Please house for someone going for Masters do you need authentication and Eligibility letter or just legalization at embassy?

You cannot legalise without authentication. Eligibility letter is gotten from the ministry of education. So you need to do both. Please try to read through the thread because this question has been answered a lot of times

Hey guys

So I'm here again to share my experience this time with getting admitted to a tuition free course at the University of Warsaw. Note, this is going to be a lengthy read.

Pre-application
My first choice was actually University of Opole, that was until I came to this thread and saw someone talk about racism in some parts of Poland. It struck some fear in me, I no go lie, so I decided to look at other universities. I saw university of Warsaw and the first thing that caught my attention were the tuition free courses. I finally settled on Sustainable Development and prepared my documents for application.

Application
The easiest part of the whole process. I created my profile on IRK after watching a Youtube video on the application process. I paid the application fee using my MasterCard and downloaded the questions for the qualification interview. I worked on the interview questions and studied extensively on the subject. As a graduate of English Studies, I was already at a disadvantage as there were others with first degrees relating to Sustainable Development so I had no choice but to study hard. The interview came and it was very brief. Some helpful tips in preparing for the interview:

-Prepare well: I was fortunate to prepare for the interview by seeking coaching from friends, rubbing minds with my fellow applicant (Kels) and reading extensively. I didn't restrict myself to the materials I was given but I read wide. Eventually when the interview came, I was prepared.

-Look for a quiet place for the interview: Since the interviews are conducted online with meeting apps like Skype, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet etc, the audio quality matters. Polish people have their own English accent and if you're not in a quiet place, you will not be able to hear them.

-Your interviewers will likely be very friendly: I found it disconcerting somehow, maybe because I'm used to the naija way of interviews where people in the panel act as if they want to decimate and embarrass you. The Polish interviewers me and my friends spoke with were very friendly. In my case, they were even trying to assist with answering the questions they asked and I was amazed.

-Put your best foot forward: Why? Because the interview will most likely be brief. Find a way to answer questions by going straight to the point from the beginning. The interviewers have a large number of applicants to attend to so they may be kind of hasty. It's best for you to get to the point and fast.

Give room for Polish time: They even state it before the interview, be prepared 20 minutes before and 20 minutes after the interview. In my case, they interviewed me almost one hour after my allocated interview time.

Pray well: Very important

Post-application
Five days after my interview I received a notification that I'd qualified for studies and I had four days from that day to send my legalized documents to University of Warsaw. I hadn't even gotten my documents authenticated, talkess of legalised so I asked for a deadline extension which they granted. I went about getting my documents authenticated by proxy (read about that here https://www.nairaland.com/2272115/polish-student-visa/98#92243017 ) I eventually sent my authenticated documents and long silence...

Then out of the blues, my documents would be rejected because they were not legalized. Omo, I was lost. I didn't know where to start from after I've already told my mom and friends that I'd been admitted. I eventually rallied and sent a mail to the school citing the pandemic as a reason for the non-legalization. I even called the recruitment officer at some point. Eventually she told me she spoke with the admission officers and they decided that my eligibility letter was sufficient for admission.

Brethren, that's how I got admitted to the University of Warsaw. I'm moving on to the next phase and Godwilling, I'll be successful.

Peace

Hi all. I have just found the study opportunity in Poland as an alternative to Germany.

I checked some courses online in Poland already and most have their deadlines for ending of this month August 2020.

This is approximately 2 weeks before deadline.

From your experiences, if i started (from zero) with the application this week, can i still make it before the deadline?

Your responses are most appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, if your school doesn't require authenticated/legalized copies of your certificates and you have the application fees

Goodmorning Everyone,
My Brother was transferred to work in Poland and will be travelling soon now that the ban on international flight has been lifted.
He has advised that i seek admission for MSC program in Poland,as he was told that the tuition fees is not so much.
Please I would want to know if having a block account is part of the requirement in getting the student visa and how much can one have in the account? Also,my fears is on communication, not been able to speak or understand the Language. What will be ones chances of getting an office job after one secures a work permit after studies?
I will appreciate a good response.

I will advise you to read this thread from the begining to be able to answer some of the questions you're asking. Some schools are already rounding off their masters enrollment process so I'd advise you get to the research as soon as possible if you want to get admitted in this intake. My two cents.

Hi,
Please what is done at MOE and not done at MOF... or one can authenticate and get eligibility letter At MOE alone?
Please break it down...

From what I deduced during my own process.
At MOE:
-You give them your WAEC scratch card to verify your WAEC results
-They authenticate your certificate and transcript with the crest and sign twice at the back with date.
-They issue you eligibility letter sealed with stamps stating 'original' twice.

At MFA:
-They sign on the already signed certificates and transcripts.
-They also crest the documents.
-They also sign on other documents that you want legalized at the embassy like birth certificates, eligibility letter from MOE etc.

At some point in one of the ministries they request your passport photograph. I don't really know the ministry because I did my authentication by proxy. If there's something I missed others can assist.

Attached:
1) sample eligibility letter for Masters/Postgraduate studies
2) sample cresting and signature done on the certificate

And also how much should I budget. Thank you

Most times, the parents are negligent and allow their kids eat whatever they want. In their mind, it's baby fat that will slough off naturally with age. Most times, they're dead wrong.

I think what is been said is that you need to submit a secondary school diploma and transcripts that are authenticated by the MOE & MFA and also submit an eligibility letter that qualifies you to study too

Thank you so much for the response but how can I get the eligibility letter

Go to the Ministry of Education and find out

Happy Sunday guys, the schools I have applied to kept rejecting my credentials and said I need to authenticate them with the polish embassy, anyway out please??

Look for other schools that don't require authentication before granting admission.

Hello everyone, I want to apply for MSC in Poland but I d not have the original copies of my certificate. (I have an outstanding loan with a ban and my certificate were used as guarantee). Would this affect my application?
I have all the soft copies and they can reprinted.

Some schools will accept the scanned copies for the application process but when you're admitted, they may require you to get the certificates authenticated at the Ministries of Education and Foreign Affairs. Authentication requires original copies of the certificates. So in essence, try and pay back your loan so you can get your certificates back

Please, I have heard about master's scholarship in Poland, please, does anybody have an info on how to go about it and are there cost implications and like how much pls?

Scholarship in Poland is the same as scholarship in other countries, you apply and get it. For Poland most scholarships come as tuition free courses so you have to do some research to find the schools and courses and apply. There are other scholarships like NAWA scholarship which are for specialized courses.
Any agent telling you to pay so so amount of money for scholarship can only try to help you get admitted to tuition free courses. I hope this helps

She claims to be on 18k salary, gives let's say on average 14k to parents and siblings.Left with 4k monthly and sometimes even less. For eg,after the last salary, she was left with just 1k.
Ask yourself how does she commute to work?
How does she feed?
How does she buy toiletries as a female on a monthly basis.
Unless she is into other runs which her parents and siblings know about and are not ashamed to indirectly be encouraging and are thus subtly using it to blackmail her into getting more money because they know she earns more money from her other runs.
That is the only logical reasoning here because she can't survive on the mere 3k she is left with monthly.

Ok

One chance

To deal effectively with the issue, you should come out pomp and plain and let your brother know you can't take care of his kids for him. It's as simple as that. Getting married just because of this is like cutting your nose to spite your face, it's a lose-lose situation.
