I think it has to do with those around him too. If he finds it hard to learn and associate with others, then make everyone his friends. A doctor once told me to admit my sister's child in a noisy school which I did and has helped the boy a lot. Create opportunity for him to make more friends. Thanks Sir! As per being hereditary, I don't know where he must have inherited that trait from. Cos all my Sisters graduated from reputable schools with enviable grades. Our parents, as far as I know ain't dullard. I really cannot say where & how he inherited that trait. Although, I'm not a science student and so I may not know much about 'Autism, down syndrome & the likes' but a little research on google shocked me about those stuffs. Like you suggested, I'll tell Mum to see a specialist. Thanks for your time Sir!

Hello Doctors & Psychologists in the house, my own brother's case is a bit strange. He learns very slowly, and as a result has repeated primary 5 twice...


The class teacher kinda suggested that he may be showing some signs of autism because he's a bit retarded. Moreso, whenever I try to teach him, the only thing I observe is that he gets scared too often. Don't know what to do. Someone suggested that we allow a psychologist handle him. Suggestion please!
