Cybaghost:Kindly list the PDP governors that rigged for him. Don't forget that 5 PDP governors (G5) worked against Atiku, and he won most states governed by APC governors. He lost Delta governed by an incumbent PDP governor, Okowa, who was also a Vice presidential candidate on the ballot. If Okowa couldn't rig Delta for Atiku, what gives Tinubu the assurance that he can do so for him? |
Wawelexy:Dent on his integrity? Since when did vieing for the number one seat become a dishonourable endeavour? If Trump and John Mahama could do it, why can't Jonathan? Is Tinubu's current regime better than Jonathan's? |
seunmsg:Lol. Fear is that you? Tell Tinubu to retire and become a statesman. Afterall, he's older than Jonathan. Jonathan has greater chances of winning than Tinubu. He will get good votes from the Southsouth, christian middlebelt and in the North. |
We hear that Jonathan will be picking up his nomination form to contest under the PDP.
|
You will have to redo your permutations. Jonathan is entering the race to contest under PDP tomorrow. The only reason Tinubu tolerated all Wike's excesses as he went about courting unnecessary enemies for the president was to prevent this outcome.
|
Streetinvestor2:Here we go again. Everyone is incompetent except Obi but Obi has been tried in Anambra and rhe verdict is out there. Do you think anyone but you is buying all these? Obi can become the president but selling him as the best thing since sliced bread is how you push people away. Jonathan entering the race will unravel many of Obi's supporters. The major reason why most of you support Obi is because he's your tribesman and nothing is wrong with that. You will attract more votes boldly owning that than attempting to sell Obi as a Saint. |
LagosOrigin:Lol. Jonathan is a registered member of the PDP. But that's not the answer to the question. Since zoning is now constitutional, why did Ojukwu contest the 2007 elections after 8 years of Obasanjo? Can any Igboman alive claim to be more Igbo or Southern than Ojukwu? |
LagosOrigin:Don't worry. Jonathan will be entering the race on Monday. You will be spoilt for choice on Southern candidates to pick from. By the way, why did Ojukwu contest the 2007 elections under APGA after 8 years of a Southern Obasanjo presidency? Don't dodge this question please. |
LagosOrigin:Fully endorsed by Kwankwaso? You lot will never learn. Pray tell, why did Kwankwaso contest in 2023 after 8 years of Buhari? What changed? He now knows better? Having not been in the corridors of power since 1999, the Southeast should not be settling for one-term as a bargaining chip. It is condescending and it reeks of desperation. |
No one is excluding anyone. Nigeria is an amalgamated entity comprised of 3 regions. To attain power, two regions combine against the other. In 2015, Tinubu aligned with the North to get Jonathan out of power and went from opposition to incumbent president. In 2016, the perfect opportunity presented itself for the Southeast to have a foot in the door, but they bought Tinubu's propaganda and joined him in screaming "turn of the South." Well, news flash! The North already has an existing, albeit strained alliance with Tinubu. They made him president. Worse case scenario, it takes nothing away from the North to let him continue. At the end of the day, when the spoils are being shared, one region will claim victimhood but they passed up on the opportunity to play the politics. Nothing goes for nothing! |
SadiqBabaSani:Are you having buyer's remorse in the NDC? Wasn't that clear to a day old baby from day one? Kwankwaso has led Obi into a ditch. But before he did that, he ensured his godson, Abba Kabir, decamped to APC. Heads or tail, he doesn't lose. I will keep maintaining that the best decision for the Southeast to take in 2027 is to vote Tinubu. This is the only way they can be considered for VP under the APC in 2039. |
NgeneUkwenu:Nairaland is clearly colluding with Tinubu supporters. How did this make frontpage? Even the presidential aspirants only picked up their forms yesterday. I hope troll threads by opposition against Tinubu will equally make frontpage with only few comments. The bias is not so subtle. Fix up! Atiku was barely in the conversation in 2023 but he ended up getting 6.9m votes. We will all learn politics together. |
Nothing to panic about. This is just microphone testing and the handwork of our lida, Nyerishi. He who brings an ant-infested wood to the house should not cry foul when they are visited by lizards. Assuming but not conceding....agreement remains agreement.
|
It is satire. The video has no correlation with the denial of ticket. He was clearly giving a sermon and that's an old video. |
tishbite41:Abi Tinubu wan destroy himself? Does this news have any correlation with Elrufai? The only reason Dadiyata is mentioned in the same sentence with Elrufai is because he was residing in Kaduna. Dadiyata was not even an Elrufai critic so no motive exists, unlike Funsho Williams. If that's all it takes, the same energy should be maintained with every murder or abduction that happens in other states. |
Dreal1247:Hope Uzodinma is currently holding a meeting with APC governors in Imo. Only 12 are in attendance. The implosion of APC has begun. With the National Lida of the PDP now losing out, expect him to put some fire into the APC. That's his trademark. Assuming but not conceding...
|
Have you seen the stretch from Kaduna to Kano done by Julius Berger under Buhari? Buttery smooth. Tinubu revoked the contract and handed it to a generator importing company. The quality and slow pace of the so-called concrete technology now leaves much to be desired. |
Controlled opposition and Tinubu's stooge. Goodluck is coming!
|
In other words, the Ibadan convention was convened by the legitimate leadership of the party but was nullified because they proceeded despite a subsisting court order for them to postpone. Congratulations to the Seyi Makinde camp. Goodluck!
|
Newbie2024:Come make him. That's your president-in-waiting. |
I hope the government can investigate this fully and bring the matter to a logical conclusion. It appears they would much rather prefer to politicise the young man's demise than actually resolve it. |
Bentacur007:Your wish may be granted.
|
Akpakomiza2:Lol. But Sanwo-olu was governor and Tinubu was the godfather of Lagos when Obi defeated them in Lagos. Quit this obsession with governors. 2023 has proven that voters are now sophisticated enough to return their governors if they wish and still vote against Tinubu. Like I said, Tinubu got good margins in the North because the electorates were convinced to return a favour. Why didn't Umahi, Uzodinma and Ben Ayade deliver their states to Tinubu? Why couldn't Ifeanyi Okowa deliver Delta to Atiku as an incumbent governor and Vice presidential candidate? Even with all the financial warchest that Delta has? Continue to put your trust in governors. |
Kanwulia:You didn't vote for him in 2023, yet he got 6.9m votes. In that election, his fellow Northerners still managed to give Tinubu 5.6m votes. Go figure! If you hate Atiku that much, you're better off voting Tinubu than wasting your votes. We also know you're about to hate Kwankwaso soon when he refuses to deputise your messiah. |
seunmsg:Are you Tinubu's ally? Don't confuse a supporter, a fan or an admirer to an ally. Surely, Tinubu’s lackeys have better things to do than stalking tweeter looking for individual opinions to create threads on. No other camp does this. Have some self-esteem. |
Kanwulia:I thought Obi won in 2023? Why didn't Obi nor his Obidients hit the street? |
Kanwulia:I hope if Obi wins and Tinubu refuses to handover, you will call him a man? Why bother to even contest against Tinubu since an incumbent conceding power after losing an election is a sign of weakness? |
Omowale2023:Same way ADC supporters are wondering why Obi initially decamped to ADC. He did not decamp with Obi. It"s a political party and Obi is not the owner of the NDC. Even in the public event of presentation of their membership cards, he tactfully insisted to be given the card and caps first. Obidients continue to market OK online but what Kwakwanso's supporters are promoting in Kano is KO. |
We told Obidients that Kwankwaso will not agree to deputise Obi for the exact reason that Obi refused to deputise Atiku. Kwankwaso will only agree to serve as Vice to Jonathan. For now, he will contest the primaries with Obi and if Obi wins, Kwankwaso will nominate someone like Gawuna to deputise him. Obi have been seen severally wearing the shirts and promoting the OK movement. Have Kwankwaso done the same? |
If Trump and John Mahama can, Jonathan too can. Remontada! |
This is an indictment of the Nigerian Senate under the regime of your husband. |
