Because, whether we like it or not, our future is so bleak in Nigeria. We can never attain even 30% of our potentials.
30 % potentials. My brother between 1994-2001, Aba and Onitsha were known for shoe and belt production. People come different countries to buy. But some us who romance their way to corridor of power liaise with the power that be to lift the ban on the importation of those items to that they can import from Italy or Spain for quick turn over. Aba and Onitsha industries went under.

it may surprise to know that when west were busy offering scholarship for the children to school to reshape their future, most our parent would prefer her wards to go and learn trade for quick money.

It may surprise to note that during ObJ leadership, the Igbo were strategically place in most ministry as minster, we did not complain. But for 16 years, Enugu- Onitsha road did not receive attention. Rather, our political class were busy struggling for oil and gas business in Sao tome etc.

Our brother prof bath Nnaji from Enugu state- Minister of power was at the verge of solving the power issue, but our own from SS/SE due to their selfish interest muscle him away. The rest is history.

My brother, remember our region is land lock and most of people has invested outside the Igbo land. How would survive is the bubble show burst. God forbid. The early 60s to 70s is different now. Let ask our leader to tell us the truth and face good governace with the little we have and gunning for the big and fail completely.

Buy and selling from china or outside country will not grow your region, r

Is this your reason why you want Biafra? Should any younger fellow ask you why do want Biafra, should this be your response? Very unfortunate.

Why asking, let the polls speak.

Do you really think anyone down east wants to see cows pooing around their house and trampling on their crops?

Do you think any eastern businessman wants to stand by and watch incompetent buffoons messing up big time on economic policies while their business suffer?

Do you think we love this quota system and government of mediocrity?

Let them print the ballot papers first.
Please, convince me why Biafra should be our main goal?

That is Scotland, that is UK, can't you see the difference between their actions and this lawless nation?
Every nation is a product of the people. If you do yours and I do mine this very nation will be better. We have abandon our civil responsibilities and watch the those who has been representing us from east to play the card of ethnicity and bigotry just for their selfish interest. Now the table has turn against them, they remember Biafra and restructuring. They should restructure their attitude towards our public funds and fight for our interest not theirs. When you don't support their selfish desires they brand you all sorts of names.

That your moniker is Amaechi does not make you an Igbo man. So Stop this divisive comments.
There is no way everybody will support biafra, what matters is majority votes.

mind you, not all British voted for LEAVE
Britain voted themselves out of Europe with just little over 51% majority.
And you think the "yes" will be more than the "no"

I don't believe in what you believed, that is why I am not an Igbo. You never can tell if we may had any dealing together today. There are more to life than you see it. An intelligent agitator would put his reasons forward to convince the other person, than to rain insults.

How I wish the over rated Biafra issue will be put to e referendum, people will be shocked that most Igbo would rather stay in as Nigeria. Definitely, my vote will not go Biafra. I would rather prefer our greedy politician to restructure their appetite to our public fund.

I have already develop tough skin, because I know some of my brothers will start to insulting themselves not me now.

On the contrary, I think Fayose is the one bullying Zenith bank to either save him or he spills the dirty secret between both parties.

Head or tail, zenith bank is in deep shiit. Fayose will drag them through the dirtiest mud and regulators will take turn to impose hefty fine on them. Zenith don buy serious market with this Fayose poo.
We are all living witness to how Fidelity Bank is still struggling to come out from Deziani saga. Secondly, one would ask how did they get those media men ready. Who was interrogating the alleged bank officials.
Either way Fayose is in a mess and Zenith bank has their name to clear.

Very unfortunate comment. Have you heard the comment of the common sense senator? Did he mention Buhari as the cause? Did he denied that his company Was not owing?

Sorry ooo.

Who cares! How does that remove the fact someone is being ask to come and clear his name. Anyone who thinks the President does not have the backing of most NASS member is just deceiving himself.

Whenever, this politician are being questioned, it becomes witch hunting. If it happened to a common man, it becomes democracy in action. Some poor amongst us are still fighting for the looters who never care about the common man. The same NASS was proposing a life pension and immunity themselves, when states and FG are finding it difficult to pay salaries.

It is still a wonder why the US didn't invite these men to state their own side of the story. The whole case looks like a prejudged one. The US remains the bastion of democracy and right to fear hearing is one of the cardinal features of democracy. Why the US chose to act brazenly remains a mystery....Our lawmakers are not the best of role models, but these men deserved to be heard.
But they not the only one on that trip. How come, they were the only one being pointed at.

I will not doubt anyone who says he is a millionaire in his dreams. But come to think of it, you were sick (you had malaria, typhoid and high level of PSA) yet you still travel. One would have expected that you would have step down your trip and sort yourself out first.

If what was alleged was true, sorry for NASS.

So the many senators lined up as prosecution witnesses are executive senators?

Try to think harder before typing.
My brother, anyone is entitled to his opinion and that is beauty of democracy. However, I have noticed that what ever that will displace ot affect these senators, is usually seen as an attack to democracy. But, when it is not against them, it becomes democracy in action.

I still do not understand, when come and clear your name becomes at the court comes a crime. Saraki, should do the needful and allow the attorney general to do his work.

Another story from somewhere...APC turning Nigeria to "One week- One Trouble!"
It only happen in Nigeria, where you are asked to come clear your names and it will turn to quarrel. We have stayed so long under corruption and impunity that must of us have forgotten the norm and good behaviors.

When did our politician starts being afraid of the court. In the past they are the one that will rush to the court first, to get injunctions. Now the table has turn and the hunter is being hunted. I can Imagine if it should be a common man in the street, would they have summoned AGF.

People deceive People.
