epe in Lagos State, Nigerian-American Adebayo "Bayo" Ogunlesi (originally from Sagamu, Ogun State), Tope Awotona of Calendly and Folorunso Alakija from Ikorodu in Lagos State. The Ondo folks of Ondo City and Ijesas ALSO have their super-wealthy folks as well. INFACT all subgroups of the Yorubas such as the Egbas, Ekitis, Igbominas, Ibadan, etc, have extremely wealthy individuals living in various major cities in Nigeria and in the Diaspora.

If I were the President or anyone close to him I'd advise he mellow down on these policies that appear good on paper but inflicts suffering on the masses. These coup plotters are just few among millions not satisfied with the state of hunger and insecurity in the country. Fighting insecurity starts with fighting hunger as hungry people are highly vulnerable recruits into terror and criminal gangs.
Succinctly stated.

More CNG fuel infrastructure MUST be deployed around Nigeria to make the cheaper CNG fuel available to crash the price of all food items and transportation urgently so that these insidious 5th columnists don't use that as an excuse to foist military dictators with criminal backgrounds on Nigeria. The cost of living has to drop and this is why President 'Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has been saying that he has given more money to the Nigerian States from N4 billion monthly to N11 billion monthly per State oñ average which is huge!
The crashing of food prices via increased agriculture and cutting off of the middle men is within the purview of all the State Governors. This is what the Yobe and Niger State Governors have done to crash the price of food and reduce inflation rate to near 1 digit.
All the State Governors MUST be told to wake up and do the needful.

Lagos State too has launched 150 CNG-FUELED food haulage trucks for the Lagos Food Hub program to crash the price of food by 50% of the current value through the Commissioner for Agriculture Ms Abisola Olusanya.

As for States creations, I think boundary adjustments can be made so that ethnically contiguous groups can be in 1 single State of their own. For example, the Yoruba towns of Kogi State and Kwara State (12 of the 16 LGAs of Kwara are indigenous to Yorubas) right up to Jebba on the banks of the River Niger can be merged to form a single State. Then the Nupes who are indigenous to 2 out of the 16 LGAs in Kwara State can be merged with Niger State or create a new Nupe State for them.

Other ethnic groups of Nigeria can undergo the same boundary adjustments to bring about more harmony.

Honour in Service, Dignity in Retirement: Major General Raymond Ochei’s Journey Through the Ranks

By Emeka Esogbue

After more than three decades of distinguished service to the Nigerian Army, Major General Raymond Nkemakonam Ochei has gracefully bowed out of active duty, leaving behind a legacy defined by discipline, professionalism, and integrity. From his early days as a young cadet at the Nigerian Defence Academy to his rise as one of the Army’s most accomplished finance and administrative officers, Ochei’s career stands as a model of commitment, excellence, and leadership. His retirement marks not just the close of a remarkable military chapter but also the beginning of a new phase devoted to mentorship, community service, and the preservation of Anioma heritage.

Born into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Maxwell Ochei, Raymond Nkemakonam Ochei hails from Ogbekenu, Onicha-Olona, in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He attended St. Pius College, Onicha-Ugbo, before proceeding to the Nigerian Defence Academy, where he was commissioned as a member of the 40th Regular Combatant Course. His academic pursuit has been both extensive and exceptional: a B.Sc. in Economics from the NDA, M.Sc. in Economics from Ambrose Alli University, MBA from Lead City University, Ph.D. in Forensic Accounting and Audit from Charisma University, and another Ph.D. in Public Administration from Babcock University. Major General Ochei (Retd) is widely regarded as one of the most intellectually accomplished officers of his generation — a man whose depth of experience and scholarly insight complement his distinguished military service.

Held in high esteem by his Anioma people, Major General Ochei returns home with honour, his head held high, welcomed with open arms by a grateful community that celebrates him as a symbol of service, sacrifice, and success. Across Anioma land, tributes continue to pour in, describing his retirement as the close of an era and his career as a journey marked by uncommon dedication and integrity. Indeed, Major General Raymond Ochei marches home in honour.

Married to Dr. Doris Amaka Ochei, the family’s strong bond with the Anioma community has been demonstrated through numerous acts of philanthropy and empowerment. Through the DAO Foundation, founded by Dr. Doris Ochei, they have consistently reached out to the underprivileged, supporting education, healthcare, and community development across Anioma. In Onicha-Olona, the DAO Foundation rebuilt the community’s major market into a state-of-the-art facility, later commissioned by Omu Martha Dunkwu, the late Omu of Anioma and empowering traders with monetary support. Together, the Ocheis embody the ideals of compassion, cultural pride, and social responsibility.

Major General Ochei’s pledge to support the Organization for the Advancement of Anioma Culture (OFAAC), the cultural umbrella of the Anioma people underscores his enduring commitment to youth development and heritage preservation. His contributions to community upliftment and advocacy for cultural continuity have made him a respected name within Anioma and beyond. To many, he represents a bridge between military service, professional discipline, and grassroots leadership — a contemporary model of how officers can blend national duty with local relevance. For historians of the Nigerian military, Ochei’s story offers a valuable case study in balancing service to the nation with loyalty to one’s roots.

As he takes his final march home, Major General Raymond Nkemakonam Ochei leaves behind not only the medals and ranks of a soldier but also the enduring respect of a people. His life’s story is a reminder that a true officer serves rather than rules, protects rather than oppresses, and uplifts rather than subdues. This is the story of a man whose journey through the ranks of the Nigerian Army has been defined by honour, a story now celebrated by his people, unprompted, genuine, and free of controversy.
Impressive timelines about the handsome and brilliant Major-General Ochei of Ogbekenu in Onicha Olona.

I remember reading about an Ogbekenu quarters in Onicha Ugbo in the same Aniocha North LGA vicinity as well where Olukumi folks from the towns of Ugbodu and Eko Efun (or Ukwunzu) migrated to and settled in.
