Business › Re: Please I Need Business Ideas For A Student In 2024 by ambale(m): 8:42pm On Jun 20, 2024
PinkNature:
Happy holidays to everyone..

I need advice from Nairalanders who are business inclined or men who have an idea, first hand experience or anything kind of input will be beneficial.

In school, my friend started a POS shop, where he also sells other accessories like chargers, headphones, earpiece and he also charges phones in his shop. He's a student just like me but a level higher. He employed someone who works for him in the shop, but always supervise everything that goes on in the shop.

Before this holidays, he had a man to man conversation with me, that he wanted me start up something for myself because he wants me to grow as he's also growing. (Because I'm always broke in school and I sometimes borrow money from him) He suggested that I should use the platform already existing (Front of his shop and also the advantage of the already existing customers) to start up my own business.

He suggested SIM card registration and told me to make research about the business, make some savings and he is also willing to give out a little loan to support me.

Right now, I do not yet have the capital to start so I'm saving up from now to mid 2024 or earlier if God speeds up the process. I'm also a bit skeptical on how rewarding SIM card registration will be.

So I'm still open to any rewarding/profitable business I can start with budget of 50k to 100k and will not affect my studies.. because I do not have the capacity to employ a staff right now.

(Registering of Opay ATM's and sales of Female shoes is out of it because he wishes to start up the formal for himself and latter for his woman)

I need advice please God bless you.

No one says he doesn't have the right to speak up, but you don't go on Instagram live to start attacking your coach and your nation

He could have requested a meeting with the press or the NFF themselves

When Napoli belittled him, his venom no come up then oooo, he should have tried it with them now and see how fast things will go down

Yes Nigeria is not where we should be, but we shouldn't allow anyone look down on the country

And to even say Finidi is a legend of Nigerian football, it shows how disrespectful Osimhen is.

He's on his own on this matter ooo,cos no sensible person will side him, pass your message through the right channel

Not going on Instagram live and ranting like a tout

I have a perfect relationship with him.

But I'm just concerned about the extent his political power can attain.
Then you should have no problems then

At least he has an edge in the local government, he can help you with contracts also

Just position yourself wella
Politics › Re: What Help Can A Local Government Chairman Render. by ambale(m): 3:15pm On Jun 15, 2024
The first question you need to answer is do you have a long standing relationship with him?

This would pave a way for you while communicating your needs to him

I thought one of the defence to subsidy removal is it helps the government save more

I have always known that subsidy is just an organized crime by the elite to rip the poor

The president needs to start seeking help within and without

It looks like he's just an island on his own, that wants all to worship him

Atleast he should try to always be in sync with his men

Two of his official spokesmen were downplaying the fall yesterday, even his unofficial spokesman was also shouting like who just tear cloth enter marker

Only for the president to come out with this

Baba just wanna answer president and smoke his ganja and that's all he cared about🤔🤔

Simple and straight, all these subsidy, they are just like 10% of the issues

But the government keep on attacking the few crumbs the people enjoy from

LegendHero:
Don’t worry, Nigeria will still be better. Even Tinubu admitted today that his policy is still currently making life hard for Nigerians but he want people to preserve while the policy take shape.

He still has 3 more years to go, I am confident he will steady the flow. If Nigerians see that after 4 years, things remain bad, then they should vote him out.
Imagine if we follow this your analogy and no one to keep the president in check

Dollar will be hovering around 2,500 now, fuel will be like 1500 per liter

Rice would have been around 100k or more, so how then will his policies make a positive impact

Opposition strengthens a nation, let people that want to condemn condemn, you should only argue with a superior fact which none is on ground at the moment

An economy where even big businesses are struggling is the same one you are hoping will turn around

Until the president shows adequate will to support businesses at this trying time, nothing changes

Youthfulness allows one to accept criticisms while old age dey demand for respect always

Well thinking Nigerians do not believe Peter Obi is different from Tinubu and Atiku or even Buhari. If we were to do a census of obidients today, more than 90% would be Igbos, and the massive support is purely tribal/sentimental. Putting an old equipment in a new carton does not change the quality of the equipment.
How does this relate to his comment??

It's simple, you can't be saying Nigeria is broke, but you and your family are living in affluence

The other day, the SGF was saying he couldn't pay his drivers 100k as minimum and his outfit should well be more than a million naira

He would have drove a bulletproof car that will not be less than 250m there with plenty security

And you are here telling someone living on 60k wage to keep calm that thing are tight

Is that not madness??

Well, in facts, everything good cost so much money, but what is required of the leadership and government is to put people in place to be able to afford those expensive things. Total socialism is hard for such a poor country. Simple, but the leaders default.
Our problems is not total socialism as we don't even practice that

We are too wasteful as people, you see government officials living fat on corrupt practices and the institutions have failed to check them

Just imagine an officer whose salary is not up to 200k having more than 5 houses and buses for transportation

These guys take out the humanity in us and turn the entire nation into home of monsters

There's no money anywhere in nigeria.

The only source of income is oil . Nothing more.

The only way to generate money is building companies and making already made ones functioning. But why can't them function?

Why can't ph refinery work?
Why can't ajokuta steel work
Why can't textile industry work.
Why can't indigenous people doing bunkers be supported with good equipment and be put under product control?

The answer is . NIGERIA IS A BUSINESS FEILD OF BRITISH.

YOUR REFINERY CANT WORK BECAUSE BRITISH WILL STOP SELLING REFINED PRODUCT TO YOU.

EVEN IF PETER OBI BECOMES PRESIDENT. IT WONT STILL CHANGE ANYTHING.

NIGERIAN ARE STILL SLAVE
Oga shut up jere, do you know how much non state actors make on a daily extorting traders and citizens?

There is enough money in the informal sectors but the government dey use non state actors to mop it up, while they keep everyone eyes on the oil

The problem we have is our leaders are too mentally lazy, they only care about making enuf for themselves and families

One would have thought by now, they would have ordered their owomifa boys to cut monies they collect from transporters by Atleast 70%

Give a stern warning to security operatives to desist from collecting unwarranted monies from transporters

Reduce the action of non state actors that just want to rip the next person off

And see things come down to normal a bit

But these are their guys, and na where Dem dey chop be that

I heard a shocking revelation recently, that agberos in Lagos receives same amount that an owner receives from the driver daily so he pays two master same amount

And you want him to reduce his fares so as to run at a loss
