The governor's account is 110% the true account of what transpired.
The army said Gana was killed and hundreds of his militants captured when their convoy was intercepted at about noon.
We should ask ourselves how Gana,a wanted man with N10million ransom on his head,would brazenly go about at daytime with so many fellow militants with weapons.They were by the army's account then confronted and he got killed while others were captured with no confrontation or casualty on the army's side!
Haba,some of these authorities give releases with the apparent assumption the same dumbskulls that voted Buhari are the same audience they are speaking or writing to.
The same army that have casualties anytime they confront barefooted or slippers wearing,untrained BH terrorists.
The same army and government that frees BH terrorists and even compensates them is the one now giving this clearly false account of what happened.
The truth is that Gana and other militants must have been intercepted by the army,they apparently told the army their mission to government house to surrender ,which usually is made more dramatic with the surrender of some weapons,they apparently handed over their weapons to the troops;but someone still ordered Gana alone be shot dead.
Any other tale is cock and bull.
Gana was killed and he may have reaped the reward of his deeds,but not in a confrontation.

I have spent almost 30 minutes trying to get a full grasp of the sort of person that he was- hero/villain- but I have been left all the more confused by all the comments that I have read here.

He didn't even know he was in the den for 4 days.

All these things happen to you because you think opening your legs for a man you love would keep him tied down to you forever. I can guess you open them too early than most girls do which is wrong. The logic IS;

When you get into a relationship with a man, first, focus on building that relationship with him, work towards making him see you as a wife material as past experiences may have diverted his ways of thought towards woman and make him see you as no different from the others other than as a sex object. Show him love, care and attention and monitor to see if he'll do same. See if he'll detach himself little by little because you've not offered sex, see if he's reciprocating the love, care, attention and commitment even more than you do, take things easy, don't be too demanding, show him that you love him genuinely without pretence and study his behaviour when he asks for sex the first time and you refuse, if he still hangs around, then when in a romantic scenario, ask him if he loves you, if he says yes with seriousness and ask you why you had to ask, then explain to him how you have been hurt by pple you trust and love in the past and how you don't want to go through that path again...
