Both Reno and Bwala are refraining from going all out against Atiku because they are keeping their options open. They are professing to be in love with Tinubu but still want to keep Atiku as a side chick just in case. This is why it was a strategic mistake for Tinubu to think he profited anything from buying off individuals who worked against him in 2023 and were in Atiku's camp. It rather cost him a number of loyal supporters who wouldn't stay in the same party with shady characters like Reno and Bwala as a matter of principle.

Anyways, Tinubu himself is double-faced so we can understand why he would naturally gravitate towards people of their likes.

Releasing Nnamdi Kanu solely for political reasons will only end up costing the President more. Kanu should be immediately released and acquitted of all charges if found not guilty but Tinubu shouldn't think he can politicise his release to boost his chances of re-election. It will be counterproductive.

Tinubu himself jettisoned the Muslim-Muslim arrangement from day 1 and began to position himself as a Southern candidate. Unfortunately, that strategy has proven to be fatal. He has no option now than to go beg Kwankwaso to be his Vice. The arrogance is over!

As expected. It's official, Tinubu already knows he can't win in 2027. Try as he may, he cannot intimidate Nigerians into running unopposed in 2027. The fact that the coalition will be a force no matter the party nomenclature they adopt is sending them into shock. The handwriting is on the wall for the discerning.

When Tinubu ends up losing his re-election, Wike would be identified as a big factor behind the loss. Nigeria is not Rivers State neither is it Lagos. At this point, caution is advised. All that talk about "heaven will not fall" is only applicable in the Southsouth. Heaven may fall.

Things like this will only make the ADC become popular and give them sympathy votes. It is similar to Wike saying that the International Conference Centre renovated with 39 billion naira from taxpayers is fully booked till 2027. It was just a way of saying it won't be available to opposition parties. How about the NANS President telling us how the hotel he booked and paid for his inauguration was threatened to cancel the event. This is no way to win an election in Nigeria. Nigerians will always naturally side with the underdog and the intimidated.

Lies. The general sentiment is "Tinubu must go". Tell us the exact State in the South that you currently are. You cannot be in Yorubaland and be saying the South. Jonathan in 2011 won North Central and lost Core North, Obasanjo won North Central and Lost Core North, Tinubu alos won North Central and lost Core North.

Do you mean the insistence of Elrufai and other "core northern" governors that power must move to the South? Where is Elrufai today? How about Ganduje? Shettima nko? Which regions gave Tinubu his bloc votes in 2023? He only "won" Rivers outside of his SW region and only 4 out of 6 states even in the Southwest.

Tinubu's defeat will start from the Southwest. His disapproval rating is too high across the country for him to stand a chance. "The guy is gone!".

Tinubu won in 2023 with 5.6m votes from the North using muslim-muslim ticket. He has now lost the North because he failed at governance. Don't forget he lost woefully to Obi in the South. Only 5 states won by him in total. How come all of a sudden, Tinubu is now positioning himself as the Southern candidate? Obi fits that profile better, Tinubu is just a usurper.

The 2015 merger against Jonathan was Tinubu's idea. He said it himself during emilokan speech when he confessed going to Kaduna to encourage a retired Buhari to get back in the race and contest. Prior to that, Northerners voted Obasanjo for two terms without much rancour. Tinubu is the only person against Southern presidency.

If Tinubu feels he can win without the North in 2027, he's welcome to try but one thing he cannot succeed in doing, is to now claim to be the "Southern candidate". He will always remain and be known as the "muslim-muslim" candidate.

The fear and trepidation is beginning to envelop them. The ADC is not a new party. If Tinubu didn't attempt to destroy democracy by infiltrating all opposition parties out of fear, this move would not have been necessary.

Let us not get ahead of ourselves. Peter Obi is part of the coalition. In fact, in the meeting of the coalition leaders, Elrufai moved the motion for adoption of the ADC, and Peter Obi seconded the motion. The alliance coming is too heavy to be trivialised by just namedropping Atiku at this stage.

The North is done with Tinubu, you can take that to the bank!

Spiritualism aside, the data is showing that Tinubu will not win the 2027 elections. His disapproval rating across the country is very high. This is a scientific poll backed by statistics. As today, he has no pathway to re-election unless something drastic happens in the next years. Highly unlikely.

South West- There's no state Atiku can get up to 10% of the votes.

South East: There is not state here, Atiku will see up to 10% of the votes cast.

NORTH Central; With the exception of Taraba and Niger states( Where Atiku can get up to 25% of the votes) there is nothing for him in this Zone.

North West and North East ( Atiku will win handsomely here with born to rule mentality of the hausa fulani,) but that wont be enough to compete with Tinubu when the Numbers are added.

SUMMARY:
Atiku will only make 25% in about 15 states, while Tinubu is projected to make at least 25% in 32 states and Abuja!

Laughable. Don't worry Wike, Tinubu won't sack you. He would only use it as leverage to get you to do his bidding in 2027. He's that desperate. Very typical. When they're cornered they resort to whataboutism. Buhari was nepotistic but at least he distributed positions between the 3 regions of the North; Northeast, Northwest and Northcentral. Can we say the same about Tinubu? Don't cry for the bereaved, the Southeast are not complaining.

In this coalition, either Presidential candidate or his vice will come from the North. Did it stop them from appointing someone from the North?

In your coalition, what is in for the SE? Nothing.

Forget about all these attempts to gaslight, it's not working. Why not tell us about how Tinubu has maintained federal character by equitably distributing federal appointments even among the South? Or is this only applicable when discussing party positions?

If Tinubu cares about equity and the South, he would have supported Obi in 2023 and would not be seeking re-election now. This is why we say that Tinubu will have no points to campaign with 2027 because every single indices he could use will count against him.

The hatred for SW won’t allow some of you see beyond your nose. The north is not going to handover any power to the SE whether in four years or twenty years. If Atiku wins in 2027, he will contest for another term and there is nothing anybody can do about it.

Considering how the north has behaved since 2023, they will still put up a candidate even after 8 years of an Atiku presidency. They will simply coalesce around another El-Rufai, Tambuwal, Kwakwanso or whatever. The north can’t just do without power and a mere promise to just do one term is not what will make them handover to any Ibo person.

And the middle belt are no fools, they have nothing to benefit from another Fulani led government. The people of southern Kaduna are just breathing a sigh of relief from the shege they saw under Buhari/El-Rufai, they won’t run to another Atiku whose only campaign point is the restoration of Fulani hegemony and nothing else.

Whatever the case, you all are free to dream. We shall meet you fire for fire and treachery for treachery at the polls in 2027.

You may now try to play the victim and attempt to rewrite history but the sequence of events are well documented for posterity.

The North generally keep their word and maintain a pact until betrayed. When Elrufai put his neck on the line and insisted for power to return to the South, you all cheered him as a hero. When he went along with Tinubu to Arewa House in Kaduna and made the famous speech that Northerners will keep their word as was the legacy of Sardauna, Balewa and Aminu Kano, you all cheered him. When he openly became defiant against Aso Rock cabal inspiring millions of young Northerners to vote Tinubu despite naira policy and other landmines, he was an angel.

Tinubu won largely with 5.6m votes from the North and first thing he did was to treacherously humiliate Elrufai before the NA in a most undignified manner. He instigated Elrufai's successor Uba Sani to go against his benefactor and openly took sides. The reverse was the case in Rivers. Elrufai suddenly became the "butcher of Kaduna". Look at you even doubling down on that with the lies told about Elrufai and Southern Kaduna without any clue of historical contexts of the crisis that pre-dates Elrufai by decades. How sad! He immediately sidelined Shettima and banished him from the villa after attempts to exile him to a so-called VP house failed. He cornered every appointments for the Lagos bloc of the SW and completely disregarded other regions in a most nepotistic and brazen manner.

SW began to gloat of how Tinubu outsmarted the North and deceived them that he was sick. They said Northerners voted for Tinubu only because they thought he would die and Shettima would take over. What an insult! Two years into his tenure and in a most insulting manner, Tinubu is openly talking about replacing Shettima and has even betrayed another loyal Northern ally, Ganduje to bring in Kwankwaso. Just like with Elrufai, Kwankwaso is now enjoying praises but Northerners know he would immediately become the villain if Tinubu wins. They promise him the presidency in 2031, forgetting that they had already promised Ribadu the same. It is this treachery that is now costing Tinubu politically and making even Kwankwaso to drag feet about accepting Tinubu's offer. Instead of seeing people as partners like Buhari saw Osinbajo, he only sees them as vehicles for his ambition.

Tinubu betrayed the SW by destroying the Northern pact with the Southwest and the North will now seek an alliance with the East while leaving room for future reconciliation with trustworthy Omoluabis like Aregbesola and Osinbajo. The coalition will eventually bring other noble sons of the SW like Fashola into prominence. Unlike Tinubu who has banished and retired them by smearing their legacies and branding them as "betrayers".
