Please bring back the blind scan feature. Because one has to manually input all the frequency to a newly installed sat. Which can be a difficult task to deal with, if you do not remember each and everyone of the frequencies that exist under that sat position.

Till this very day, I can't possibly think of any downside reason to eliminate such a feature that makes a decoder stands out from the rest.

It can really be a turn off to many users who don't have the patience to go through such technicalities.

Please give it a thought, because I believe I speak for many who are not happy about such a feature being removed.

The next thing they will do is to remove the FTA feature.

From my observation, your dish installation matters to be able to successfully use sat director. When well installed(the hanger the dish is hung must be straight), then it's easier to use sat director, and an inexpensive sat finder(less than NGN2000) to confirm you in a sat position.

You can tweak your lnb or inclination a bit to improve your signal quality. That's what I've been using so far as a newbie and the success rate has been about 90%.

Remember that satfinder can only be powered by the receiver and you still have to input the to.
A good satfinder will get the job done even when there's power failure. You can even scan and veiw the channels to be sure of the date.
Sometimes, you need to install on a high roof. All you need is a short cable from your lnb to the satfinder. After installing, you can connect the cable and scan with the receiver

These NURTW collects high levies from drivers without considering what will be drivers income at the end of the day. Let me use Oshodi as example, over 20 agbero will collect levies from just one driver & in return driver will transfer the aggression on innocent passenger by increasing transportation cost. These NURTW don't check veichle Tyre, numbers of passengers, engine conditions, because all they know is for driver to load their buses & they get paid. functions of NURTW is to always check each vehicles doing interstate transport every morning to know the vehicle is in good shape, check Tyre to know it's not expired or worn out, organize seminars for drivers from time to time but they don't do that except to collect money & bounce

And it's annoying...what pains me the most is the removal of RF in/out ports and then the unrepairable 3.5mm AV port.

Companies be foolishly copying DSTV,even pained me more when our beloved strong did it too.

We all love that small form factor and sleekness but I wouldn't trade it for the RF ports.
