If you have passed through a public university in Nigeria and then you think Dr. Ngige isn't making sense , then you should forfeit your degree.

Education in Nigeria is heavily subsidized. Nigeria cannot train you almost free of charge and then you run away to a foreign country when Nigeria lacks sufficient manpower in your field of endeavor. The practice is worse than being unpatriotic. It is wickedness.

Medical doctors spend less than a million naira in tuition in Federal universities to complete their program. In fact, during the NYSC program, most medical students make back the money they spent on their tuition.


Many medical doctors in the foreign countries you wickedly dump Nigeria for spend the first two years of their career paying back student loans. Their salary is high because of the high cost of living in their country which is why they pay an average of 100,000 USD for medical education ( tuition+ others fees).

The government doesn't intend to stop you from migrating. No, they'll be stupid to do that because it's against the tenets of FHRs .
The FG is simply telling you, if Nigeria is the worst country on Earth, go to Canada, US or UK and spend 50,000 USD to acquire medical training and then work for them. If you want to benefit from our subsidy then you must compulsorily serve us for a few couple of years.

However, the policy of the FG is not good for the long run because medical consultants, experts and specialists will greatly reduce in Nigerian hospitals as there's no embargo placed against them.

What's the need of having many medical doctors who are not really proficient?

The best practice remains improving the welfare of Medical practitioners and enlightening them of their Hippocratic oath to serve their black brothers and sisters.

In my opinion, been a medical practitioner in this country is overrated. You should understand that these folks are not leaving because they want to. I don't think traveling out to another country is on a platter of gold as it is presented to us.

Practicing medicine in Nigeria, especially in our public hospital is crazy. Try and have conversation with them. And because the govt "subsidized education" for them doesn't mean they should die for it.

An average medical doctor won't think of leaving this you country if the work package is well.

5. I am from Rivers state. I can tell you for free that rigging was done in some LGAs. There was disruption in my pooling unit but we came back to vote.

6. I am not expecting magic from PO and If he doesn't do well, we vote him out again. We want change and from history Tinubu and Atiku are not the candidate. If we had Osibanjo Nigerians would have had an option.

7. This is the first time we are voting without money been involved.

If I were Buhari and the rest of the APC NWC, the way I'd get a consensus candidate would be from the Aspirants themselves.

How would I do it? I'd ask the aspirants to submit the top three aspirants they think would do great as President. I would then collate all the list and pick the aspirant with the highest score. This way, whoever gets the ticket has a higher chance of been acceptable to most of the aspirants thus preventing rancor within the party.

This is a scientific way to do it.

God being merciful, we are blessed with a baby of 5 months. My wife has been giving me attitudes of recent. I have tried to find out what the problem has been, she is not saying anything tangible. I am being confused and depressed. I have been begging her to come back to join me after delivery. She keeps traumazing me emotionally. She just told me our marriage is over. She couldn't say what the problem is.

She has not been taking care of the baby. She was medically advised to stop breastfeeding our baby permanently. Is not that she breastfeeds our baby. My mother in-law and sisters in-law have been complaining about her lack of motherly treats.

They told me she doesn't even know how to take care of the baby. They cannot allow my child to be in her custody because she can't take care of the baby as a mother. She has fought her mother for asking her to leave her house to join her husband. Every member of her family has been asking her what the problem is. She keeps telling them to come and marry me that it's over between us.

I haven't told any of my family members or my friends of what is going on in my marriage. I am a kind of person that do not like involving a third party in my new marriage of lest than two years.

Her family has never supported her actions. Her mom and her siblings have been asking me to come take my wife and baby. But, my wife is not ready to join me. It has been a serious issues in her family house each time they push her to go meet her husband.

Her family has ask me to come with some soldiers or the police to come carry my baby and leave her since she claims she is no longer interested in any marriage. I have been trying my best to make sure my wife never lacked anything during her pregnancy and even after delivery.

My in-laws have been very supportive and good to me. I know they have never and will not support her for her wrong actions and behaviors. My challenge is, my baby is just 5 months and I don't want to take the baby to my parents because of the questions people around will be asking. I don't want to be seen as someone who is separated from his wife. I hate divorce with passion. My wife does not have any concrete reason why she decides to stay off our marriage.

Her family is fully in support of my next actions of going to take my baby. Now, the question is this; is it advisable to keep the baby with me while I employ a nanny to raise the baby with me?

Please and please I need mature and sensible advise.

In my opinion, allow her. Don't force her to come home. Allow her mother nurse the baby unless she doesn't want to. Keep visiting and providing as much as you can. Explore all your options and exhaust then them. Iet getting a nanny be your last option. If she wants to go.she should do the proper thing and file for divorce.
