Whatever anybody thinks about the role of nnamdi kanu in the ongoing campaign his business, we should stop begging any idiot to understand, if they like they can buy into the plot to divide the, they will live to suffer it. Ndigbo and Biafrans in general already know who their enemies are and we shall continue to defend ourselves against their evil plans till biafra comes.

Factually do you have aa shred of evidence to back this claim?

It simply is not true. Many people may have CLAIMED they opened accounts. Have you got evidence of those who had papers and were denied

More importantly what you fail to tell us is assuming your claim is true what happened to the money.

Was their ever any legislation empowering government to take such money or did the banks benefit

Were Ikwerres affected ? Why not how not?

What about so called DElta Igbos?

Surely such a decree or law must have been gazetted
Surely it must have made it into ONE NEWSPAPER article somewhere ?

What was the size of Bank deposits in Nigeria in total. Surely there must be some evidence of something.

Did the Nigerian government confiscate the money? By decree or what mechanism?

Our laws are not secret!!
The banks were not government owned in fact one was British and the other partly British. They could not hand over money without a decree or gazette
what do you need legislation for?, as if Nigeria works with it, were there no international legislations prohibiting soldiers from attacking civilian concentration? was there no legislation mandating the implementation of the 3Rs,? mind you, my father was a victim of the wicked awo policies that tormented awo till he drank Otapiapia and died.

Nnamdi KANU is taking this too far,
After watching the Owerri video today with soldiers I was very unsettled.

It's a very thing line between bravery and insanity.
He should not dare armed soldiers and policemen please!!!

He tried it in Ebonyi,
He's done it again in IMO
He might not be so lucky.

I commend the young soldier who restrained himself despite the taunts and abuses.
Nnamdi KANU, please, please stop courting trouble.
The IPOB crowd can even be infiltrated and they will disturb the peace with soldiers who will be left with no option than to defend themselves.

Long life Biafra.
what are you saying? what are the soldiers doing trying to disturb the very peaceful gathering, is there any record of violence in his activities so far?. I am not against the police staying around but why always make attempts to block his way.

not one of us ,not one urhobo man or whatever they are called ,not one bloody Niger deltan deserves to criticise nnamdi kanu's biafran struggle. At least he spoke for his people ,he went to jail for his beliefs and people,he is still fighting for his people. But where are the Niger deltan "criminal"activists, how many of them went to jail for their people, how many of them are as bold as nnamdi kanu.I may not support his beliefs but I will respect him till eternity.
What have we benefited from Nigeria as a united country, absolutely nothing, instead our lands get polluted day after day ,80% of oil blocks are owned by northerners not even us,we have been busy fighting ourselves foolishly, very few of us own oil blocks ,we had the presidential power we bleeped up big time.
If there is any set of people that should be fighting for self governance it is not even the igbos, but the Niger deltans for too long our people have suffered ,we have been defrauded by several leaders even by our own elites in the Niger delta.we need to start voting for a different kind of people who will lead us not the same vagabonds over and over ,sometimes I wonder don't our stupidity ever stop.
being in Nigeria is of no benefit to us ,why should you be in a country that doesn't allow you control your destiny .it is time for our people to wake up and be accountable for everything wrong that has gone wrong in our land.
With your mindset, Niger delta would have to suffer for many many years to come, you have not even accepted your own brothers, your identity(Biafra). You want people to start begging you or try to convince you to stop denying your identity, well thank God you do not represent the Opinion of the vast majority of Niger deltans who are Biafrans.

omenka:
Saraki, right from the very day he assumed that position, has done absolutely nothing but constituted himself into a clog in the wheel of progress of this administration.

I have no idea the kind of deal that was struck between the so called cabal and himself that lead the CCT to declaring him innocent. But with this report, one doesn't need a soothsayer to tell them he is now fulfilling his own end of the agreement.

When the bow breaks and the cradle falls, we the people always seem to be the subjects holding the hotter end of the rod. It is so unfortunate the country has become so polarised along ethnic and religious lines that any intended mass action as was witnessed in 2010 would be nearly impossible!

Osinbajo needs to man up and begin to assert himself. Even if we can't have a consensus we can at least build enough support across the divides to ensure the baying vultures get our message.

I've got this queer feeling the President isn't even aware what is going on between the various power blocks in his admin.
This is very deserving of Yoruba's, they brought this upon themselves out of hatred for Ndigbo so enjoy it, after all you voted Buhari and saraki into power.

joeyfire:
Copied from the facebook wall of an exceptional yoruba son.

I envy and admire the resume of Ag. President,
Osinbajo, thus, i advise him to thread softly with
Saraki and the Northern cabal.
He should not play into the hands of the cabal
and the northern oligarchy.
He should face the reality and stop following
emotion.

He should not allow empty barrels who will dump
him immediately he's out of office to push him
against those mightier than him in the game of
power-politics.

Any day, anytime, the Northerners will support
Saraki against Osinbajo.

The South South and South East will support
Saraki.
However, the Yoruba nation is disunited.
Contrary to the acidic and caterkerous reactions
on social media, the major security formations
such as the Army, Police, DSS, etc are with Saraki
and the Northern cabal.
Saraki, to me, did nothing wrong yesterday. He's
just not in good terms with those in charge of the
Media.

Assuming but not conceding that Saraki planned
what happened yesterday in the Senate, he would
have carried the day if committed to voting but
he overruled his colleagues.
Politically, Saraki is a master. He sets targets and
he has never missed his targets. For Now, he is
on top and we should respect his smartness.
Saraki retired his father from politics. He
relegated Asiwaju Bola Tinubu from National
Leader of APC to Lagos Leader of APC.
Saraki has pocketed APC structure in Abuja. The
National Chairman, National Secretary and
National Publicity Secretary of APC now report to
Saraki, yet you think the man from Kwara is a
fool.?

Today, all the waring rebels in the senate are with
Saraki, including Tinubu's wife, Oluremi.
The DG of DSS and the IG of Police now close
their duties everyday in Saraki's house.
One thing that is so sure to me is that if Osinbajo
decide to fight Saraki, the VP will be humiliated
and the Yoruba opinion shapers will trade him
(Osinbajo) the way they traded Abiola.
I wish Prof. Yemi Osinbajo divine wisdom,
knowledge and understanding to manage the
current situation in Nigeria. Cheers.
OGA!, of all you said, I am more concerned about where you mentioned SE&SS and how they will vote saraki in 2019, it gets to show that you don't have the full grasp of the prevalent mood in these areas, we are going to shock and shake Nigeria till it collapses. Anambra will be just a microcosm of what is to come in 2019.

When MASSOB became more audible in fegge, there is a place called NWANGENE (Dust bin Area), some part where been cleared, we thought it was for development, guess what, some of our friends we once knew began to build Shanties (as MASSOB police station along creek road fegge). If you and your neighbor had issues, you will prefer to be reported to police instead of MASSOB. Police feared them including the Igbos too because of theft, brutality and other kinds of social vices in broad day light.
In 2014 before I went for NYSC, where I was working (Loading scrap metal into Lorries) in Uga street for OGA GEB (A.K.A ELU ELU), I saw my far far junior in school (Obum-neme) have become a ‘commander’ in MASSOB, they came close to our trailer, requested for money, searched us (everyone including their igbo counterpart) collected our belongings and left. OGA GEB cried and wailed, he had to employ one of them (EBUKA) to be guarding us when working and he smokes Indian hemp in the public and still collect N5000.
That doesn’t stopped it completely, different sect will come and fight, claim territory and left.
At a point the problem was not even with the Northerners again, it was with themselves, we just sat down and keep praying for peace and for the sheath not to point against us one day.
Even ordinary repair work at your house, they will come and seize your equipments (shovel) requesting for money or approval without receipt and there were tens of different sects of them. That was when we realized we where in ANARCHY. Thank God for Governor Willie Obiano that cleaned the street from these thugs. Since then, once In a while, I only visit family members that are still doing business there and I don’t want to stop visiting because “abum nwa ala oatuu” (son of the soil)
WHERE DID THE PROBLEM COME FROM AND HOW CAN WE SOLVE IT ESPECIALLY WE THE YOUTHS.
IGBOS I DON’T WANT YOU TO GO, FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND FEELINGS WILL BE SEPARATED

Well, your experience is touchy, the once peaceful and happy life turned sour. However, Your little experience is nothing compared to the humiliation, killings, deprivation, denial, torture (both emotional and physical) the average Igbo person go through every passing day of his life, all these cuts across both social, political, academic, religious and even cultural divides. As we speak, there is a quit notice on Igbo's to leave the north or face death simply because we are exercising our rights to self determination. Biafrans wants out, it will be more peaceful if we live as equal neighbors than together in pains.

A Dialogue Between Two Igbo Men on WhatsApp

Author: Unknown

Listen, Nwakanwa my brother I understand the frustration. I wish things can work that way. But everything that happens in the world has a precedent and there is something called international law. That's where the elites and intelligentsia are important for the struggle.

John Garange was elite of the South Sudan he was instrumental to the peace talk that led to independence of South Sudan. After he died in a plane crash, Silva Kiir, his lieutenant, who was also another elite, took over and led the country to Independence.

Our people should be very careful so that they do not shoot themselves in the foot. Things do not happen by emotions. The international law does not recognize emotions.

First and foremost Nigeria is an independent sovereign state, a member state of the UN, AU, Commonwealth of Nations and Ecowas. She has diplomatic relations with over 100 countries in the world. Her sovereignty is respected and protected under the UN law, it means that until she decides by herself to partitioned herself, no country in the world will recognize any part of Nigeria that forced itself out of Nigeria.

A country is a country when it is recognized by other countries as a sovereign state recognized by the UN and member states.

I give you an example of what will happen when the elite of Igboland do not engage Nigeria in discussions about self determination. By the way the 1999 constitution does not have any provisions for self determination of any part of the federation like the US or U.K. Constitution, for a debate or discussion to happen about letting a part to go the constitution which is the supreme law of the law must be amended or changed.

This is what will happen if you fail to act within the international law framework. You will become like entities such as Northern Cyprus which broke away from the south in 1974 with the support of Turkish Army; which after 42 years, no country in the world other than Turkey recognized.

The north Cyprus does not do business with any country in the world, they do not have international passport recognized by any country in the world, their citizens are given Turkish citizenship so that they can travel out. Their money is not recognized by world bank and they cannot trade with the outside world. But they have been existing on their own for 42 years now. Currently they are agitating for reunification with the South which is called Greek Cyprus.

This is a precedent to look at. Somaliland was colonized by Britain while Somalia was colonized by Italy. After independence, Somaliland willingly join their Somali brothers to become the republic of Somalia. When civil war broke out in Somalia about 25 years ago, Somaliland which was very peaceful and functioning, withdrew from the Somalia republic.

25 years after, even though Somalia is a failed state and Somaliland has been having peaceful democratic elections and functioning like a state, no country in the would recognized Somaliland as a country. Her citizens are still called Somali and can only travel outside with Republic of Somalia passport.

Somaliland is living on international aid because it cannot do business with any country in the world. Their money cannot exchange for international currencies because it's not recognized by world bank and IMF. This is a precedent in our own Africa.

The two breakaway regions of Georgia known as South Ossetia and Abkhazia are recognized only by Russia more than 10 years after they broke away from Republic of Georgia with Russian support. Till this day only Russia recognized them as a sovereign entity. No one does business with them. In order for them to travel out they took Russian citizenship and obtain Russian passports. But by international law they are still Georgians.

Ukraine conflict is still on till this day. The East broke out of the Ukraine with the help of Russia military. The war is still on. Even though for 3 years the Ukrainian government is not in control of those regions. No country in the world recognized those regions as independent or sovereign states. They are still using Ukrainian currency, Ukrainian passport and the territory is still know as Ukraine.

These are precedents. Don't tell me our own will be different, how? If we push this thing as idiots and unintelligent people, Nigeria will make us suffer like never before.

They will stop salaries and pensions coming to East Nigeria like Ukraine did to their East. They will put economic blockade on the East that you can't even ship your produces out nor bring importation in. They can make the life of the Eastern region living hell.

It takes a man who think with his head rather than his heart to know all these. It takes a person who employ reasoning rather than emotions to look for precedents. I still maintain that for things to run it course in accordance with international law only the elites and the intelligentsia can move it forward and engage Nigeria in meaningful discussion.

If Biafra will ever become an acceptable republic in the world and enjoy all the privileges as a sovereign nation, only Nigeria will grant her independence from the federation like the Ethiopia did to Eritrea, like Sudan did to South Sudan , like Serbia did to Montenegro.

Lets use common sense people. Emotions only let the odds happen.

Culled from Deji Yesufu
Another wasted effort by a frustrated afonja. IPOB, the biggest and most effective freedom fighting outfit world over, and your brain is telling you that such a gargantuan movement is been driven by illiterates, I guess your have a different meaning to intelligentsia abi na intellectuals, RUBBISH.

Obaiyski:
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) on Tuesday said for the first time in the last 20 years, the national grid maintained frequency stability for 24 consecutive hours last Wednesday.

TCN in a statement by the spokesperson, Mrs Seun Olagunju said the development was a key pointer to the gradual and consistent improvement in the stability of the nation’s transmission grid.

The Interim Managing Director of TCN, Usman Gur Mohammed lauded the Generation Companies (GenCos) for complying with the Grid Code rule, which requires them to maintain the required frequency control.

He said the frequency control action implemented since May 22, 2017 has helped in stabilizing frequency and in turn enabled the company achieve a very high level of stability and reliability in the grid.

He said despite the sudden loss of about 1,000 megawatts (mw) on June 4, 2017, the system was able to withstand it without any collapse even as many distribution feeders tripped off during a downpour.

Having achieved this milestone, TCN said it is working assiduously to maintain the trend and also to further improve and stabilize the grid frequency.

“TCN is working with the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) on the provision of required incentives for GenCos to provide enough spinning reserve. The company is also committed to implementing all other actions that would lead to sustained system stability.

The company reiterated its commitment to diligently executing its grid expansion and stability plans in the short, medium and long terms while working closely with the GenCos and the Distribution Companies (DisCos) to deliver quality and stable electricity supply to consumers nationwide.
