IbrahimSola:Reno Omokri, Femi Fani Kayode, etc. It rather speaks volumes that the president seem to be attracted to his kind and even go out of his way to reward them. What message is he trying to pass beyond bribing them to desist from attacks against his person? Meanwhile, those who genuinely worked for his re-election are sidelined with some like Elrufai even under detention. Posterity will be very unkind to Tinubu. |
creativejagaban:Offering positions and money to your accusers is not a display of smartness or principles. It simply means you're guilty and are only offering them a bribe to desist from the embarrassing attacks. Here's Daniel Bwala admitting today on Space that Obidients have outmuscled Tinubu's water carriers out of social media and blaming it on refusal of heads of government agencies to mobilise them. We have always maintained that Tinubu has no single organic supporter. Everyone you see supporting him today is doing so for a fee or hoping to be paid.
|
Here's another op ed by one of the Tinubu media handlers against Daniel Bwala. It's a civil war! https://x.com/governmentinubu/status/2041108597606674451 |
What due process did NDC follow that other political parties didn't? This only shows INEC is bias. Same NDC has long been touted as Wike's special purpose vehicle for fielding a candidate against Fubara in the instance that he loses out with the PDP. How did it get registered over other applications for registration? |
fergie001:Here's the interview. They are now organising media outings for themselves where they can get the interviewer to ask them predetermined questions so they can vent. Daniel Bwala is going through a lot right now.
|
This one is under pressure. There's a cold war brewing in Aso Rock among the president's media spokespersons. Ever since the disaster that was the Mehdi Hassan interview, Onanuga and Sunday Dare have been scheming to get Tinubu to sack Bwala as was done to Ajuri. All gloves appear to be off amongst the trio. @topic, here's a video proving Daniel Bwala wrong. Everything he said against Tinubu here have proven to be correct though.
|
mascot87:What does it matter whether he was with Tinubu today or not? The fact is that he does not want to be associated with the slave chain insignia cap. Tinubu should be very worried about some of the 36 state governors he was so desperate to have in his camp. |
We tried to warn Tinubu and his water carriers not to upset the equation in Kano, but they said we don't know what we're talking about. Now, the chickens have come home to roost. What's sad in Kano is that even Ganduje and Barau camps are silently aggrieved while Abba has no single structure of his own. He was probably carried away by the massive support he receives on the streets, not realising that he's just a passenger benefitting off the Kwankwasiyya Movement. Tinubu would have been better off maintaining the status quo from 2023. We don't know who sold him the idea that destroying all opposition parties was a good idea. That has backfired tremendously as it has only succeeded in uniting various camps against him. |
What happened to the "bold reforms" and massive revenue? These Lagos boys have outborrowed all previous governments and yet, things have never been this difficult. Where is the money? |
Is that a threat or a promise? |
If the elections were to hold in the North today between Obi and Tinubu, Northerners will massively vote for Peter Obi. Obi can be trusted to keep his word but Tinubu has already proven to be a betrayer of trust. Elrufai is one of the equivalents of Sardauna in the North today but Tinubu has him illegally incarcerated without bail. This was despite the fact that Elrufai made Tinubu president. Instigating and incitive tweets like these from the APC camp even though overlooked by the authorities, is only making Nigerians determined to send Tinubu back to Iragbiji. Be rest assured that the North will exert its pound of flesh. Time is a gentleman. |
Tochitee:Lol. Hold a free and fair election in Lagos today and Obi will defeat your tin-god. Majority of his votes will also come from the Omoluabis in Lagos. Tinubu has done the surveys. He's probably been told he has no clear pathway to re-election. His only strategy left is to try to be the only major candidate on the ballot but that is dead on arrival. If Peter Obi is our common enemy, are we still doing "Southern unity" or not? Let us know. |
He's a dictator at heart but lives in morbid fear of his own shadow. Cowardice has no better definition than that. |
Commendable but aren't we regurgitating and remasticating news article for want of achievements? This approval was given as far back as 2024.
|
The only key takeaway is that Funsho Williams who came close in 2003 was found assassinated before the next cycle. Jimi Agbaje came close in 2015 and then came the infamous "drown in the lagoon" comment to make him the "Igbo candidate". Rhodes-Vivor came close in 2023 after Obi handed their behinds to them on a plate but then came "our Lagos, not your Lagos" amid massive violence and voters suppression. The lesson to unpack from all these is that someone's hold on Lagos is very fragile and have only succeeded due to stoking hatred. We wonder whether same tactic will be utilised in 2027 now that we are also desperate for "Southern unity". We can't be preaching Southern unity for the presidential elections while screaming "go back to where you came from" in the gubernatorial, or can we? Lessons! |
Ballmer:That post is not from an Obidient. It is from one of Tinubu's water carriers disguising as one. |
lawani:Now that defeat is staring you and Tinubu in the face, you suddenly want Nigeria to break up abi? Why then did Tinubu jail Nnamdi Kanu and why has Sunday Igboho given up his "Yoruba nessan" agitations to become an APC apologist? Una think say una wise abi? Well, Tinubu has less than 8 months to divide the country. Any agitations for breakup after he's voted out by the rest of Nigerians shall be met with brute force. |

Stale. In other news, over 500k Nigerians have registered as ADC members since the joke by INEC. Of their own free accord, nit coerced or deceived like the "other party". The momentum continues to grow strong. Join the train! |
They are achievement grabbers. Same way he sprang out of nowhere and claimed he built Lagos. |
FSBoperator:What exactly is the point you're trying to make? That it was a wrong move getting Jonathan out of power? If so, how do you intend to exonerate Tinubu from this when he's the biggest beneficiary of that "alliance" after Buhari himself? He even usurped the turn of the Southeast to grab power back after 8 years of Obasanjo and 8 years of Osinbajo as Vice. This Southern agenda will not agend o but you can continue to try. |
Freshtruth:They need not decamp. They will stay in the APC and do the needful. That's the only way to ensure their own political survival. The tsunami coming is not a joke. |
FSBoperator:Interesting. Except that it was Tinubu who left Lagos to Daura to convince a retired Buhari to come help get his Southern brother, Jonathan, out of office. This Southern agenda thing is not going as planned for you all. Even the NADECO and Obi thing backfired badly. |
FSBoperator:Punch of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway propaganda media toilet papers? Yes. |
Punch and TheNation newspapers of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway propaganda media machinery have been on overdrive since the illegality by INEC. They've been putting out sensational media stories to gauge the pulse of the people so Tinubu can act accordingly. Nigerians, do not fall for their tricks. Tinubu has no pathway to re-election. |
LegendHero:Indeed. "Southern Nigeria" but Chargoury is implementing 18 trillion naira projects in Nigeria, all in Lagos. What's in it for other parts of the South? If Tinubu shares your view, he wouldn't have desperately ran on a muslim-muslim ticket just to get elected. Northern Nigeria gave him 5.6m votes and made him president. Obi wiped him on the floor across the rest of the South, including in Lagos. That was why he ran to disenfranchise Obi from the Labour party and has continued to do the same in every other major political party. Tinubu is still unpopular in the South. Even more so than in the North. P.S: 9 million dollars invested in the security architecture of Plateau state will go a long way in ending the killings. Or at least, ensure that there's electricity at the Jos airport so Tinubu can at least visit the victims in the state. |
LegendHero:The difference is that Tinubu is in a position to actually do something about the killings as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces but prefers to splurge a whooping 9.5m dollars of tax payer's money to convince Trump that all is well in Nigeria. He went to Jos and couldn't even go beyond the airport out of fear and insensitivity. You can't hire lobby groups to cover that. |
Nigerians, stand your ground! Eventually, both Tinubu and the INEC will fold to the will of the people. Voter "revalidation" is Tinubu's idea. He proposed the same in 2022, but Buhari and INEC under Mahmud Yakubu rejected it.
|
LegendHero:Noted. Now, tell us the crime committed if a presidential aspirant who isn't holding any current government position decides to hire a lobby group. Lobbying is part of the politicking process. Tell Tinubu to hire his own lobby group instead of attempting to undemocratically stifle all opposition and run unopposed. |
LegendHero:Quick question, is Atiku broke or not? You can't be mouthing off two conflicting statements at the same time. |
LegendHero:Lol. Really? Both Atiku and the ADC are using the same lobby group right? How much did the ADC pay for theirs? Certainly not 9.5m dollars. Isn't it miraculous how we went from "Atiku is broke" to "Atiku is paying 1.2 million dollars for lobbying?" |
False. The ADC has engaged lobby groups to tender Tinubu's obstruction of democracy in Nigeria before Donald Trump and the international community. Nigerians know Tinubu lives in morbid fear of Trump. The lobby group will be engaging with Trump and other members of Congress on the matter. Tinubu is already in Trump's and Netanyahu's bad books. He should thread carefully. Here's the group's tweet on the matter. https://x.com/batten_von/status/2039806668351906006 |
