benardtotti:Okay, but has any incumbent ever surpassed their previous electoral margins? If yes, when and by who? In your view, is Tinubu more popular now than in 2023 amongst the electorates? I'm not talking about defecting politicians. Time is a gentleman. |
We have always maintained that Tinubu’s defeat come 2027 will begin from the Southwest. Don't let the Agbadorians here gaslight you. The data does not lie. |
The bigger question is how many politicians can APC eventually handover return tickets to? Now that new defectors are the new darlings just like Reno Omokri, what happens to long-term loyalists in all states and NL pen-for-hires like NgeneUkwenu? |
The Lagos boys are making Buhari look like Albert Einstein. It's not by being garrulous and arrogant while claiming to know it all. |
damiloladuke:Okay, Einstein. Yusuf Tuggar, Nigeria's minister of foreign affairs, apologised to Captain Traore on his own personal behalf live on BBC. Did he also send himself to Ouagadougou? Won't you all stop digging and take this L? |
Chucks13:Would it make significant difference if it is Porto Novo and not Cotonou? If another nation flies an aircraft to bomb Nigeria, would it matter if it were Lagos or Abuja? Bottomline is that Tinubu bombed Benin Republic, wanted to do same to Niger but capitulated to diplomacy because Captain Traore handed over his backside to him on a plate. |
ManirBK:Kindly list out the items that have seen a drop in price aside from rice which isn't borne out of any grand policy but from importation, which is counterproductive in the long run. Is it airfares, rent, fast moving consumer goods, building materials or what? Dangote is using prices to force out the oil cabals who are bent on importing cheap fuel into Nigeria from Malta because he has the funds and can wait them out. On the other hand, Tinubu is banning the importation of used cars to protect the auto-industry. Make it make sense! You allow importation for items where we have competitive advantage while doing otherwise for items where we are lacking.
|
WizardOfNG:Lol. Emergency Lover of Nigeria. This just shows you how unpopular your tin-god is. Unavoidable landing indeed. You violated a country's airspace same day after bombing Cotonou and they used Russian tech to jam your aircraft, forcing a landing. You now attempt to play the diplomacy card. |
ILoveNG:Where was this diplomacy when Tinubu flew warplanes to bomb Cotonou and attempted to invade Niger? (He would have had his backside handed to him anyway). Bullies only bow to bigger bullies and a show of force. This is the same way Agbadorians will be humbled come 2027. Time is a gentleman. |
ManirBK:Is it? Due to desperation, Tinubu has succeeded in making 2027 a two-horse race. It will prove to be his archilles heel. He only won in 2023 because the votes were split three ways. Thinking he will force the electorates to vote for him after having outmuscled their preferred candidates from the race is a miscalculation. Time is a gentleman. |
Defecting with the people's mandate who saw the APC candidate on the ballot before voting for them is neither here nor there. The Nigerian people will still interrogate their performance before choosing to vote for them. Their votes are also not transferable to Tinubu. If it were, Umahi and Uzodinma would have delivered their states while Okowa would have delivered himself as an incumbent governor and a vice presidential candidate on the ballot. The defections would also not have happened had the ruling party not engineered crisis in all other opposition parties. It's not borne out of love, it's coerced. Hence the famous jibe, "who will sign your form?" |
Agbadorians have been peddling this news since but one thing that has been conspicuous is that none of them have provided a link or a credible source where he said that. They can keep chasing the wind. Even the one on this thread is a crop photo with no source. It's the new anti-fulani rethoric that they have been given to spread about the North leading into 2027. We will be here to count scores. |
If she has to say it then he isn't. These people seem to be suffering from a huge sense of low self-esteem and inadequacy that is covered up with braggadoccio. It's an advance form of imposter syndrome. |
richiemcgold:Out of shame for his treachery and betrayal, he couldn't mention Elrufai but was mentioning Uba Sani. What was Uba Sani's contribution to his electoral victory? Uba was just an Elrufai boy following him around in order to get the gubernatorial ticket. Elrufai mobilised Northern governors and took the FG to the supreme court. So dark the con of man! |
You are not a monarch to be issuing threats. The supreme Court already ruled on this. You do not need the governors consent to abide by the law. Instead, he used it as a bargaining chip to get virtually all of them to decamp to the APC. Now he's pretending to talk tough just to press the mumu buttons of gullible Agbadorians. |
ZUBY77:Conquering the South indeed. Where are the Southern electorates singing his praises? If Governors were that significant, Umahi and Uzodinma would have delivered their states to Tinubu and Okowa would have delivered himself in Delta as a Vice presidential candidate. Wake up and smell the coffee. Tinubu is more unpopular today than he was in 2023 where he had benefit of doubt. Don't let the defections of governors fool you, Atiku won many Northern states with APC governors in 2023. The margins will be higher in 2027. |
CandidSeeker:They know this that is why they commissioned Omole to co-opt a woman-scorned (Aisha) to attempt to rewrite history of a man after his demise. In their paranoid mind, they think Osinbajo is still nursing ambitions to contest and they wanted to rekindle that "betrayal" tag against him leading into 2027. It's dead on arrival. Osinbajo will make a better president than Tinubu and Tinubu knows it. |
Absolute lack of self-awareness. It's becoming clearer that Wike purposefully selected Fubara because of his intellectual deficiencies, thinking he would be more malleable. Unfortunately, it came back to haunt him. |
ebukal67x:Why then did he brag about meeting revenue target? It took pressure from the National Assembly before Wale Edun threw Tinubu under the bus by revealing the truth, even though analysts have always questioned the false confidence they have been projecting. They initially wanted to gloss things over as usual. Still no information on our expenditures. Monies were allocated to coastal road outside of the budget without appropriation. Too much dishonesty. You all cannot now sell "at least he admitted" as a positive. |
What was it used for? The governor is still carrying out projects on pages of newspapers while the reality on ground says otherwise. In just 3 years, Kaduna is now looking dirty and unkempt while failing to maintain all streetlights and traffic lights handed over by his predecessor. |
Every year the same cliché. Master tragedist is still selling painful reforms in his third year in office while running 3 budgets concurrently. He has the largest and most incompetent cabinet in the history of this country and just capped it up this week with an uninspiring ambassadorial list. Yet, he wants Nigerians to keep bearing the brunt. Reforms that saw over 70% of this year's budget being carried over to next year. |
The beginning of dictatorship. Police protection will now be apportioned as it pleases the president and he will use it as a tool to make politicians even more subservient. There should be no favoritism or sacred cows including for the president and his family. Otherwise, we go back to how it was. |
Tinubu is making Buhari look like Albert Einstein. They came with do much garrulousness and braggadocio but quickly found out. Now, they are humbled. |
Lanruze:Don't mind Abati. The defections by Governors in 2015 came with so much momentum and enthusiasm by the people. Where are the Nigerians celebrating today's defections? I don't see them. Apportioning states as having being won because their governors are now in the APC is disingenuous unless if the intention is to embark on blatant rigging, which will still not be enough. Time is a gentleman. |
chipet67:Tinubu ran on Fashola and Ambode's achievements while claiming he built Lagos. Put these facts before Agbadorians and they will tell you he discovered them. (Same man who fought Fashola in his second tenure and denied Ambode a second tenure). We know how he left Lagos, filthy, disorganised, with a high rate of crime, molue buses and Areaboys all over the place. Fashola brought sanity to Lagos. |
Still no transparency on how the expenditure for 2025 budget was spent but so much emphasis on taxation. They had earlier sold subsidy removal as the silver bullet, now it's tax. Without accountability, we will only be running round in circles. |
Houseofglam7:Here they go again. How famous is Bobrisky's father and how much power does he have? |
ebukal67x:It is his wish but we will never find out because it will never happen. Take this to the bank. |
Very wrong headline. No where in the article did he say only God can end APC. Rather, he said just like Abacha, Tinubu will fail in his quest to be the sole candidate. It's now clear that all the so-called resistance to Abacha by Tinubu was borne out of jealousy. He secretly admired him and is replicating all the Vices of Abacha and Obasanjo combined. |
NgeneUkwenu:Is that the lamba you are selling thinking you will get Christian votes? Already planning to ditch Ribadu in 2031? Quick question...will Tinubu still run on muslim-muslim ticket in 2027? He can't risk not running on it, can he? Lol. Time is a gentleman. |
seunmsg:Lol. All he needs to do is to sing the mandate song and Tinubu will hand him an appointment like he did with Okowa. Are you no longer in the business of "attracting" politicians? |
