Mosettg: Good evening, please I will need your help in that nanny aspect for my mum. I'm in one of the federal university in Nigeria studying law while my younger brother is also studying building in a federal polytechnic. I have gone through hustle and bustle due to lack of financial problem, same goes to my younger bro. I have other two younger once still in secondary school. My mum once engaged in selling of lace cloth which she could not maintained due to sickness in 2009. She is very accommodating and less I forgot, she struggled to go to College of Education (NCE) I'm very convince is very good at these job. Please, these will go a long way in making us focus more on our academic and moreover it will go a long way in alleviating and mitigating the level of poverty they are experiencing at home presently, believe me it too much. Wondering I never said anything about dad? yea, he is a farmer with no formal education and has done everything humanly possible to live up to his responsibility but what can you get on a half a plot land use for farming, located somewhere in a village to carter for eighth people, with two in the university... Pls, if the job is still available and you feel the touch to help, this is my number 07063624320 Ok. Is your mum Lagos based? |

Hunger don wire the bros wella. I pray he receives sense soon Lol.. You wicked This is a guy you don't know in real life and you have finished him on NL so , he'll come after you soon...lol But if truly the OP is claiming to be a gas engineer/teacher when he's not....mmmh, then I agree with you in that prayer and I recommend he takes his seat at the foot of the common sense senator of the Federal Republic of Twitter |

Mmmh... OP, this issue is quite delicate and emotional as well, I don't like getting emotional in public ...lol, however this requires our collective effort to bring assistance your way. You need a shop for your mum or what? I wish you were more specific about your request though cos I don't seem to understand what you need exactly. If it's a shop? Have you gone out to inquire about cost of rent for shops in your area? What will your mum be selling? Does she have enough start up because it won't make sense to put her in an empty shop. Then, if she's going to be out of business and maybe want to be a nanny, that's another lovely idea, I'd say. I can connect her to someone in need of a nanny as long as your mum doesn't have a toddler and can take care of other people's children until their parents return from work. Now this suggestion is very good, believe me because she will earn nothing less than 40k monthly doing that and she can provide for you guys as well as save a little. If she's favoured she may be getting things from the family as bonus for a job well done. Just look into my suggestions and let me know what you think, you should also discuss with your mum first before deciding. Relax, things will be fine! |

Hope you're good... Dave my paddy, I'm good o, the success story is loading 65% ...lol. I just don't understand why recruitment in this country is not backed by a high sense of urgency, if they have not made a simple process last as long as two weeks they won't conclude it *frowns. Two weeks of course is the shortest I've seen so far... My diary update - the help part happened last month sha, I've removed the coy from my 'hopeful' list...lol How are you really? Have you indicated interest in that stuff? |

I am in this thread as a student learning but honestly 1 year wait is just too much... they can't keep on wasting your time and life na, this is just what I don't like. I can imagine how long it took you guys from aptitude test to employment letter stage! I think you should speak with a lawyer seriously and you can also adopt one guy's approach here, can't remember his moniker though but he mentioned sth of this nature and how he got paid for the one month he wasn't allowed to do what he had been employed to do...lol If you have an offer letter you can do same. But before then, ask those guys inside to help do an enquiry on your behalf so that you don't do sth stupid while they are planning sth good for you. |

Leovido: Being responsible has to do with being trusted, reliable and trustworthy!
And being helpful at your own risk isn't worth the effort in the first place I've always wanted to come back and reply but I have been a little too busy, here now. What say ye about helping people? All the other commenters have been talking about helping others at their own expense but that's not what you said initially. If you are genuinely helping, then do so, there is nothing like at your own risk! Some people are just selfish in nature and would never go out of their way to do anything for another person if there is no direct benefit for them. That is wrong! Humans are wired to be dependent beings and that's where responsible comes to play, if others (our parents, relatives and friends) have not at one point or the other beebn uncomfortable for us to be comfortable then check the people around you well, they may just a bunch of irresponsible folks but if they have then you should emulate them. A little discomfort every once in a while is allowed, doesn't stop you from attaining success. |

Morning everyone, pardon my intrusion... it's my first time here. I'll like to have a chat with wetinhappen ... hope I'm allowed to do so here? * smiles and thanks everyone*
wetinhappen, over to you, good morning. Just read your long epistle in your diary and I think it should have been an open thread, so we can all contribute on that matter, although in a shorter version.
I agree with you on some things but disagree on some others... don't think the church is confused, the church isn't. I'll stop here and wait for you to respond then we will take it from there. |
