I pray the week usher us into a beginning of a new dawn in our career pursuits and aspirations especially as it relates to this current recruitment that is ongoing.

Having gone through the NNPC past questions shared by PSVITA, I came to realize that the most recently conducted assessment and recruitment's past questions by NNPC last year is missing out in the files being shared.

I got to know this because I was a participant in that recruitment exercise and was privileged to get to the interview stage. Since after the conclusion of the recruitment early this year, I have not seen any of the questions in that recruitment surfaced in any of the social media platforms. If anyone is privileged to have access to them, you can kindly share.

I wish every one including myself success as we get ready for the big show.

Cheers!!!

The purpose of this thread is not defeated. What we have shared here may be enough for the upcoming generation. It was just when I joined them at the whatsapp group that I got to discovered that many of the things shared and even the discussion held there cannot be done here on Nairaland

BrizzyA:
Little by little the purpose of this thread is defeated by the creation of these groups on chat platforms.

Indeed man is selfish.

What would the ones after us refer to if all the information about this process is on a WhatsApp group of which the members would most likely disband once this is over. Lost.

The way we do things can be funny atimes.

You needed an information, you remembered this forum because you know you could get that info here because it sticks. Then, instead of leaving your footsteps behind to guide others, you turnaround and sweep as you walk away.

Brilliant.

Thank you so much.

May God help us

Newcastle2023:

It's normal quantitative reasoning and its likes.

15 physical location centres across the country.

All eligible applicants would be invited for the aptitude test.

About 90,000 total eligible applicants across the country and not the earlier mentioned 40,000 plus.

More applicants opted for the virtual testing mode.

It's CBT for both the virtual and physical location testing modes.

It's strictly merit based.

Expect your invites for the aptitude test by next week. It's confirmed.

A few things like the total number of slots available for both GT and EH are still kept close to their chest.

You can trust me to share any beneficial information as soon as I'm privy to it.

All the best to everyone here!

NSE entry level salary is lower than my current salary. Their emolument isn't juicy compared to other organisations in that sector. Even SEC that regulates them pays far better

Thank you.

I know of someone who got in at NSE. She was part of the training but don't know of the current status of the training. The salary must be really small then.
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: OilandGasJobs Recruitment 2020 by Amex2018: 2:55pm On Sep 07, 2020
Very good insight and submission.

By the way, do you mind sharing with us why you rejected the offer from NSE? We are all learning. Thanks

leks4sure:

DBN recruitment was free and fair till the end. I wasn't part of the recruitment but a friend of mine got it alongside others without knowing anyone in the organisation before or during the recruitment. Some of the guys that got it have the qualifications and were already working in the industry such as SEC, Zenith bank, FBN Quest and the likes, not as if they called them from their father's house. Moreover, DBN is a public limited company and not govt owned even though FG has a stake in it. Quota system or recommendation from politicians doesn't work there. Even though they only picked very few of you guys that were called for assessment centre. It was totally merit base. Their recruitment was just like NSE I did last year which I eventually rejected the offer. You all should stop painting a recruitment bad if you didn't get it. There are many opportunities out there, if a company rejects you, just work hard to get a better one.

I could see some peeps putting all their hope on this NCDMB recruitment. Percentage of applicants that would get this job wouldn't be more than 1% So why worry yourselves on a job you haven't even been shortlisted not to talk of passing the test and interview. If you don't have any job now, why not take your time to improve yourselves professionally pending when the right opportunities come your way? It's better to prepare yourself than getting caught unaware.

As for the doubting Thomas, pls kindly take your bad energy away from here. We don't need pessimist on this thread. If at this stage, you're still oblivious of recent activities in NCDMB which would require more hands for optimum efficiency, then you're not meant for them. Probably, you should pitch your tent with BBN and other social activities.

If you all could go through the Job ads carefully, you should perceive NCDMB is expanding their operations. this recruitment is majorly for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) GT and EH that would be monitoring Upstream offshore activities and managing other joint ventures with private organisations such as Modular refineries, NOGAPS, Gas hubs and the likes. For those that applied to NNPC, you should have noticed similarities in the ads which is a clue for what you're needed for. While the other openings for administrative roles are limited. This recruitment is different from how they've been recruiting since 2015. Most of the reconmended GT they recruited sometimes back were for their core local content monitoring and capabilities roles. The agency knows what is at stake coupled with their new technical projects worth huge amounts of money from the Nigerian Content Funds.
Even though we can't rule out slots been shared, I can categorically tell you this recruitment drive will be mostly meritious.

Let's keep the hope alive while we keep ourselves busy with our day to day activities.

You can only state that the last part of his statement is not correct if you can proof him wrong by stating that someone you know or perhaps yourself has a direct link to a member of the board.

Every statement he made is still correct to me

Newcastle2023:

Your statement was majorly correct except the last sentence (....as no one here has a direct link to the board....).

If you don't have a direct link with the board, don't assume every other person here doesn't also. Let's be patient and continue to prepare while waiting. We will sure hear from them very soon. All the best!

They looked very unserious thus making the whole recruitment process a joke or sort of scam. If they were not ready, nobody hurried them up to start the process of recruitment

You're right.

If not, how will you explain or believe an offer of job in an organization like NLNG for 150k? It is only greediness that will make people believe such lies

This is always common with fraud and the likes. Beware guys!

Am just stunned at how people can easily get deceived...

Some people are rushing and sending PM to someone that is just about to scam them.

Information sharing is important but let's share only information that are verified. And let it be known that nobody is begging anybody to share information here.

This is even the more reason why many people gets hypertensive, expectant, desperate and later fall for cheap scam.

Whether you share or not, what will happen will happen.

The recruitment is looking so unreal with some tone of a possible scam.

However, the company abbreviated as WGVL stands for Webster Group Ventures Limited. And there are real.

Just not sure if it's the company carrying out the recruitment. I tried shooting them a mail but the mail didn't deliver.

If you have filled the Google form 1-3, then you should be added to a WhatsApp group by name though nothing is happening yet there

Has anyone applied for the ongoing recruitment at Webster group of company?

If you have, kindly share your experience if you have gotten a feedback on interview or any other task asked of you.

Romance / Re: No Sex Before Marriage Is A Scam by Amex2018: 3:58pm On May 31, 2020
You have no single understanding of the Bible neither do you know God.

The many places that the Bible mentioned fornication and adultery as sin cannot be found in your Bible. I see.

The example you gave about Mary does not add up. Because if there were 20 or 100 virgins, only one can be chosen to be the mother of Jesus.

And there are no facts either in the Bible or any other material to refer to that the generation of Mary were having sex before marriage.

Try and read the story of Amnon and Absalom's sister Tamar. You will then understand how virginity and purity were seen. Very difficult for any man to marry any lady that is disvirgin. Not now that it has become a norm.

At OP, for you to be spilling out such nonsense, shows only how far the devil has blind-folded you.

I pray you see the light and come here to apologize because any soul who on your advise go astray, you will be held accountable.

This is a lie and devilish!
That you are having a failed marital experience does not mean marriage is evil. Many others are enjoying their marriage to the glory of God

Just avoid it, however if you recently got married and realise you have made the worst mistake, Please Run away..... Just evacuate yourself from it.
