Doc, well done. I need clarification on this believe that one who has had an episode or sever case of psychosis is never fully cured. That even when certified Ok at that moment by a doctor, that he or she at some point of their lifetime, might still exhibit some sign of psychosis. Just like HIV and Diabetic patients who spends their lifetime taking drugs, does it also apply to people who have had psychotic episodes.

Is she hypertensive or have other medical Conditions?
From what you have said, she has tremors, palpitations and poor sleep.
For someone her age, it could be neurological, cardiac or psychiatric or even a comorbidity of more than 1 condition.
She needs to first see a professional to rule out other causes of these symptoms.

I only know little about mental problems and if there is any cure for them. At least it would save our streets fro mentally degraded individuals. The only thing I know was what I read online about keeping the brain sharp and alert.

Hello Doctors & Psychologists in the house, my own brother's case is a bit strange. He learns very slowly, and as a result has repeated primary 5 twice...


The class teacher kinda suggested that he may be showing some signs of autism because he's a bit retarded. Moreso, whenever I try to teach him, the only thing I observe is that he gets scared too often. Don't know what to do. Someone suggested that we allow a psychologist handle him. Suggestion please!

Autism is a condition which affects speech, communication n relationship

you need him to see a specialist early.

I think it has to do with those around him too. If he finds it hard to learn and associate with others, then make everyone his friends. A doctor once told me to admit my sister's child in a noisy school which I did and has helped the boy a lot. Create opportunity for him to make more friends.
