Recently Yorubas in North central are clamoring to join SW, the question is why were they placed in NC in the first place? What about Igbos in Delta, Rivers, Benue? Why were they not put in SE? The reason is divide them so they can be small, then its easier to conquer them. At independence, Southern Nigeria had 2 region which later turned 3 regions in 1963 through a referendum to create midwest region. The North had 1 out of the 4 which was 25%. The Northern military men strategically divided the country so that they moved from 25% stake to about 55% giving themselves the majority when they were minority at independence.
