Yes I agree,
But women caged themselves more than the society caged them.
I believe you are right at the bolded.Because even in this century some women have refused to empower themselves and change from the status quo.It was nice discussing with you devoid of insults.Have a blessed day.

Nobody is telling any woman how to live her live, the point her is that women Relegated themselves, while men were at the forefront; making breakthroughs in science and politics, nobody made a rule that women should not be given a chance... Look at your history chat for example, fewer women than men made ground breaking discoveries, except for a few like love lace Ada, the rule of the society is that respect and status increases the more you contribute to the society, from where I come from, respect is earned and it's not something you dish out like a plate of food, the fewer women who did extraordinary things got equal recognition like there male counterparts, women like Queen Victoria, Ada love lace, Marie Curie, Hillary Clinton and Co earned there respect... But this days, even an instagram twerker is playing feminist and begging for respect... We don't beg for respect, we earn respect.
Truth is women were caged back then.
And are currently being liberated.
And I agree with you respect is earned.
Good night.

You read my post with a preconceived notion of what I was trying to imply, that's not cool.

Who's worrying for the lady's choice? Didn't you read where I was wishing her luck finding someone, who agrees to her terms?
Okay bye.
You need not tell me about your plans with your future wife whether or not she answers your name I didn't ask you

Great, let her hold on to that philosophy tightly and never let go under any circumstance, while she waits for the man that would accept her marriage terms, as for me, you're taking my name as my wife.
You can tell that to the woman you marry and if she agrees no problem but forcing her.You are stepping out of bounds.
If you are so interested in the surname to be uniform you can change yours to hers it is not a crime.
You need not worry for the lady a man that shares her ideas would come. She has every right to choose what she wants.

With all due respect to chimamanda and Kim Kardashian and Co, I don't place them in the same league as Hillary and Curie
I don't care the main issue is are they successful in their fields yes or no?...
Greatness get level, this women are celebrated world wide and still manage to know that family should not be messed with.
The likes of chimamanda and the other famous women who refuse to bear their spouses names did not say that family should be messed with...
If you notice, it irrelevant people who make a storm out of a tea cup, a busy mind doesn't have time for silly thoughts like this
Who told you this?under the law no one is irrelevant we all have what is of important and less concern to us.
,
it's as if u are at war with men, the last name of your name should not be bothering you if u have better things to think of
..Your name is your identity so keeping it or not is an important thing to think of.
Pls I am a supporter of womens right and I believe in equal rights, but modern day feminist seem to hold a grudge against men and have completely misunderstood the real essence of feminism
I am not questioning you on that? Feminism is the liberation of women from patriarchy and change of surname or not is a part of it.Nobody is missing anything in sone countries women keep their surnames and the children bear both parents surnames.
fights for womens right, and I don't see how a womans last name has any thing to do with her rights. It's just for easier identity and status in the society.
It does because women have rights to choose whether or not to keep it and freedom of identification is a right for humans.Every individual has a right to choose you do not categorise or tell liberated women what is of relevance to them. And it is a part of womens rights.

Why dnt ladies pay GROOMprice?
If ladies say they want to pay groom price.
Majority of you men would say it is unafrican and not your culture.
Besides no price should be paid on anybody.
Because some men managed to pay 50 naira bride price on their wives does not give them the right to treat them any how.

Chimamanda and Co that did not change their own names after marriage.
Are they not still successful and breaking glass ceilings. It has nothing to do with your success story.
Change of name is a choice and not a must.

Hmmm, Good to know.

So you see nothing wrong in what he said? No wonder.

Seems you are also praying for a menopausal lady who can't bear children to marry you, so you can cheat on her while she desperately tries to please you just to get you to stay faithful. Stressing and tormenting the poor innocent lady just for your pleasure

I agree with Falzl I am human first then a Nigerian before anything we need to stop dividing ourselves along ethnic and religious lines.

Messi is a GOAT.
He has been compared to many greats in football not CR7. cool
He doesn't need to leave Barcelona he is a legend.
I love CR7 more than Messi in many things but in football I give it to Messi.
CR7 himself would have left Madrid to a bottom place club in serie A so as for him to help them make the top four but he went to Juventus an already made team grin that would win the league with or without him.

Thank you for this. The get Rich Mentality is a plague and ultimately a curse. Our politicians sadly created and feed this ignoble and dark syndrome by stealing public funds and getting away with it whilst doing nothing credible in office.

Is that not stealing, Corprate/political armed robbery? They set the bad examples to the yahoo boys who now defraud and in their minds believe there is nothing wrong with it... The Get Rich Quick Syndrome.

Also our social and moral mindset has been distorted and turned on it head. In civil climes criminals are not celebrated no matter what, if the source of ur wealth is questionable u cannot be a public figure worthy of praise from govt or credible quarters. U are always seen as a blacksheep of society even if u have billions cos the source of ur wealth is public knowledge.

Anybody whose wealth cannot be explained is shady not worthy of public praise so as not to encourage shady practices and crime.

We have a FAILED SYSTEM unable to effectively discourage social vices. The solution is to evolve positively by upholding the right values in society and Govt or else we will go nowhere and achieve nothing significant.

Majority of the problem we have comes from these religious houses, even the religious leaders are also out for same goal an average Nigerian youth has, for them they care less on how the money comes, what's more important to them is for them to bring money into the church, so them(religious heads) can also build big houses at their villages and live in affluence, that's all that matters to them as well, not dignity in labour or value system. That's why you see them giving from seats and prestigious positions to politicians and other influential People, and care less about legitimate individuals with legitimate means.

For your message area when you tap on change color what ever shows in any of the colors you click.Replicate it on your signature or try to copy the format in a book or something and replicate it on your signature.Exactly the way it is.I don't know how else to explain.

how did you add colours (difference ones on your signature )how did you do it? Could like to know as well.
Same thing the way it is written on your message area apply it on your signature. If you want red.on the message area after you tap on change color tap red it what it shows you replicate it on your signature .e.g red you would see (write what you want in the middle) this would give you red I didn't join it together so that you can understand but when doing yours ensure that you join it together so as for it to work on your signature. It is the same format for any color you want but note that the number for red is for red only same thing applies to the other colors try to replicate how it is shown in your message area when you tap any of the colors replicate it on your signature it would work.If you don't understand it and couldn't get it mention me again and I would try to explain in simpler terms.
