Christianity Etc › Re: What Christian On Nairaland Should Never Do. by Amberon: 3:07am On May 11, 2017
As christians we shouldn't run from atheists. Like bennyann said, we are to draw close to them and show them the love of christ by our words and actions (though I've failed so many times in that regard) but that is because I was not able to stand some of their incessant insults against the most high and I often lost it and clapped back.

That being said, the atheists are there for a purpose and that is to test or strengthen our faith. Contrary to the opinions of many who said NL atheists made them lose their faith, these NL atheists actually helped strengthen and shape my faith. I already knew God was real due to the many proofs I had seen firsthand throughout my lifetime , so their talks couldn't break me but rather it molded and shaped me and right now my faith is rock solid.
Christianity Etc › Re: I Am An Atheist, How Will I Escape The Upcoming Ramadan Fasting by Amberon: 2:49am On May 11, 2017
Lol... A closet atheist who probably only flexes his muscles on Christians online but is perceived as a devout Muslim by his folks. What a life of deception.

Well since you already started a deceptive life why not go all the way. Pretend to be fasting but once everyday, go someone (quite far) and treat yourself to a nice meal. Whatever you do, be sure to not get caught by people you know. Before the fast commences, buy snacks and hide them in your wardrobe so you can eat when you're alone.

If you love yourself and your future, don't even try to tell your parents you renounced Islam. Only do so when you're financially independent.

What exactly has this post got to do with fake pastors? Are you sure you are okay?
proudafrogal:
Christians are cry babies whining up and down because their fake pastor was criticized.

@OP buy snacks and drinks and hide in your room Shekina.

wow! This is really cool. There is a channel on youtube that shows videos of some urhobo cartoons. They're actually doing a good job.
fratermathy:
Nice one! Urhobo language will be revived through programmes like this. I have hope for the future of Urhobo nation. It'll also be beneficial to have a dedicated Urhobo language radio/tv station. Billboards and adverts charging people to speak Urhobo should be created as well. Urhobo is not inferior to any language whatsoever. We shall get there soon.

Real estate? Are you kidding? Just google golf estate, and rainbow town to mention a few.
majekdom2:
I just gave an example.... do you want more?? What's the FDI indices?? After 8 year of Greater Port harcourt, where are the real estate and development investment. Aside oil, what does PH pride itself on. See, truth is Port harcourt is not competitive. Given the resources both cities have, Ibadan is doing better.

You are oblivious of what electricity encompasses.
badbreathcure101:
That has to be electricity....the world took a second turn the moment whites started to creat a manmade sun

Every other thing runs on electricity. The full potentials of electricity is yet to be harnessed.

But then we now have solar, i think solar will make electricity absolete real soon, planes and aircraft word run on solar energy...
Christianity Etc › Re: Dear Christians, Muslims Only Pray In The Name Of God by Amberon:
You were making sense before you said the bolded and it just shows how domineering you people are. So because of the presence of muslims us christians should compromise our prayers?

Jesus Christ is our God, and any prayer that is not done in the name of Jesus is a waste of time.

You cannot compel us to pray without saying "in Jesus name". In the same vein, you are not compelled to say Amen just as we also are not compelled to say amen to your prayers. But saying we should not pray in the name of Jesus in religious gatherings is insanity.
kesmalindo:
Since we all have the understanding of praying in God's name, it is best for all of us (Muslims and Christians) to pray ONLY in God's name in gatherings that have both Muslim and Christian attendance.

You are not informed. Crude oil is mostly transported from port Harcourt. Only non-oil shipments go through Lagos. And there was never a time cocoa was the major revenue, Never! The major revenue was oil palm from the south south.

Don't worry someone will post the proof here soon enough.
Henrydone:
You are the one distorting fact, cocoa was the major revenue then, even nw that oil takes the plate, they are transported through our port and remember Ondo contribute 13% of nigeria oil.
Politics › Re: 10 Most Developed State Capitals In Nigeria-opinion by Amberon: 5:51am On May 10, 2017

afonja u lied badly. it is a historic fact that palm oil from East south south contributed 60% of imperial revenue from nigeria. keep distorting fact.

Lol, Ibadan doing better ? Is that sarcasm? So to you nightlife = doing better?,
majekdom2:
u no well. If ibadan dey compete with likes of dubai then wetin port harcourt and bayelsa or delta suppose dey compete with. Ibadan lost it the moment cocoa lost it to oil as the nation's source of revenue. If Cocoa industry is still being explored as it ought to, ibadan will be no match. 60 years of oil exploration and Port harcourt no even small lagos. Whats the IGR for ibadan ten years ago. Port harcourt allocation alone tripled it. Yet in my opinion, ibadan is doing better.
Politics › Re: 10 Most Developed State Capitals In Nigeria-opinion by Amberon: 9:43pm On May 09, 2017
There was NEVER a time, the west and north fed Nigeria. That is very False. The money that built railways and almost everything else came from the proceeds of oil palm from the south south. The proof is there for all to see. Google is your friend.
taiwo3489:
Stop advertising your ignorance everywhere, before the discovery of crude oil, Nigeria as a source of revenue from exporting cocoa and groundnut, cocoa from the west, groundnut from the north and they still share the income with the east, so now that the reverse is the case, you are complaining...It either you are ignorant or an hypocrite...

Hahahahahaha. Uyota, Ihwo na gini morue. lol.
fratermathy:
Amberon is proudly Urhobo.

My problem with you guys is that you tend to call everyone (a vast number of people, I must add, of which Urhobos are in the majority) who have aversions to IPOB thought and Igbo sentiments, "Afonjas" or "Yorubas". Such myopic thinking that anyone who isn't Igbo must be Yoruba/Hausa is one of the reasons why Southern minorities will always remain cautious of the Igbo imperialist interests in the South (especially to the non-Igboid groups)!

@thread:
Pat Utomi should be more careful with words, especially in cases that can spark off controversies such as this. To think that he prides himself as a Presidential aspirant is quite saddening. Politicians should always learn from the best of their kind who avoid controversies. For an academic, Utomi certainly talks too much and his statements can easily be contextualised.

Biko just ignore that Yoruba woman. She is always lusting after Igbo men. That's why she is quoting every Nwafor. Ignore the shameless woman. She needs to go and mate with her fellow afonjas. She is a lost soul. See how quickly she denied her people and started claiming Urhobo. She thinks we were born yesterday. grin

This Yoruba woman - no matter how hard you try, I will never find you attractive. We know you lots lust after Igbo men (the Nwafor that we are).
But we don't want you. Go and mate with your afonja men. Its not by force. And claiming you are Urhobo is so sad. I know Urhobos, and when the chips are down, many Urhobos will choose Biafra over the zoo. You are just exposing yourself all over this thread. EVERYBODY knows you are from Ogbomosho - stop disgracing yourself and denying your people. It is very pathetic.
