According to ukvi, a decision has been made on my application since a long time, but they've refused to send it to VAC. ss2020: Taking a decision on our application is now very difficult cos some of our supporting documents may no longer be valid. And their reason for travel is no longer feasible. The 5months break has changed a lot. Myself for example applied for a business training that was to hold ending of march/beginning of April. That has long passed, so its not easy for them to decide whether to grant or not to grant. For the new guys applying, their own is straightforward and much easier. Anyway am still hopeful to get my visa. My training will be rescheduled. For now no new date has even been fixed |

I'm seriously fed up! Is it a crime to apply in March? They're yet to clear backlogs, yet new applications are being given priority. johnez1987: I don’t know what is happening. Those who did biometrics before lockdown have not gotten a decision while those that did in July are getting. Is this not madness? |

I got the same mail few months ago. It simply means they're unable to process her application within the standard time frame. It may take longer than usual to process it. When did she apply and when did she get the mail? MrsAnyanwu: I need urgent answer please... My daughter got a mail from UK Visa office that her application has not been straight forward that they would be unable to decide but if something changes they would let us know.. Please what does it mean, she wanted to relocate with her family. She's married but hasn't changed her name officially on her passport ... Respond quickly please... She's losing her mind |

This is really a tough time for many people who made visa applications in March. Some people have contacted ukvi and they confirmed a decision has been made on their application, yet it has not been sent back to VAC. I pray they resolve all pending applications soonest. Symbae: I think you should contact the ukvi to find out if a decision has been made on your application before contacting the TLS |

I think you should login to your visa application page via gov.uk where you'll be redirected to TLS contact website. You should be able to add courier service to your cart. By the way, what kind of visa did you apply for and when was your biometric? Rex82: Hi Everyone,
Please can anyone help with information on how to add the Express Courier Return Service after receiving this email

*It fits with Children Protection Act, to guarantee that we are giving the passport back to one of the parents.
You can check collection times and the Centre address on the Address and opening hours page. I have used the contact form as instructed in email, but nobody have contacted me. I used the TLSContact in Ikeja. Does anyone know have a contact number for the Ikeja office or any information on how I can add the express courier return services?[ |

Congratulations, please when did you appear for biometrics? ugosimba: Good Evening All,
I submitted my application in March got a survey questionnaire in April (but was skeptical in answering the questions) lockdown took over, after lockdown no response from Tls as to status update. I went today for collection of passport, Visa approved after 10 years UK ban.
I have benefitted from nairaland alot, since 2014 especially in the US section.
My candid advice is to read from scratch, take notes, learn from others,do the right thing and pray.
Hardwork pays off.
Thank you JESUS nara ekene mo |

Keep My Passport When Applying This service allows you to keep your passport the maximum possible time during the visa decision process. The basic points of this service are: 1, you still need to bring your passport to your appointment, but it will be given back to you before you leave the Visa Application Centre. 2, once the decision of your visa application has been made by the UK Visas and Immigration, you will be notified by email, then you need to provide your passport to the Visa Application Centre (by post or in person) within 28 days. If you don’t provide your passport within this timeframe, your visa application will be refused. 3, once received, we aim to complete the application and return your passport within 7 calendar days. oyin000000: Good day everyone. I want to change my proposed travel date but I have submitted my form online. I havent gone to TLS though. Is there anything I can do to correct this? Also, how does Keep my passport work? and how many days after I am told to submit my passport do I get it back? |
