Ethnic and religious bigotry will lead us no where. Let I have always ask, please put forward a superior argument, why Biafra should be our top priority. Since two day ago I yet to see anything than insults.

PoliticsRe: Untold Story Of Senate Rules Forgery Scandal Involving Saraki And Ekweremadu by amaechi1: 3:05pm On Jun 26, 2016
Two questions I wish to ask:
1. Was the rule forged?
2. Was due process followed, according to senate order?

If the answers to 1 and 2 are "yes and "no" respectively, then, those involved have case to answer.

inquisitiv:
Once again I will comment on this post so other Nigerians will not believe all igbos support corruption. I am a full blooded igbo and this writer is spot on. He is very correct in his analysis.

The average igbo politician is one greedy creature, accomplishments are the number of houses he built. This disease is so deep that even the youth of the community points to him as haaving been blessed by God since he won election.

I have lived and worked in SE, SS, SW, NC and NE of this country. Every regionhas their corrupt leaders but the difference is that SW will tell their own thieves to their face that they are thieves. My brothers in SE will celebrate the loot and call the thieve 'our son'.

This is a disgrace.

Not in my name!

Goodluck was adopted because of the access of igbo leaders to Dollars. No principle, no strategy. Look at SE states and observe how leadershipwas transferred. Except for anambra others were handed over to people worse than their predecessors. Compare with Lagos where it is obvious that their is a list somewhere of competent managers who are thrown up to lead the state. What we have in the SE is politics of business. where the biggest moneybag buys the office.

As usual once I write some unexposed people will start questioning my igboness. you need to mix up.

The lastest shame is when cases of morals are in court eg forgery, the defense is that 'our son is being persecuted'. this is disgraceful

Not in my name. I am a proud igbo boy. I dont condone fraud.
How I wish those young men and women who have been galloping around in the name of protest would understand their real enemies are their corrupt leaders from LGA to the presidency.

Eziokwu bu ndu.

Nwanne, Iziokwu ka ikuru. Onye we nti ya nuru.
You are not only on this course. I have received rains of insult because, I have argued that our leaders are not telling the truth. Simply put, they are angry because they have lost from the political equation. Like you rightly put what have done for the Igbo nation when there are within the political space. Nothing except enriching their pockets.
I have argued what we need is for our political class to scale down their greedy and have passion for the common Igbo man not Biafra.

Impeachment on what ground. Beside you also the lower house to support.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Democracy In Danger:APC Senator & Senate Spokesman Sen. Sabi Abdullahi by amaechi1: 12:50pm On Jun 26, 2016
Simple put senator, your position as the spokesman is in danger not our democracy. The beauty of democracy is when you are accused of any infraction and charged to court of competent jurisdiction to clear yourself. The duty is on you to go and clear your name.
On the contrary, our democracy was set on the path of destruction they day the NASS assembly proposed a life pension and immunity for themselves and threaten if they didn't get it, nobody including the president will not have it. That was the beginning of our democracy being in danger.
PoliticsRe: This Is How Buhari Respected The Christian Faith With His Cap On His Head by amaechi1: 11:22am On Jun 26, 2016
LMFashions:
Dat is still no excuse. The fact still remain dat he didn't respect another's faith by having his cap on in a Christian's place of prayer. Same applies to others there. I'm not surprised, of course u'll always see ways to defend him even when he's caught pants down doing what's not right.
I blame the president for evening coming. If he had stayed away, maybe this blackmail would not be an issue. There many who remove their caps that worst than Buhari. Salvation is keep not the hat or cap.

kcnwaigbo:
The 2011 senate rule mentioned in that report died with the 7th senate!!! You cannot be claiming the 2015 senate rule was forged and yet keep making reference to the 2011 senate rule. This case is very weak and that was why the FG hesitated taking it to court.

The 2015 senate rule used in the election of the SP and DSP is a new document distinct from the obsolete 2011 senate rule.

There is no forgery here.If they were contesting the validity of the new rule,it would have made more sense.A baby lawyer would win this case for Saraki and Ekweremadu let alone the Experienced SANs that they would deploy
Logic but not fact. So who made rules they use.

The clerk said 'by convention and practice and not necessarily by procedure'. And if his claim is valid, then the federal govt is wasting their time contesting the legality of the amendment.
Please, let be adult here? Few people will gather and amend the rules that will be use for majority without the authorization of the majority. Then, the president should as well call his few and amend constitution without resort the NASS.

kcnwaigbo:
Lolz this case is a very funny one!! You are saying the 2015 senate rule was forged yet you keep linking it to the 2011 senate rule!! I would see how the FG will win this case even with a biased judge.

If you say the current 2015 senate rule was forged then you must produce the original 2015 senate rule shikena. It is not by lining up witnesses. The CCT case comes to mind. After all the initial gragra is the case not already collapsing?
Please, do take time and read the post again. The last time rule was ammmended was 2011. The lay down procedure to amend the
rule was also narrated. The big question if you care to know, was that procedure followed? If yes no question to answer but if no, then some has question to follow.

This is where you'll have a problem with the rest of the country. I think a Referendum should be done when everyone is on the same page over who can/cant vote and (potential) boundaries are defined and agreed upon. I would advice the agitators to focus on the CORE Ibo states to advance their push.
God bless you my brother. Most of these fellow that are agitating for Biafra do not even know what they are asking for. None of these my brothers have put forward constructive reasons why they want biafra. Rather, they choose to rain insults the moment you disagree with them.

Whic of the politicians will ask for that, when they are benefiting from this system. One of fears, if we did not put this greedy fellows on check and dismantle their structure, they will still be the one that will come along to be leader in proposed "Biafra". Rather than asking for the right thing and approach, some youthful individual prefer protest and violence as a means of getting what they want.

Yes. I support this but their politicians in Abuja and elsewhere are not demanding for referendum; instead their lots believe so much in propaganda - Russia, Israel, etc. coming to turn Nigeria to battleground stories.
I believe in self-determination of each group in Nigeria, at least true federalism. If Igbos want to go the way is so easy, just incorporate your politicians into this movement, stop being emotional, stop hating/ claiming other groups and stop the insinuation that everyone hates you because you will still need Nigeria in many ways after you've got your Biafra.
Many thanks Bro.
