LegendHero:Lol. Why must everyone be sacrificed for the greed of one man. Tinubu should make the sacrifice instead of sacrificing others. Afterall, all this is happening because he's grossly unpopular. He only won 5 states in the entire South, even losing Lagos and Osun in the process with Rivers state being debatable. He's now sacrificing the political careers of those who went to great lengths to deliver him when he couldn't deliver himself. Is that how to inspire loyalty? |
LegendHero:Lol. If you insist, but don't come back after the election to lament that Northerners betrayed you. You are the one who has chosen to build castles in the air. Where is Elrufai? Where is Shettima? How about Ganduje? All sacrificed for the ambition of one man. Even Ribadu is fast learning that he's not the prince that was promised. Kwankwaso is suddenly the new bride abi? We will all learn politics together. P.S: Assuming but not conceding that Atiku/Obi will be the coalition ticket, then Tinubu has already lost. All 4 were on the ballot in 2023, so you can do the numbers. |
Premium Times is reporting that he has resigned already. Clearly, Tinubu is in panic mode. He's scared stiff of the coalition. Kwankwaso will not save Tinubu in the Northwest, because Northerners now know he's untrustworthy. Plus, he's now set to lose the Northeast resoundingly. Ganduje and Kwankwaso cannot co-exist in the same party but Tinubu is too desperate to care. He's throwing everyone under the bus for his own ambition. Expect sabotage from those who choose to stay behind in the APC. The North will take back the APC and Tinubu will still not win. |
Tinubu's determination to destroy all opposition parties in order to run unopposed will be the single most important reason why the coalition will ultimately succeed. That singular action has made the coalition very popular. Right now, Nigerians are just waiting for the platform to be adopted irrespective of the nomenclature. That is a danger to the APC. |
richiemcgold:Tell it to your new found friend, Shehu Sani. He told us back in 2019 that Lamido is an authority on the matter.
|
He's carrying out a heist while using project commissioning and sycophancy to blindside the narcissistic president. He's been taking frontpage cover of newspapers everyday for the past week to advertise the commissioning of one local government-tier project per day that could all have been done in one day. It's becoming boring even to the President but he can't say that to Wike due to forthcoming elections. Plus it presents an opportunity for them to continue their 2027 campaign.
|
NewHe:Do you know why the Ebonyi State International Airport is no longer called Muhammadu Buhari Airport? It was because Buhari declined the naming of the airport after him by Umahi. Just as he rebuffed attempts to name the Second Niger Bridge after him. In contrast, I wouldn't be surprised if Tinubu has made it a criteria for a project to be named after him before he graces the commissioning. Yes, he's that much of a narcissist.
|
"Don't give them a home." Is that a subtle message to INEC? What is the so-called master strategist afraid of? If he really is who he thinks he is, he shouldn't be afraid to face the opposition at the polls. Instead, it appears there's deliberate stiffling of all opposition parties in order for him to run unopposed. That's undemocratic. |
They have all seen that the megalomaniac loves sycophancy and they are playing the part. He's desperately trying to immortalise himself while alive because he fears for his legacy. Don't forget the very first "project" of his administration which he commissioned at Eagle Square, the largest portrait in the world which was a portrait of himself. Pathetic!
|
Good. This is what Nigerians expect but the words should be backed with concrete actions. It's too early to have swung into campaign mode just two years after, commissioning local government-level projects named after yourself when Nigerians are still smarting from the pains of the "reforms". |
Using IDPs as a jibe in a region beseiged by several displaced persons borne out of insecurity was in bad taste. He's sounding less and less confident and seems scared of the coalition. Tinubu has barely governed since assuming power, politicking started from day one. That "the guy is gone" statement really got him rattled. His only pathway is to continue to deny oppositions a platform to contest. |
chiiraq802:Okay. We've seen his grade in politricks, what is his score in governance? You keep mouthing "Tinubu is not Jonathan" but he's the first presidential candidate to have won an election with the least margin ever in the history of the country. Northern votes (5.6m) made him president, and that is fast evaporating. He lost the South woefully and is on course to lose the South again. Yes, Tinubu is not Jonathan but he's also not Buhari with a cult followership of 12m votes. He's beatable. |
All of a sudden, he's not sounding so confident anymore. He sounds scared of the coalition. Tinubu has barely governed since assuming power, politicking started from day one. He was in Nassarawa to commission a 1km road and interchange named after himself. This is becoming worrisome for someone whose first commissioned "project" was the unveiling of the world's largest portrait at Eagle Square, a portrait of himself. Fellow Nigerians, what's really happening?
|
chiiraq802:We agree but which part of the South? Tinubu should immediately step down and support Obi then. I think it's a little too late for the SW to be begging for unity. @topic, heads or tail, for allowing this speculation to fester, Tinubu has lost their votes already even if he ends up retaining Shettima. But the blowback will be even more severe if he drops Shettima. Contrary to what he thinks, choosing someone from the Northwest will still not make Northwesterners support Tinubu. Northerners are not like that. They are already wary of him and looking at him with distrust after the betrayal of Elrufai. Without the entire South rallying round him, I truly don't see a pathway to Tinubu's re-election. "The guy is gone!" - MNAE |
Yet another project named after the self-absorbed megalomaniac with low self-esteem. He's desperately trying to immortalise himself while alive because he fears for his legacy. Don't forget the very first "project" of his administration which he commissioned at Eagle Square, the largest portrait in the world which was a portrait of himself. Pathetic!

Why is the President of the most populous black country on earth dealing directly with a shady individual with questionable history? What happened to bilateral trade? Tinubu does not seem to be rated highly by leaders from other climes, especially in the west. His only destination is France and he seems lost and isolated when in the presence of other world leaders. He does not have the charisma of Buhari nor the clout and reach of Obasanjo. |
Speak against the President and every attack dog responding is from his own ethnicity. No diversity at all. It now makes it look like a battle between regions. This is generally bad optics and shows how skewed his appointments are. Even Shehu Sani said back in 2019 that Sule Lamido's version of events is one to look out for. Today he's speaking but they are silent because they are now back in the APC and have been bribed with CON.
|
Was he ever part of the coalition? Who invited him? The proponents of the coalition are politicians and students of power, and politicians are ambitious. What's wrong with that? |
One thing about bullies is that when you stand up to them, they quickly fold. |
favor914:But Tinubu is losing even in the real world. Do a personal survey around your area and be honest with yourself. And yes, even if you live in the Southwest, the current voter sentiment does not favour Tinubu. |
seunmsg:And how are you going to do that? Will you come all the way from Ekiti to vote him out in Borno? If the President goes ahead to drop Shettima, APC as a party will collapse in the Northeast, and they will be mass exodus. The number of people currently discontented about happenings in the APC are more than the ones openly speaking up against it. They are just biding their time. |
Ask Adeleke to decamp to the APC and Tinubu will release the allocation. He's a master strategist. |
Remi Tinubu met Lukashenko in July 2024 Bola Tinubu introduces Belarusian Alex Zingman, allegedly an arms dealer, as his classmate in 2025 Do the math.
|
What would change? In a clear show of dereliction of duty, Tinubu went to Benue and told the Governor to take charge. |
Slytiger:Yeah. He wasn't. He entered into a plea bargain. Another person that was never charged was Buruji Kashamu. He was also a "free man". He even returned to the country to contest for Governor. You're free to pick your leaders and heroes in your region from whatever gutter, but don't expect the rest of us to do the same. |
The battle of the sycophants. Reno is simply marking his territory. He has seen that the two-faced snake Sowunmi, just like him has abandoned Atiku and is lurking around Tinubu. He had to do him dirty to show to their paymasters that he's a better sycophant than Sowunmi.
|
Slytiger:Same way Tinubu was never charged for the drug dealing case as well. But if your cronies are the likes of Chargoury and suspected arm dealers, then it really leaves much to be desired. No smoke without fire. Remi Tinubu met Lukashenko in July 2024 Bola Tinubu introduces Belarusian Alex Zingman, allegedly an arms dealer, as his classmate in 2025 Do the math.
|
They are all pens-for-hire, Reno, Sowunmi and Olisa Metuh. You can bet Reno, the self-proclaimed "meticulous record keeper", is also keeping records about his new sponsors in the APC. We would be here when he comes to spew it all. It will be in Ribadu's best interest to be wary of Reno.

For the revisonist batists who would want to come here to gloat, Elrufai was begged publicly by Tinubu at Murtala Square Kaduna to serve in his government. It was the famous speech, "Dear brother Nosiru, promise me you won't run away...I won't leave the stage until you promise to stay back and work with me" And even after winning, he kept sending emissaries to Elrufai to convince him to agree to work with him, only to do what he did to MKO Abiola to him. Tinubu thought he had ended Elrufai's career by that act of betrayal without realising that Mallam has nothing to lose. Sule Lamido was right!
|
deji17:Then maybe you should have made him minister then. This line is overplayed and these adjectives actually describes Tinubu's persona. @topic: Tinubu knows it, too and he has seen the polls. His only pathway to victory is to make sure he contests unopposed. Hence why he's focused on scuttling all other political parties. So much for a democracy activist. What is he afraid of?
