Expect a massive exodus from Uba Sani's cabinet in the coming days. The resignee was Uba Sani's campaign director by the way. P.S: Uba Sani cannot deliver his polling unit to Tinubu. This is a fact that is well established. Tinubu is relying upon his likes to deliver northern votes but here's a video of Uba Sani being booed at his own polling unit during the sham of a local government elections months ago. Uba Sani is not on ground.

Omoboricash:I thought Elrufai did nothing for Tinubu? Show me any Southwestern state aside Lagos that Tinubu garnered more than the 399,293 votes that he scored in Kaduna. Sanwo-olu and Tinubu himself couldn't deliver his homestate of Osun and Lagos despite being on the ballot but you lot expected Elrufai to perform magic and deliver Tinubu in Kaduna, a Northern state against a Northern Atiku and Kwankwaso on the ballot. |
DoTheNeedful:False equivalence and typical gaslighting when cornered. No, the Yorubas didn't "foolishly" followed like you're postulating. They were the major players. Tinubu personally went to Daura to convince Buhari out of retirement to come send his fellow "Southern" brother packing. He said this himself at his "Emi Lokan" speech. Tinubu won in 2023 with 5.6m Northern votes even with a Northern Atiku on the ballot but all of a sudden, it's now Northern supremacy to you because the North has rejected him for his failure? Someone who lost the South in 2023 and won via muslim-muslim ticket is now posturing to use Southern turn to win in 2027 yet fellow Southerners are not even allowed to aspire or vote in the SW. You've now even descended into renaming streets but yet you want a Southern alliance? The jokes write themselves. |
Cherrybae:Lol. Uba Sani is a lightweight politician. This was your Uba Sani being booed at his own polling unit during the sham of a local government elections a few months ago.
|
seunmsg:Really? Same Elrufai? You SWesterners have no idea what you've done to your reputation amongst the rest of Nigerians in terms of building trust. The resignee was Uba Sani's campaign director by the way. Some Northern governors will try to whine Tinubu but don't panic. By 2026, the political tsunami would be so strong that a lot of the current APC governors in the North will either decamp or get swept away. P.S: Uba Sani cannot deliver his polling unit to Tinubu. destinychildolu:This is not politics. Yar'adua, Goodluck Jonathan, and Muhammadu Buhari never played politics this way. This is anti-democracy and cowardice. |
Kudos to you, Mr. Nwosu. In case anyone is wondering how all those multiple factions in all parties arise, the 360 degree switch of loyalists of other opposition leaders, the announced suspension of leaders from other parties out of the blue, the "endorsements" from unlikely quarters, etc, wonder no more. APC have looked at the numbers and seen that the only way they can win this election is if they are the only ones on the ballot. They are breaking the Nigerian treasury to buy-off any and everyone with a price. |
Agbadorians keep parroting that Tinubu will win the Southwest in a landslide but the reality is that he will face stiff opposition. I hope Tinubu is not counting on other regions to deliver him like in 2023 when he couldn't even deliver himself? At this point, Lagos, Osun and Oyo (if Makinde picks up PDP's ticket) are not certain. Where then will Tinubu get bloc votes from? Gbatists will soon flood this thread to tell us how irrelevant Oyinlola has become but they wildly celebrated Fayose's endorsement of Tinubu yesterday. |
fergie001:PDP is over. These days, they seem to be more against the ADC and other opposition parties than they are to the government in power. They want to remove ADC, remove them from where? Anyways, they may have looked into the future and seen that ADC is the next occupant in Aso Rock. |
Slytiger:But you celebrated Fayose's endorsement of Tinubu in Ekiti yesterday. We get it, the only influential people to gbatists are the ones that endorse your tin-god. |

Small speech from Kwankwaso and APC are already panicking, organising a two day emergency summit in Kaduna. What are Tinubu's achievements in the North to warrant Northerners voting for him again in 2027? |

No. He would rather use the report to blackmail whoever was indicted and have them do his bidding. Mafia style. Like Okowa, like Yahaya Bello, like Fayose. |
Why are APC kicking? I thought Tinubu wants to win his re-election based off the popularity of the State governors and tie his destiny to theirs?. Isn't that why he's actively courting all governors into his camp. Bitter lessons will be learnt in 2027. LP would have been governing Lagos today if this was done in 2023. |
Tinubu removed subsidy to reduce borrowing but now borrows to reduce the effects of subsidy removal. |
HallahGeisher:We've heard this before but he's currently willing to give an arm and a leg just have Kwankwaso decamp to the APC and even sacrificed Ganduje to see that materialise. He even went to Kano to beg and to bend the knee. Tinubu is a tin-god only in Yorubaland. The North made him President and they will unmake him. |
Here are the list of Northerners that the SW had promised the presidential ticket in 2031. Elrufai. Ribadu. Shettima. Kwankwaso and the latest one, Northern Christians. So again, what's the worth of a promise from a SWesterner? Besides, the tickets are not yours to promise. New alliances are being formed and it will be taken away from you at the polls with or without your permission. |
helinues:Flawed logic. The SS had the opportunity to be Vice President in 2023, why didn't they vote Okowa if being a VP is that important to them? If Okowa couldn't deliver his state let alone his region as an incumbent governor and a Vice Presidential candidate, why should the people of the SS now vote a non-performing Tinubu for another 4 years in anticipation of an uncertain promise of a VP slot? What's the worth of a promise from a Southwesterner? Is it bankable? You know the answer. |
helinues:What's with the SW too and all the unity begging? When did the people of the SS tell you that they're voting Tinubu? Is it Deltans, Akwa Ibomites, Bayelsans or Edo than Tinubu is banking on. He lost all these states woefully in 2023 and nothing will change in 2027 even with rigging. |
Lol. Tinubu should dare go ahead to replace Shettima as planned and then see what Ali Modu Sheriff's position would be. As things stand, Tinubu has been intimidated into sticking with Shettima even against his will. He's currently between a rock and a hard place. Atiku will still sweep the Northeast notwithstanding. |

EmperorIsaac:Yes. This was how he became president in 2023; Entire North = 5.6m Entire South = 3.2m The North made him President. |
youngsahito:Exactly. Plus Tinubu's re-election campaign is now assuming a tribal direction. Videos like Fayose endorsing Tinubu while wearing a PDP cap is only silently uniting Northern politicians around Atiku. Tinubu started and encouraged it and he will be the biggest victim of it. The level of anti-party that will occur in 2027 will be unprecedented even among some current Northern APC governors. They are just biding their time. It's already happening. "Whether in PDP or ADC, Atiku remains our leader" - Hassan Dankwambo https://www.nairaland.com/8485619/whether-pdp-adc-atiku-remains |
ozo13:Yes. Atiku will get the highest number of votes amongst all contestants in all permutations, whether or not Obi deputise him. He MAY only lack the 25% spread without Obi and that will depend on the strength of his chosen VP. This will then throw the election into a run-off, most likely between Atiku and Tinubu. The North will vote one way, but it's unlikely that Tinubu will get the same level of support in the South. The current ethnic tension in Lagos will cost him the SE and the GEJ karma will likely be resurrected in the SS. NC will be evenly split as always. |

What momentum again? Like it or not, the ADC is the only party with the momentum right now. In contrast, the series of decamping by governors to the APC has failed to give it any momentum. |
Why is Tinubu and his goons begging for Kwankwaso to join the APC? It has become a pathetic sight. Fulfill all the conditions he gave to you or forget about it. And yes, sacking Ganduje as APC Chairman is not enough. |
Same Omojuwa that just got exposed by Grok on twitter as an inconsistent ethnic jingoist? He's currently battling with A.I on the app.
|
This one is still here counting removal of subsidy as an achievement. Tinubu removed subsidy to reduce borrowing, but now borrows to reduce the effect of subsidy removal. |
Kaycee9242:Do you know what monopoly means? Has Dangote stopped anyone with a refinery license from building a refinery in Nigeria to compete with him? Why should he be competing with cheap impure fuel from Malta when he just invested 25 billion dollars in building a refinery in Nigeria? What now happens to buy Nigeria to grow Nigeria and the much touted "Nigeria First" policy. |
casualobserver:Lol. Indeed. Show me the equivalent of a 15 trillion naira project in any other state of the federation. Tinubu just got approval to borrow 2.5 billion dollars for the Lagos Green line by the way. This would be repaid through taxation by all Nigerians not just Lagosians. So my question still remains unanswered, if Lagosians solely developed Lagos, why hasn't Lagos been replicated in any other Southwesterner state? After Tinubu lost Lagos to Obi, it took Sanwo-olu's aide leading a "My Lagos, not your Lagos" campaign that disenfranchised voters for Sanwo to win the gubernatorial election. Yet, you want to have us believe it's not about elections. Aren't there Igbos in other Southwestern states and other regions in Nigeria?
