Legendary Nigerian entertainer, Charly Boy, says he has reactivated his fight for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender LGBT community in Nigeria.

His renewed vigor to fight for the rights of the LGBT is coming against the backdrop of his daughter, Dewy Oputa, who recently came out as a Lesbian and also showed off her lesbian partner.

In a post shared on his IG page this morning, Charly Boy said he has in time past fought for Okada riders, Musicians and many others and that now is the time for him to fight for the LGBT community in Nigeria.

Nigerian ace rapper, Ruggedman, who has been one of the celebrities speaking up against SARS brutality, has revealed how to know the real operatives of the scheme.

He shared a video of himself with some SARS officers and showed the detailing on their jackets, revealing how to know the real ones.

He wrote;

"So back to my mission with the new OC SARS Lagos state ,CSP Peter Gana.
He said a lot of people have been impersonating and carrying out terrible acts as sars officials and he showed me how to spot fake sars. So I thought to share them with my people.

1. The real sars have a Red scorpion on their cap and jacket with the number 039 on them.

2. Sars units are only allocated 2 riffles. So any group of alleged sars officials you see with more than 2 riffles are fake.

I then told him that
1. Without a proper uniform, anybody (including armed robbers) can buy black t-shirts and print sars on them.

2. They need proper mode of identification e.g. name/number badge to make tracing their station easy.

3. Since they are a special unit with so much negativity around them at the moment, it's best to get them off the streets for now (unless when a special crime is happening) because the brutalisation, extortion, kidnapping and unlawful arrests of innocent Nigerians is too much.
We don't have a problem with them dealing with confirmed criminals, but treating innocent Nigerians like animals is turning the country into a ticking time bomb.

The World Cup final between France and Croatia was briefly halted in the second half after some fans ran onto the pitch during play.

Both fans were fully clothed, and one appeared to be wearing a military uniform. It is unclear what the motive of the fans was, but it took security a few seconds to chase down both fans. The incident occurred at the 52′ mark.

Days after accusing him of domestic abuse and revealing that she has filed for divorce, a video of Juliet Mgborukwe hitting her estranged husband, Chima Ojukwu, has emerged.

According to insiders, the real cause of their rift was infidelity on the part of the wife. It was alleged that hell broke loose after Chima returned home early, one day, and caught Juliet red handed.

The husband was reportedly advised to keep quiet and let her go quietly, but she has being accused of trying to tarnish his image by her domestic violence claims.

The duo got married in 2011 and separated in 2012, just months after their wedding, but got back together in 2014. Back then, she claimed they went their separate ways due to irreconcilable differences.

All 12 boys and their football coach have been rescued from a Thai cave after an 18 day ordeal, the Thai Navy SEALs said in a Facebook post, adding they were "safe".

"All 12 'Wild Boars' and coach have been extracted from the cave," the post said, adding "all are safe" and signing off with a simple "Hooyah".

Four divers who stayed with the group were still to emerge, it added.

Eight of the boys were brought out on stretchers over the first two days - four on Sunday and four on Monday.

British divers found the 13, huddled on a muddy bank in a partly flooded chamber several kilometres inside the complex, on Monday last week.

The eight boys brought out on Sunday and Monday were in good health overall and some asked for chocolate bread for breakfast, officials said.

Two of the boys had suspected lung infections but the four boys from the first group rescued were all walking around their hospital beds.

They are still being quarantined from their parents because of the risk of infection and would likely be kept in hospital for a week to undergo tests, officials said.

Four more of the boys were carried on stretchers out of the labyrinthine Tham Luang cave on the Myanmar border at dusk on Monday, bringing to eight the number brought out after two rescue pushes on successive days.

People across Thailand, and the world, have cheered the rescue operation, including at the Mae Sai Prasitsart school where six of the trapped boys are students.

A tragedy was on Sunday averted after a petrol tanker spilled its content on the road.

According to Channels TV, the incident occurred while the tanker was pulling out of the filling station, spilling the remnant of its contents in the process.

The incident would have escalated into a tragic explosion but men of the state fire service intervened, preventing a fire outbreak around the tanker or at locations where the split remnant of its content flowed to, via the drainage.

Sunmbo, and her husband, Pastor Adeoye, this morning, welcomed a baby boy in the U.S.

This will be Sumbo’s third child and Pastor David Adeoye’s first child.

On Monday, the Canadian dream of a family of Nigerian migrants who arrived in Quebec in April, 2018, turned into a nightmare, Montreal Journal reports.

Two days after moving into their first home in Montreal, the 6-year-old son drowned in a swimming pool in the Saint-Léonard neighborhood. "I dream of being able to go back," sobs Bukola Babayemi, 31.

On her way to the low-cost resort pool on Monday, when the weather was hot, she was far from suspecting that she was spending her last moments with her eldest son, Bukumi.

"I told him to stay next to me.

But it took a second of inattention and I lost it. I immediately alerted the rescuer, but it was too late,”

whispers the mother of three, in tears.

After being found unconscious in the bottom of the pool, the boy was rush to the hospital, where he was confirmed dead.

Bukumi was to start school in September.

The pool has since be shutdown. In hopes of providing a better life for her children, Ms. Babayemi made the big trip to Canada from Houston, U.S last April.

Arrived in the United States in August 2016, she said she quickly realized that this country was not made for her family.

"It's so hard for the migrants there. We can do almost nothing, I had to beg for church food for my children," she said.

Former Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike has advised John Mikel Obi to relocate his parents from Enugu after his father was rescued from kidnappers by police.

Police in Enugu had revealed that they rescued the Super Eagles captain’s dad along Makurdi-Enugu Road.

Mikel also revealed that his father’s abductors had already informed him of his kidnap hours before Nigeria faced Argentina, demanding N10 Million ransom.

Reacting to the kidnap incident, Emenike advised Mikel to either relocate his parents to Lagos or Abuja or get security officials to protect them.

Super Eagles skipper Mikel Obi says he was informed of his father’s abduction a few hours before Nigeria played Argentina in a World Cup group game.

Pa Michael Obi, Mikel’s father, was rescued on Monday after being kidnapped for the second time in seven years.

The police had said Pa Obi and his driver, John Ishaya, were abducted on Makurdi-Enugu Road on June 29.

In a statement made available to The Cable by Mikel’s publicist, the midfielder said he had to suppress his emotions to play against Argentina.

“Following various speculators about recent occurrence with my father,” Mikel was quoted to have said.

“I can confirm I had to suppress emotional trauma to lead Nigeria out against Argentina last Tuesday, June 26 in Saint Petersburg.

Four hours before kick-off, I received a call from Nigeria that my father Pa Michael Obi had been kidnapped for the second time. He was on his way to a funeral in south-eastern Nigeria from Jos when he was abducted along the Makurdi-Enugu expressway.


I was emotionally distraught but had to make a decision about whether I was mentally ready to play the game. I was confused. I did not know what to do, but in the end I knew that I could not let 180 million Nigerians down, I had to shut it out of my head and go and represent my country first.

I could not even inform the coaches or NFF staff, and only a very tight circle of members my friends knew. I was told that they would shoot my dad instantly if I reported to the authorities or told anybody.

And I did not want to discuss it with the coach because I did not want my issue to become a distraction to the coach or the rest of the team on the day of such an important game.

So as much as I wanted to discuss it with the coach, I could not do it. Thankfully he is now safely released less than seven hours ago. I thank the police authorities for their rescue efforts and support from friends and family members.”
