PoliticsRe: Stop Deceiving Us On State Police – Gov Makinde Tells FG by AMINDA: 8:17am On May 29

No one has said state police is the silver bullet. i have said Makinde should stop playing politics and do something about securing his state. i have said Tinubu supported Amotekun and gave them the advice they needed to be legal as at today. Ask AI to cure your remaining problems. i can't waste my time doing that if you cannot do basic work.
Have you also said that Tinubu should do his job and secure the country? Why push Tinubu's responsibilities to Seyi Makinde? Does Seyi Makinde control the security apparatus? Or you expect him to secure his state against AK 47 wielding terrorists using amotekun and forest guards with dane guns? Yesterday it was Kwara, today it's Oyo. Continue to blame the governors.

Mrexcell:
The zoning arrangement between the north and south will never make tinibu ever think of such that's definitely going to cause a major political crises in nigeria. Nigeria is not cameroon, rwanda or uganda where such is comfortably practiced.
Lol. Will it be a more major political crisis than the current state of insecurity in the country? There is no zoning arrangement between the North and the South. Zoning is purely a matter within political parties, notably the PDP. Ojukwu contested the 2007 presidential elections after 8 years of Obasanjo and Northerners did not ask him to step down. Buhari contested 4 consecutive presidential elections before winning and no one cried about zoning. Don't buy into the propaganda of zoning. Only Northern APC members will cry about zoning in 2031 if Tinubu wins and fails to concede power to the North. The signs are already there. Northerners always speak with their votes, not noise.

Are you okay at all? Why do you prefer beating around the bush and changing goal posts to clear logic? State police is different from Amotekun. Lagos has different types of Amotekun already, Oyo doesn't. Makinde can't pay Amotekun or support autonomy, but you're cool since he's opposition. It's Lagos state that's having great security architecture that's your problem. RRS, oyabo or something in ikorodu, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, number one surveillance systems in Nigeria, and inter-agency command centres.
i have attached direct answer to this post, but i trust you to justify your paid agent job.
Mumbo jumbo. Is Tinubu not the Commander-in-Chief again or does he think that only involves hounding and incarcerating opposition figures? Since state police or even Amotekun is now the silver bullet to all insecurity challenges, why hasn't Tinubu passed it into law or is he waiting until after the elections? That's the same question Seyi Makinde is asking.

"When it comes to issues of security, the bulk stops at the president's desk" - Bola Tinubu to Goodluck Jonathan

You missed the whole point, you probably didn't read. Lagos never needed Amotekun as they already had neighborhood watch. Tinubu was the one that advised the other states on how to get Amotekun and get the nod of the then FG.

If Seyi Makinde had any sense of seriousness and responsibility for his state, he wouldn't be playing politics. Wike never needed Amotekun or any regional group to clear out nonsense. He wasn't doing begibegi or playing helpless that he didn't get help from Buhari.

Okay, noted Einstein. If I understand you clearly, Lagos wouldn't need state police too right? We can't afford to handover so much power to a sitting governor if we want to continue to maintain control over them, or can we? Seyi Makinde was right!

Read through.
Okay, Einstein. So does Lagos state have Amotekun right now or not? If not, why not? Was it because someone was scared of provoking the fulanis because of votes or because someone was scared of losing their political grip on Lagos that is currently being reinforced through the use of thuggery? Which one? Seyi Makinde is not a coward.

PoliticsRe: Akpabio Scores Tinubu High On Economic Reforms, Security by AMINDA: 5:27am On May 29
With sycophants like this around the president posing as friends, he doesn't even need enemies. Tinubu's whole governance style encourages sycophancy, eye-service and praise-singing. That's why he has a special cap with a slave-chain insignia for all his serfs and a special anthem for all sycophants titled "on your mandate". We can't continue like this.
PoliticsRe: Stop Deceiving Us On State Police – Gov Makinde Tells FG by AMINDA: 5:22am On May 29
Image123:
Makinde is an hypocrite here. It's still Tinubu that made the suggestion that he's bragging about.
What suggestion? That was the late Akeredolu's intervention. How could he have made the suggestion when Lagos state remains the only Southwestern state without Amotekun? He's probably waiting until after the elections before granting state police, if at all. He clearly doesn't trust the governors with such enormous powers for now or may even be nursing life presidency. Someone who has invested so much resources in comsolidating power and capturing all institutions of state will not be thinking about relinquishing any aspect of power.

PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Omo-agege Dumps APC For NDC, Declares Delta Central Senate Ambition by AMINDA: 7:51pm On May 28
Tenses:
GEJ is not daft enough to fall for that obvious setup.
Why is it a setup? Jonathan would not have invested time and energy pursuing his eligibility in the courts if he has no interest in contesting. Don't forget, he was the first to visit David Mark to ask for a conscensus ticket when the ADC coalition was newly formed. Or is GEJ not Southern enough? Is Obi more competent than he is? If yes, where is the evidence? Obi was his appointee so he should step aside and support his boss, not vice versa.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Omo-agege Dumps APC For NDC, Declares Delta Central Senate Ambition by AMINDA: 7:26pm On May 28
SadiqBabaSani:
Atiku people are really banking on Obi to take Tinubu's Southern Votes, so that with some Votes up North, Atiku will emerge Winner but not have the required spread needed to be declared President hence the need for a run off which will be simple majority considering the population of the North, ofcourse Atiku will win a simple majority contest, what Atiku don't realise is that ADC is gonna be crippled by the courts.

2027 election is between Obi and Tinubu, even if Atiku were to get Highest votes he will not be President
I don't think it's only Atiku Obidients should be worried about. They are also asking Jonathan to step aside. Is Jonathan not Southern enough?

PoliticsRe: APC Chieftain Alleges ADC Was Used By Atiku To Undermine Southern Presidency by AMINDA: 7:10pm On May 28
chinjay:
I agree with you sir, i have been telling people that i suspect Atiku is working for Tinubu and i believe Tinubu will give him Apc ticket 2031. As it stands now since Buhari is dead, he is the most popular Norhern politician now.
Tory! Zoning is a solely PDP affair. That was why Ojukwu contested the 2007 elections under APGA after 8 years of Obasanjo. Jonathan also contested the 2015 elections despite the PDP's constitution. Both candidates were fully supported by Peter Obi in both occasions. Only members of the PDP revolted in 2014. Tinubu and Buhari merely took advantage of the revolt to ascend into power. Same thing the Southeast could have done. In any case, Jonathan is back in the race but only one group of people are pressuring him to step down. Further proving that chants of "turn of the South" is insincere.

PoliticsRe: APC Suspends Senator Echocho Over Anti-Party Activities After Primary Defeat by AMINDA: 7:02pm On May 28
Lol. As predicted, APC will implode in a number of states. Delta already happened. Next will be Kogi, Benue, Plateau, etc. Stay tuned.
PoliticsRe: BREAKING: Omo-agege Dumps APC For NDC, Declares Delta Central Senate Ambition by AMINDA: 7:00pm On May 28
Game on! Next to follow will be Ned Nwoko. Just like in 2023, Obi will defeat Tinubu in the South and his 5.6m Northern voters that made him president are all but gone.

Pickup8:
A real pain. IT PAINS YOUU.😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes it did, but the insecurity in the country pains me more. Tinubu is the Commander-in-Chief while Matawalle is the Minister of state for Defence, by the way. The best way to show "loyalty" is to be loyal to the Nigerian people and actually do his job. Not covering his incompetence by massaging the ego of a megalomaniac with low self-esteem who always craves validation.
PoliticsRe: A Visit Of Loyalty: Matawalle’s Salah Homage To Tinubu In Lagos by AMINDA: 11:46am On May 28
PR for a mere sycophantic visit? Nairaland should always specify when sponsored articles are pushed to frontpage.
PoliticsRe: Omo-agege Set To Join NDC by AMINDA: 11:22am On May 28
As long predicted, the implosion of the APC in Delta and several other states was inevitable. Next to follow will be Ned Nwoko. The NDC may turn out to be the most formidable party in the South while the ADC becomes the most formidable party in the North. Where then will Tinubu's votes come from? He still has Omoluabi Seyi Makinde to contend with in his own backyard.
PoliticsRe: Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Resigns From APC by AMINDA: 6:46pm On May 27
seunmsg:
Without the backing of an incumbent governor, Tinubu got over 25% of vote cast in Delta state in 2023.
Thanks to who? I thought Omo-Agege did anti-party? Are we now celebrating 25% in the South. Is 25% still the target in 2027? Why not tell us how many percent Tinubu got in Imo, Ebonyi and Cross Rivers that had incumbent APC governors.
PoliticsRe: Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Resigns From APC by AMINDA: 6:31pm On May 27
seunmsg:
Ned was not in APC in 2023. He won because OKowa supported him. He's still in APC despite Okowa collecting the ticket from him. The APC structure of 2023 remains intact and fully integrated with the Okowa group. Even Ibori is solidly behind Delta APC. The only minus from the two groups is Omo-Agege. And for someone who lost to Senator Dafinone, it shows how weak he has become. He can go to hell, we have Delta in the bag already.
Where were all these people in 2023, and who did they support when Okowa contested as V.P. candidate and an incumbent governor under PDP? Why couldn't Okowa deliver himself?
PoliticsRe: Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Resigns From APC by AMINDA:
seunmsg:
Add PDP's vote to that of APC in 2023. That should give you an idea. It's not just the Okowa group now, it's the fusion of both structure. As at today, APC is the only existing political party in Delta state. Ned and Omo-Agege are irrelevant noisemakers.
The APC structure today was the PDP structure that failed to deliver an incumbent Okowa as Vice presidential candidate. It can even be argued that APC is even weaker than it was in 2023 with the ouster of Omo-Agege and other silently aggrieved members like Ned Nwoko. 2027 will be worse.
PoliticsRe: Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Resigns From APC by AMINDA: 5:54pm On May 27
seunmsg:
Despite being the incumbent deputy president of the senate and the candidate of APC, what was Omo-Agege's performance at the last election? The Okowa group won all the governorship, all senate and all house of reps seats including majority of the state assembly. So, what's Omo-Agege's strength against an APC structure that now has the Okowa group fully integrated?

In case you don't know, APC deliberately discarded him for working against the party during the last presidential election. That is why nothing was given to him. He can go to hell for all I care. He has no relevance.
Are you having a laugh? The Okowa group that failed to deliver Okowa as Vice presidential candidate under PDP? If Deltans had the presence of mind to vote Okowa's candidates and still reject Okowa despite being an incumbent and Vice presidential candidate, how will Tinubu now win Delta state with Omo-agege and Ned Nwoko aggrieved? What will Tinubu promise Deltans that is worth more than a V.P slot? They can still vote APC in the down ballots and reject Tinubu, just like in Lagos. Bottomline, Tinubu will struggle in the South, even in his own Southwestern backyard.

You accuse all and sundry of working against Tinubu simply because they could not carryout the herculean task of delivering a very unpopular Tinubu. You forgot that Tinubu and his Lagos boys failed to deliver himself in Lagos but Lagos still has the highest number of appointees and projects. Being an ingrate is not a virtue. Time is a gentleman.
PoliticsRe: Senator Ovie Omo-Agege Resigns From APC by AMINDA: 5:36pm On May 27
Lol. Seunmsg, is Southsouth still in the bag? Where will Tinubu's votes come from? Anyways, we will all learn politics together! At least, Omo-Agege was bold enough to dump the APC. Tinubu should be more afraid of those whom are too scared to decamp but will carry out the mother of all anti-party ever known to man.

Akpakomiza2:
The senator representing Bauchi north originally was never from APC sir but PDP. The one swallowing in ignorance isn't me clearly
Admit that you are not updated and move on. What does "originally" mean in this context? Akpabio, Umahi, etc were also "originally" from the PDP. Are we no longer celebrating governors and senators that defected to the APC a few months ago? Bottomline is that APC has no current senator in Bauchi state as at today. We will all learn politics together.

PoliticsRe: Ex-igp Abubakar Adamu Quits APC by AMINDA: 10:01pm On May 25
Akpakomiza2:
Which implosion? Who knows this IGP? APC has only one senator in Bauchi not too. You don't know politics sir, stay out of it
Lol. You are so confident in your ignorance.

Bauchi North: Senator Samaila Kaila Dahuwa
Bauchi South: Senator Shehu Buba Umar

Both have resigned their membership of the APC today. Don't worry. We will all learn the politics together.

Lithiumite:
The end to his political carreer,he cant move to any other party to get ticket its too late,he think say politics nah police work undecided
Which would you prefer? Aggrieved members staying put in a party due to a fraudulent electoral act clause or going elsewhere to exercise their franchise? The implosion of APC is already manifesting and you should be worried. The remaining two APC senators in Bauchi just decamped from the APC. With so many aggrieved party members, where will Tinubu's votes come from? From the 10 million phantom voters in the primaries?
PoliticsRe: Rivers APC: He Shouldn't Have Picked The Form Initially? - Wike Mocks Fubara by AMINDA: 8:01pm On May 25
LagosOrigin:
Fubara is really a weakling

Shame shame shame

This humiliation is too much ..
What do you expect of him when Tinubu who should play neutral as president picked a side? Tinubu practically intervened by imposing a state of emergency in Rivers and suspended Fubara when he was having the upperhand. Meanwhile, in Kaduna, he supported Uba Sani to rebel and go against Elrufai even though Elrufai never sought to be overbearing on Uba Sani. A president must be fair or at least be seen to be fair in order to command genuine respect.
PoliticsRe: I Helped Tinubu Become President But Peter Obi Is Phenomenon – Fayemi by AMINDA: 2:12pm On May 25
Timmi:
Now everyone is coming out of wood claiming that they make Tinubu president, first it was El-Rufai, followed by Amaechi and now Fayemi. Political paperweights that Tinubu helped have become turncoat and an ingrate set of people. Tinubu will win the second term and Fayemi might as well join the Association of Disgruntled and Disenfranchised Coalition (ADC) because that is where he belongs.
We practically have videos of Tinubu begging Elrufai onstage in Kaduna to help him. Do you have any of Tinubu having helped Elrufai in any way or manner in the past? Tinubu supported the PDP candidate in Kaduna against Elrufai in 2019. Same thing he did against Amaechi in Rivers by using Magnus Abe to factionalise the APC. He is the originator of anti-party and his words mean nothing because he doesn't keep them.

PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Ally, In Tears, Resigns To Fate; Says Tinubu Has Won A Second Term by AMINDA: 11:09am On May 25
Tinubu lackeys now stalk random users on X and other platforms scavenging for any and every reaction that can give them some iota of validation. It's a sign of low self-esteem, if you ask me. Peter Obi ally indeed.
PoliticsRe: We Can’t Grant You Access To El-Rufai – ICPC Replies ADC by AMINDA: 3:35pm On May 23
JASONjnr:
First thing first..... Elrufai has to answer to his crimes.... Then this has nothing to do with the president or this government.

Every agencies have their role to play without the president's decision. The DSS, EFCC and other agencies behind his tail investigating Elrufai has northerners working in those agencies but people will rather point fingers to the government of the day.
Carwardice on display. Don't worry, the next government will also get a Yoruba person to handle the current usurper-in-power. We thank him for setting the precedence. Time is a gentleman.

Elrufai who made Tinubu president is under incarceration without bail but Yahaya Bello and Okowa are running for senate under APC. Mobutu did more than this. Where is he today?
PoliticsRe: El-Rufai: NSA, ICPC Chair Confirmed Tapped Conversation – Witness by AMINDA: 5:37pm On May 20
Vision101:
Why are you turning round now. I have been reading your conversation all along. Something that is as clear as day you said that it's not provable in law. When security agencies advise you that you have a right to remain quiet and whatever you say can be used against you. You think that it's joke.

What did the government do wrong here. Even in advanced nations, is it not a crime to illegally tape security conversations. Arrogance brought Elrufai here. He thought that he can do anything and say anything and nothing will happen to him. He doesn't no Tinubu. A made who can take difficult decisions that can cost him his second tenure is the person that you are daring.
Keep clutching at straws. Is his detention in the ICPC for over 90 days now and counting as a result of the wiretapping allegation? What's the correlation between ICPC and wiretapping? Is that part of their mandate? When the DSS made attempts to arrest him at the airport after returning willingly to the country, was it as a result of the wiretapping that he hadn't even granted an interview on?

Tinubu is clearly afraid of the moves that Elrufai can make and this is just one of several ways he has been stiffling opposition parties and opposition voices. Yahaya Bello and Okowa just won the APC primaries to contest for senate. You can continue to praise Tinubu for it but the table will turn in a short while from now. Time is a gentleman.

Be careful when you want to fight government out of anger, make sure you are above reproach. Mallam goofed by mis-yarning, creating the pathway for government to start tossing him left, right and centre.

Who dare to do this in a Buhari's government and go scotch free......
Is there something you know that you want to tell us? Since Mallam truly listened to the NSA's phone conversations, should we also believe the Thallium Sulphate allegations? The next government will definitely probe Buhari’s death further. Mallam may be on to something. The desperation to keep him incarcerated for a bailable offence is becoming suspicious.
