A roadside bomb which was planted by the Nigerian Military against Boko Haram was detonated killing three soldiers and injuring several others on Thursday, the Peoples Gazzete reported

The bomb reportedly went off at the entrance of 27 Task Force Brigade in Buni Gari, after it was struck by lightning

The bodies of the three soldiers that died have been deposited at the military hospital, while those that suffered injuries are receiving treatment at the hospital

Names of those affected by the bomb blast have not been published to allow the military authorities notify their family members.

A military spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request to comment on the incident

There is a disturbing video making the rounds in which a group of men were seen flogging a naked woman.

The men held her and pinned her to the floor while she was flogged mercilessly all over her body. She was seen screaming and begging them but they did not yield to her plea

The women pleaded with them in Igbo saying, "Daddy please... brother please... mummy..." But the men which were up to four did not listen. She even screamed "Jesus" but they continued flogging her

When her screaming became too loud one of the men covered her mouth with a rag and they continued flogging her

At this point all her behind was covered with marks from the flogging. They then poured water on her behind and they continued flogging her wet buttock and other part of her body.

They told her they will start the flogging from the beginning if she resists the flogging further. She said please but a voice said "shut up"

At this point she became too weak to struggle, she was about to pass out. All her body had turn pink with marks from the flogging. Then a voice ordered them to pour water on her. And they pour water all over her body.

She was lying on her back and closing her legs. Then the men ordered her to open her legs. She hesitated, then they kept flogging her and forcing her to open her leg for them to see her private part.

She had no choice but to open her legs and they started flogging her on her private part. She covered it because of the pain but they shouted at her to remove her hands.

They video was horrific, many people that commented were pleading for help to located the men that perpetrated such evil.

Iniobong Umoren is not the only victim of suspected psychopath, rapist and killer, Uduak Frank

Information our blog, Starmedianaija has been able to gather on Twitter has revealed that, Uduak Frank Akpan may have had other several victims.

Uduak Apkan is one of the suspects who have been arrested in connection with the missing lady from Akwa Ibom State. Uduak has reportedly confessed to have been responsible for her disappearance. He confessed to the police that he raped her before killing and burying her body.

Iniobong Umoren is apparently not his only victim

@amirable_eme shared a video she claimed to have been made by a man on Facebook. The man in the video said they were at the scene waiting for the body of  Iniobong Umoren to be exhumed.

According to the man in the video, the body of Iniobong Umoren was not the only body buried in the place

"The issue is that we are still waiting for the body, because it has been confirmed anyway, so we just want the police to come, to go get the body, because from the look of things, I think they have more than one body in that place..."

Another Twitter user @BriyaneAdu also shared two other story in which the suspect Uduak allegedly raped another girl and also threatened another lady with rape.

In the first story Uduak lured the the lady who was also looking for job, from Calabar to Uyo.

He took the lady to an uncompleted building were he threatened to kill her with a weapon after he raped her

A man born with male organ has narrated how he woke up from sleep and discovered that he had a female sex organ

According to him, he went to bed as a man after having misunderstanding with his ex-girlfriend and discovered the next day that he had a female organ alongside his male organ. The female organ was active while the male organ was inactive. Lindaikejisblog posted

The house of the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodima in his country home, Omuma, Oru East local government area of Imo state, has been set ablaze

The tragic incident occurred on Saturday, April 24. The house including several official vehicles were seen on fire.

Also touched by the fire was the Governor's Rolls Royce and the security house.

Vanguard reported that a lifeless body was also seen at the front of the Governors house.

2 soldiers have been killed and prisoners freed in Owerri, Imo State by group of assailants suspected to be members of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, in the early hours of Monday.

According to dailynigeria.com, the assailants attacked the correctional facility in the state capital, which led to the escape of about 1500 inmates. However, officials of the Nigerian Correctional service are yet to speak about the attack. After attacking the correctional facility, they reportedly attacked the State Police Command HQ in which about 30 vehicles were burnt

The attackers were also reported to have damaged four Hilux vehicles and an armoured personnel carrier, APC.

Reports have it that the attackers operated freely for more than two hours before leaving the scene in a convoy of vehicles, comprising buses and cars.

Military sources disclosed that when the assailants were retreating they attacked a military checkpoint and kill two soldiers on duty, while two others sustained injury. The body of one of the diseased soldiers was reportedly set ablaze.

“The soldiers were on duty at the checkpoints along Onitsha Road when the gunmen opened fire on them.

“They killed two soldiers and burnt the remains of one the soldiers. They also injured two other soldiers.

“In the same attack on the checkpoints, they destroyed four Hilux vehicles belonging to the military,” the source disclosed."

The Inspector General of police who spoke about the incident said the attack was carried out by members of IPOB and ESN who where much in numbers and carrying modern weapons such as General Purpose Machine Guns (GPMGs), Sub-Machine Guns (SMGs), AK49 rifles, Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs), Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs), for the operation.

Governor Hope Uzodima who spoke with newsmen after he visited the scene of the incident to assess the level of damage, said government will rise to the challenge posed by IPOB and ESN. The Governor also said no life was lost.

Ayo Sogunro in a recent post on Twitter, apparently suggested that Christianity may fall into oblivion, he also said that Jesus was a Jew, who lived, worshiped and died a jew

In his post on Twitter, Sogunro quoted from a book written by Mencken H.L. (1880 – 1956) who was an American journalist, where he talked about how many great gods worshiped by men in the past have all died and fallen into oblivion.

About 50 cows have reportedly died on Monday evening at Ibaka area of the community, according to Sahara Reporters
The ugly incident was said to have occurred at the Akungba-Akoko, Akoko Southwest Local Government Area of Ondo state.


A resident of Akungba, Oshk Fela Castro, who spoke to Sahara Reporters said the cows died after eating something suspected to be poisonous.

“My advice to our people in Akungba is to stop buying beef for now because I know some dubious meat sellers will go and buy the dead cows at a cheap price and butcher the meat for innocent people to buy for consumption.

“I will appeal to people who are living within AUD at Edua in Akungba to monitor how the 50 cows will be disposed off.

“The information I got was that the cows died after eating something suspected to be poisonous.”

Oshk Fela Castro also said that anybody that mistakenly eats of such meat could die of poison, because the cows started decaying within 30 minutes that the owner discovered that they had been poisoned

“Please, tell your neighbours and friends to be careful of buying (beef) meat now.
I want security agents to quickly move to the area to stop any possible buying and selling of those dead cows.”

In September, 2019 it was reported that no fewer than 36 cows were reportedly killed by lightning and thunder on the top of a sacred hill at Ijare town in Ifedore Local Council of Ondo State.

The incident happened on the hill located on the outskirts of the agrarian community known as “Oke Owa,” a place forbidden to trespassers.

Community leaders said that the death of the cows was as a result of the wrath of God upon the Fulani herders, for trespassing a sacred land.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), in Edo State, says it has suspended the National Chairman of the party, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, over his role in the crisis rocking the state chapter of the party.
News of the suspension was contained in a statement signed by state chairman of the party, Anselm Ojezua and Assistant State Secretary, Ikuenobe Anthony.
The statement added that the decision followed the vote of no confidence passed on Oshiomhole by the Chairmen of the APC in the 18 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Edo State.
They said the decision was necessary to prevent a repeat of what happened in Zamfara State, where the party was unable to field any candidate in elections.
It reads in part: “Consequent on the development, the State Executive Committee has adopted the vote of no confidence passed on him and the subsisting suspension order from the organs of the party in the state.
“Comrade Adams Oshiomhole is the one behind the crisis in Edo APC. We have passed a vote of no confidence on him and he stands suspended from the party.
“We don’t want what happened in Zamfara State or other parts of the country to happen in Edo State
