and I will advice you not to breed pit bulls as a starter because breeding it involves technics and firm stronghold.and as it grows there is a high tendency it will attack family members and owners,thus,a ban was placed on the breed in some states in the UK AND U.S.
and a pup will be a good idea to start with and not a full grown.
I own a female Neapolitan Mastiff breed, though very ugly with folds when fully grown but its a great family dog and calm.
though breeding a pup is a lot of stress and its brings a good return when the litter starts arriving as a pup goes between 1000-3000 dollars.
one last advise, go for full breed species instead of half breed...ie. you don't want your rott to be looking like an alsatian when its all grown. etc

Chief Rita Lori-Ogbebor, the Igba of Warri, has rejected the Christmas gifts sent to her by Delta State Government.
