Achuwa1:
confused govt.
why is the feeding programe in phases & in 18 states for the first phase.what happens to the other 18 states ?
parents have never complained to govt tht they cant feed their children,so why not invest this fund into our educational system by equiping schools with world class facilities & empowering teachers with latest teaching skills to enhance pupils performance.
Please, have you considered the ripple benefit s of the programme? Increased number of pupils enrollment, agricultural boost, and employment. Let look at the immediate positive side than negative side.

Are you not tired of this ethnic divide? I am also from east, I can't remember the PDP government rehabilitating the Enugu-Onitsha Express. The last time it was touched was during PTDF under the very chairmanship Of Buhari. Ask our governor and leaders what have they done with all the allocation given to them. What affect you also affect all.

When people kept complaining that Kemi Adeosun does not have credentials to compete with Iweala and all that I kept telling them to hold on a little and give her a chance.
The difference between the two is that while the latter impresses you with economic jargons, the former is more realistic about situations on ground while giving practical solutions to issues.
Give Kemi another two years, most of you will campaign for her to be our Hillary Clinton. Lol.
you are on point. Peculiar condition calls for peculiar actions. As good as comment some people will still rain insults or attack you before today.

Please, channel your resource to a more meaningful things that will benefit the lot.

It is people like you you that will accuse this administration of not living up to his promise on fighting corruption and Saraki case will be number one you will cite as example. One PMB said the Judiciary was his head ache most people rained insults on him, forgetting that The Bar is also made up of bench.

If you are tired stop reading any related cases that has to do with Saraki's trial
PoliticsRe: FFK Has Been Detained For 33 Days Now Without Charge. What's The Govt's Response by amaechi1: 11:45pm On Jun 14, 2016
coolscott:
Okay. I think he actually might have had his hand in the cookie jar sha. I think it is possible.
But I think the government should empower itself by following due process.

What made me think there is a chance he had his hand in the jar was
1) the fact that his lawyers did not put out any sweeping/serious statement from him (I don't know if he has such liberties to put out statements while in custody even if through his lawyers)

2) The fact that he went religious about the whole thing at a certain point. That looked like an attempt to easily whip up much needed sentiments in his favour at that point. In that statement, not much of weight appeared and I know he is a brilliant mind and loves to bring factual substance to support his position at any time. Resorting to whipping up religious emotions at that time made me think something might be wrong

Whatever the case, we are going to find out.
EFFC got a court order to keep him for 30 day. FFK knows that is in the law enhance he will not make any noise about that. Except some few who enjoy raising unnecessary dust and cast aspersion on this government for fighting corruption. Most them did not even know when the looting took place neither did they benefit from the looters. Just because they don't like the current president.
Anyone had stole PDP or APC should be dealt with as EFCC so wishs. Let us remember there are other PDP member are still working free simply because they have no case to answer.

The thing about following the rule (of law) is that if you don't tomorrow, will circumvent procedure and say "After all, you also circumvent the procedure".

The federal govt is actually shooting themselves in the foot by doing what they are doing - expressing their deep conviction that if they follow due process, they will not make headway in their fight.

Nobody should support them in this because it may be FFK today, a nobody to you, but it could be you or your beloved one tomorrow.

The government cannot be seen to be breaking the law because by doing so, they are enabling others to do the same and will lose the moral high ground to call others to order when others attempt to break those same laws.

My brother, don't worry your head for any politician. There are hundreds of young Nigeria that are in prison today without being charged to court or released. Most are being picked up for mere hawking in Ikorodu road. FFK is not more Nigerian than any of us. Rule of law when it happen to highly placed, but juggle justice for ordinary Nigerians. He should see other side of the table. Maybe that will teach others some lessons.

Let us pretend you are not aware that EFCC got a court order to keep him for 30 day after the first order expired.

Buhari is "evil and the alleged looters are "Saint". Okwu na eso akuko! Don't worry your head for any politician that is my advice.
PoliticsRe: FFK Has Been Detained For 33 Days Now Without Charge. What's The Govt's Response by amaechi1: 11:11pm On Jun 14, 2016
Please, don't cry more than the bereaved? There are millions of young Nigerians that are being picked up from street for mere hawking or strolling and they are languishing in different prisons without being charged to court or released. Is FFK more Nigerian than others. Do want to raise unnecessary dust to catch attention.
However, FFK has been charge to court and he will have his day from friday 17 June, 2016. About 17 witnesses have being called to testify against him.
I will not worry my head for any politician being accused for corruption. They should sort themselves out.

"While the boom had many positives and contributed to Nigeria becoming Africa’s largest economy, it fostered an epidemic of corruption and inefficiency. Foreign businesses and financial institutions also benefited as some people spent and sometimes hid huge sums abroad, lifted by the rising tide of oil exports and dollar revenues"

Some time I ask whether oil was a curse or blessing. Other nations use theirs to expand and develop their economy, rather we choose to impoverish our people, simply because we are closer to the power that be.

Mr President your good intentions will come true.

God bless Nigeria!

I guess the confession of Senator Nenadi Usman does not make any meaning. God raise Pharoah for a purpose. If teaching these looters a lesson was why God has allowed PMB to come to power, so be it.

same old stories... it is obvious this man has ear problem.. and what about restructuring the country to strengthen unity. Restructuring will restore trust and will encourage merit rather mediocrity and that in itself will create enabling environment for growth.
Restructuring governance without our political class restructuring their attitude towards public funds will amount to more economic crisis than what we are seeing now. Let the political class tame their urge to public funds we will be better of in this country.

People take panadol for others head ache. None of these people making tribal affiliations have benefited from these Military personnels. Most people are seeing these names for the first time and they have jump into conclusion that they from south.

If these guys are found guilty they should face the music. Otherwise they should approach the court for redress if they feel unjust.

My people, you need to see the way they insulted me on this platform yesterday. What was my crime? I suggested that we should wait until the list is out and probably with their state of origin before jumping into conclusion. All hell was let loose against my enemies not me for offering simple advice. Even though I am not too sure of this list, however we can now see it is not what was posted in the social media yesterday.

The military is purging herself and they should allow them to do so.
PoliticsRe: FG Plans Fresh Financial Relief Package For States by amaechi1: 8:38pm On Jun 11, 2016
What fascinate me most was the stringent measure to qualify for the bail out:

1. Publish an audited report of their financial obligations;
2. Enhance or develop system to improve their IGR;
3. Institute an efficiency units to reduce cost of governance and avoid duplication of expenditures;

These three items will improve accountability and make the governor more responsible. The ball is in the court of the governors.

Nigeria is matching forward.
