Exactly. Tinubu will get to find that the book has cost him more political capital than he hoped to get. The motive is not lost on Northerners and true Buharists. It has backfired tremendously. The other day, it was Remi asking Patience Jonathan to smile for the camera in Osun state while she sat there looking forlorn like she was forced to be there. Don't forget, it was Patience who declared support for Tinubu when Jonathan was clearly still nursing a comeback.

The North has been pampered for too long. Its time to shift the focus to other regions.

So what other regions is Tinubu shifting focus towards besides his pet projects in Lagos? Even the Southwest is marginalised. He has cornered all appointments for his Lagos boys and awarded contracts to the likes of Chagoury where he has vested interests. What has other regions benefitted? Nevermind the North that gave him 5.6m votes out of his 8m total at a time when the South outrightly rejected him and voted Obi.

Is your attachment more superior than what Tinubu said himself? They were several meetings after that in both Lagos and Kaduna when talks of the merger began to gain traction and Elrufai became the first national secretary of the APC. Were Tinubu and Buhari friends before Tinubu travelled to Daura to encourage Buhari out of retirement to come send his Southern brother, Jonathan out of power? Tinubu simply capitalised upon his popularity in the North and used that as a foothold to ascend to power. With 8 uninterrupted years of working closely together, I daresay that Buhari grew to know Osinbajo more than he knows Tinubu so he couldn't have said this.

Kind indeed. Look beyond the facade, there are several subtle attempts embedded in the book to falsely portray Buhari in bad light, create resentments (such as this) and impugne upon his legacy. All true Buharists boycotted its launch. Lai Muhammad will be launching a book on Buhari today. That one will be kinder to Buhari, not this one written by a known critic of the man.

This is quite understandable given the scale of the reforms being implemented. The focus is on fiscal discipline and sustainable growth, not just on meeting targets for the sake of it.

Lol. Are reforms are end to itself? What good are reforms if it doesn't lead to any measurable impact on the lives of the citizenry? We are now running 3 budgets concurrently with no funding for the 2025 budget yet and we are in December. Tinubu inherited a January to December budget cycle from Buhari but he hasn't even transmitted next year's budget to the National Assembly yet. He has already outborrowed Buhari with nothing to show and is set to borrow even more come next year. Buhari delivered infrastructure with his borrowed loans and still managed to pay several subsidies. Prices of commodities and goods are still sky-high but they are apparently pegging inflation rate on the current price of imported rice while our agricultural sector continues to get stiffled.

Propaganda is always short-lived. They will soon open up on the real inflation figures. It's just a matter of time. Goes to show that you can be a political godfather, sacker of governors, imprisoner of opposition, "tamer of oceans", but the numbers would always expose you.

Vote buying has commenced. Impoverish the people and then give them stipends. Tell your husband to improve the economy. That will be more far-reaching.

Okowa is under investigation and being tried for embezzling 1.3 trillion naira by the same man who has appointed him a "renewed hope ambassador" for the Southsouth region. It may be an Agbadorian thing but the rest of Nigerians are not that slow. Both Okowa and Tambuwal are under investigation. One decamped to the APC and got appointed an ambassador while the other refused to decamp and is ready to meet you in court.

Good. Seyi and any other political appointee can have whatever traditional title they desire. Don't just try to confer undeserving military promotions on serving personnels like we are in a monarchy. Every military rank is earned through sweat, tears and blood. Not through nepotism.

So what's the update on Tambuwal? They did that thinking he will cower like Okowa and Yahaya Bello and decamp or pledge loyalty but only the guilty are afraid. Tambuwal called their bluff and asked them to persecute him. How much did Sokoto receive in his entire 8 year tenure for him to withdraw 400 billion naira in a single day as alleged? APC should stop trying Malami on the pages of newspapers and try him in court. He's a Senior Advocate and he's ready to meet Tinubu in court, not on newspapers.

Buhari had changed indeed. We knew where her angst was coming from. Buhari abolished the office of the first lady and confined her to the "other room". They called for the investigation and prosecution of Malami. The APC administration responded to the call by opening an investigation into the alleged corrupt activities of Malami. Now, the same ADC is lying that the tweet in question is false and refuting all the allegations they once made simply because Malami is now in ADC.

If Malami leaves ADC today, they will come back to start calling him corrupt. That’s the fraudulent and duplicitous attitude of the ADC that Nigerians are calling into question. That’s definitely not a party that will rescue Nigeria.

Oh, you want Nigerians to give up and have openly admitted that APC are fraudulent and duplicitous but only frown at the opposition for purportedly being just like you? No one says Malami is a Saint but you can't forgive Okowa for embezzling 1.3 trillion and appointing him as "renewed hope ambassador" because he decamped while claiming you are prosecuting Malami who is in the opposition, for corruption. It's abuse of power.
