Romance / Re: Now Who Should Sacrifice Here And What Is Sacrifice Anyway by Amario(m): 7:17am On Jun 12, 2011

Now note this: They husband doesnt earn much but this job could be their dream come true.
At the time of being told the story they were not in talking terms and not sharing the bed/room together. Its gotten soo bad its a break or make situation.

Question now: who should sacrifice here and whey?

Well is not an easy choice, But since they are already staying apart from eachother suggest some level of disconnect. This is the time they need to stay close to each other the more and discuss ideas. No body know their relationship better than the concerned and the major decision lies within them.
If it were me Hmmmmmm, I will let her take the job since is a dream job, meaning is what we have actually been praying for, both in terms of finance and career break through, it doesnt matter if it is the he or she that gets it.

What can be done is this:

1. She Starts the Job and we observe the progress of the job (Say during a year period) and how we manage ourselves
2. She is not oblige to work for the 5years of the contract, so if #1 above is not working then she can quit.
3. During this observation time (say Within a year) we look for another dream job(Since we got one, another should not be impossible to get) either for her or for myself that will keep us together, either in that foreign country or back in Nigeria

I believe that should be my initial decision, I can't understand how a couple can move from praying together for a dream break through finally get what they call a break through and begin to stay apart from eachother, Where they praying to find something that will make them separate?, I believe as a couple nothing can be resolved if u stay apart, they must remain firm and tackle the issue same way they got the job by togetherness,

STAY WELL
Events / Re: Dear Guest, You Are Cordially Invited. But Haba It’s Not Your Wedding! by Amario(m): 7:28am On Jun 09, 2011

Wearing body hugging, skimpy and short outfits (that leaves very little to the imagination) with ''10 inches high heels'' is the in-thing in Lagos weddings now.

I nor blame the gals sha. . . dem gats show off their assets, market themselves and hook their own ''bobo'' grin grin

I wonder if this ladies feel thats the way to catch their bobo, I dont think most guys are actually interested in stuffs like that for a future wife, else is for pleasure,
Thats where most girls get it wrong.
Dress Smart and pretty is OK and u stand a better chance, But if u get a guy by exposing ur cute assets, it wont last cos the guy would some find another asset Juicer than urs,

Sports / Re: Mikel Rated Second Best Ball Passer In Premier League. by Amario(m): 11:26am On Sep 17, 2010
I want Mikel to keep doing his best and continue to improve. He is Obviously our Best player at the Moment.
I don't mind my Team Liverpool finishing 2nd to Chelsea at the end of the season as long as it was Mikel who helped them all the way

Its Sad that this is happening to a country like nigeria with so much talents
Our FA is Sick they shound stop thinking of their pockets alone but also on the way of helping nigeria football. e.g Ensuring good foeld, encouraging footballers and so on,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Education / Re: What Next For Obafemi Awolowo University (After Closure)? by Amario(m): 1:18am On Mar 30, 2007
Its no longer news when people see us at home. The first thing that comes to their minds is that what happened AGAIN.
Great Ife are we really Great? This is a question we constantly have to ask ourself.
Our situation has gone so bad that one is confused on who is right or wrong. Everyone claims to be right. Both the School admistration and the student union.
One thing I see that kills IFE is PRIDE from all facets of Leadership.
On this issue of closure it wouldn't cause the school anything to have given the one week students asked for on the other hand what will it cause the Student Union to have demanded for maybe Three (3days) when they see that that the u admistration is not willing to let go.

WAY FORWARD
I will like to say that our leaders(school Adm) should plan ahead to avoid urgly circumstances Like this and also never take the students(Student union) for granted, Take for instance if the VC knows that he wasn't going to extend the exams further, He would have ensured that he made this very very clear to all the students and staff(Lecturers) through to use of bills and posters and also through heads of different organisation e.g Fellowships, registered clubs e.t.c
Again he would have ensured strictly that no lecture goes on during the lecture free week. this he would have done cautioning the lecturers way before time to finish their syllabus at the required time(With this there would have been no crises).
This shows that there need be better and more efficient communication btw the School Admistration and the Students at large. Also non of our Leaders should see themself as "OGA" they have all come to SERVE and not to be SERVED
