bestofnollywood:The multibillion USD bitumen belt of Nigeria with the second largest bitumen deposit on Earth after Canada. The value of the entire Nigeria bitumen reserves is far larger than that of the entire crude oil reserves in Nigeria. |

Nemere2020:If this is true then Wale Edun will get well soon. There are advanced treatments for this ailment and even if he doesn't return as the Finance Minister, he'll be able to retire in peace and embark on leisure travel as well. |

HisaacPlus:Indeed... That's the photograph of the legendary, well-educated, Victorian-era icon of Yoruba descent, John Otunba Payne. He died in 1906, long before the Northern Protectorate and Southern Protectorate of Nigeria were merged or amalgamated together in 1914. #Respects |

Maxymilliano:Impressive insights, but more still has to be done for those folks on the street level who will be the ones to vote in any future elections. They will make or mar the re-election of the current Nigerian President 'Bola Tinubu and the Governors if they don't crash the cost of living. |
ThroneNGamez:This is old news. Folasade Ojo would have learned her lessons by now about reading up on other cultures before taking action. It's clear she was totally ignorant about Benin customs and traditions which share some similarities with Yorubaland BUT also has major differences otherwise she wouldn't have gone ahead to do that so-called installation ceremony of a market woman leader in Benin. She should sit down in Lagos Island and Lagos State and be their Iyaoloja-General and NOT even extend her Iyaoloja-General to other Yoruba States as each State is distinct in terms of the appointments of Iyaolojas and Babaolojas by any Yoruba Oba. Period. |

yns4real:The BEST way to win in the next Presidential elections cycle convincing would be for the Nigerian President and the Governors to crash the cost of living in terms of food, medicine, transportation and much more for those folks in Nigeria. The use and massive deployment of CNG would radically make people vote for his political party so that he can ensure the completion of his administration's legacy projects such a as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway construction which which is to last for 8 years and more. If a new government replaces him, they will discontinue that construction work just to spite him. Stability in governance is key to sustainable development in any country. |

Seun:Look @Seun, while you're doing a good job in tweeking the UX of this discussion forum, you have to get all your "politics section moderators" and majorly the NL super moderators to be more serious, give them a warning and ensure they individually BAN those paid trolls and monikers who deliberately insult and call President Tinubu a drug baron or drug lord. Tinubu was NEVER charged in in the United States I. 1993 as a drug baron BUT only forfeited $460,000 to the U.S. government due to the backlog of unpaid taxes on his bank accounts. It was a civil suit, NOT a criminal suit. The remaining money in his 8 United States bank accounts were returned to him out of the $1.8 million he originally had in those bank accounts. It's a total shameful and annoying that a discussion forum that was founded by a person from the SW of Nigeria has been allowed to be hijacked by well known bigots and monikers with ipob affiliations to openly insult a whole Nigerian President under the nose of your super moderators who repeatedly see these defamatory posts pushed to the Nairaland front page. I've informed you about this in the past when you requested for feedback from us but NO actions were taken. If Nigeria were to currently be under let's say an Ibo President and NL an Ibo-owned website, this would never be tolerated under the admins of those sites and they would have reported anyone engaging in these kinds of relentless highly defamation to the DSS for prosecution. The intention of these paid trolls is to damage and destroy President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's name by relentlessly repeating the lies over and over again so that their own ethnic candidate can win elections. President Bola Tinubu has NEVER been convicted for being a drug baron or drug lord but your NL moderation bot CANNOT even detect these infractions. Therefore your super moderators have to physically ban for at least 5 years those who deliberately spread toxic disinformation here on NL as part of their disinformation agenda in order to destabilize Nigeria and the international media have also done news reports about the agenda of these secessionist gangs to use hate speech and disinformation to cause war and destabilize Nigeria. NL is one of those Websites they are currently using. Best of luck. |
