Like someone said earlier in this thread. . .Pidgin English occurs. . .anywhere there was a native language and then the country was later colonized by a European nation. . .It is a way for the natives then to communicate with the settlers. . .but also being able to hold on to their own language. . .I too read that Hawaii was the first but I dont think its about first really. . .it could just be that they were the first to coin the term "pidgin". . .

I found varies countries that speak pidgin. . .when I was looking it up because I was trying to learn Naija pidgin english. . .

I most time think that the case of black men that marry white women could be well likened to that of the prodigal son.
As the white woman is deemed to be very expensive. But at a second look at it I have come to notice that a white woman could express her feelings quite frankly and openly, which is what could make a disciplined man full of respect for her, and knwoing what her issues are then looks for ways to address them, unlike the black woman that tries to keep everything inside sometimes in the name of pleasing the man. Honestly av come across stunning black women, and beautiful white women, but the memory of the black ones I met lasts longer. Even though am sure id marrry any woman from any race as long as she has got (like we say in naija good moderate back and front.) that matters, and very intelligent and humble that would make a good wife anyday. Lets not mention the last one. Guys u know now.

Some of the black men who will rather date white women than black women also do it because the white women make them feel better about themselves somehow. They somehow believe that the white woman appreciates them and what they bring more than the average black woman will. I do not understand it because most of these men go for white women on the low end of the beauty scale if you know what I mean.
