abc115:Because of this video below. Abba Kabir was loved by the citizens of Kano but has now been forced to procure support from his own people. That's what identifying with Tinubu does to you in the North.
|
Two hypocrites deceiving themselves and putting on a show for the camera. Why pretend to be cool in public only to backstab each other later? That's an attribute people from other regions struggle to understand. |
Lithiumite:What does Tinubu and Okowa have in common? A lot actually. How about Tinubu, Chargoury and Atiku Bagudu? |
What changed? Morally flexible Snake oil merchant. How is this person a presidential spokesman? Daniel Bwala is working for Atiku?
|
CodeTemplar:The likelihood of Tinubu changing Shettima and replacing him with a Northern Christian is fast ebbing away so expect the likes of Kukah to start subtly applying pressure. Before now, they were posturing to become the VP candidate after being assured of it by "people who can't keep their words". They sold their people and conscience for next-to-nothing. |
You are still stuck in 2023? The ship has since sailed. Tinubu’s woeful performance and desperation has united all opposition parties in an unprecedented manner. |
Whatever Tinubu does and no matter how hard he tries to be the only candidate on the ballot, he will not return re-elected. The only reason Nigerians have been patient is because they want to follow the legal route and take out their pound of flesh by exercising their right at the ballot. It will be naïve for any one man to think he will deprive a nation of over 200 million people of that right and continue to enjoy legitimacy. |
MarkNsukkaBread:I thought Tinubu has prevented that by amending the electoral law to allow for direct primaries? How would he do that? By sending dollars into every ADC member's account? |
MrMcJay:If Tinubu wanted Obi to be "free", he shouldn't have destroyed the Labour party. The same way his attempts to lure Abba Kabir to APC made Kwankwaso to now align with Atiku and Obi, which was unprecedented. The so-called master strategist is tieing himself in a knot. |
Tinubu has boxed himself into a corner. At this point, Nigerians will support whatever combination the opposition coalition presents. He has totally lost the North while Southern unity is dead. Tinubu's recent actions have also pitched undecided voters to the coalition and that's a huge plus. This is Nigeria. There are no Kings! |
Okoyeeboz:Maybe when you tell us how Obi won Lagos under Sanwo-olu, Gbajabiamila, Obasa and Tinubu himself, I will tell you. Tinubu was highly unpopular in 2023 but Elrufai stuck his neck for him regardless, courting enemies in the process. Tinubu is now grossly unpopular than he was in 2023. Why is Ribadu or whomever not sticking his neck out there for him like Elrufai did? Once bitten, twice shy. Lessons! |
NgeneUkwenu:Lol. Punch newspapers? Well, over here, it's Aci Dadi lafiya all over the place.
|
When we said every defectee to the APC did so not out of love but due to inducement, coercion, engineered crisis and necessity, this is what we were talking about. Is Tinubu prepared to win the election or just wants to project a false air of popularity by stiffling his ops. In the end, you can't buy love neither can you copy respect. The Nigerian people are with the opposition coalition. Sabuwar tafiya!
|
yarimo:Lol. Okay o. Abba will deliver Kano to Tinubu while Ribadu will deliver the rest of the North to him like Elrufai did in 2023.
|
givedemwotowoto:Lol. Are you sure? Checkout the below videos. The governor even passed through the market, see Kano people walking past without even a second glance. This would have never happened under Kwankwaso. The guy is gone!
|
benardtotti:Yes o. We are shaking right now. We will all learn politics together. The governor should wrap up the charade and go home. He miscalculated. Who is he putting on a show for? Tinubu?
|
EmperorIsaac:Oga, Tinubu is afraid. In 2023, he won because the North gave him 5.6m votes out of his total 8.3m. This has since changed with his woeful performance and betrayal. Meanwhile, he has barely moved the needle in terms of support among the Southern electorates. Where will his votes come from? Tinubu is not naïve. He has seen the survey. That's why he's determined to disenfranchise the opposition party in order to be unopposed. |
Sensational news article. The NDC is out of the equation if at all. It was formed via a court order which will be quickly vacated once the opposition defects to the party. The ADC will be on the ballot come 2027. The good thing is that for the coalition, Nigerians are now even more determined to vote for them regardless of the political platform upon which they run but ADC will be the platform. Tinubu is becoming restless and desperate but 2027 is inevitable. |
Lol. Tinubu really did fumble his chances with how he handled the Kano situation. Abba's move has disorganised the APC in the state with no clear gain for the president. Gawuna (800k votes) has decamped to the ADC to join Kwankwaso with a clear score to settle. Ganduje was deprived the chance to select a true successor while Barau had his own gubernatorial aspirations scuttled. All these to entice an Abba Kabir with no real structure of his own. Little wonder he is now doing all it takes to destroy the ADC. |
In 2022, during Buhari’s tenure, Tinubu said INEC permanent voters cards were expired and needed to be revalidated. INEC and Buhari rejected it. Under Tinubu's tenure, INEC is now carrying out voters card revalidation in what many fear will disenfranchise voters. Yet, his water carriers want Nigerians to believe INEC have not been captured.
|
Say no more. When Abacha became head of state, first thing he bought were pleasure boats, Chargouri was in the picture. Guess who did the same in his first 6 months as president. Why are Abacha's men, Chargouri and Atiku Bagudu, Tinubu's closest allies today? NADECO needs to be revisited. We were sold a lie.
|
Putindbutt:Lol. Oga, ADC will be on the ballot come 2027. No worry yourself. The party is seeing an unprecedented surge of entrants into its fold in the past few days after the INEC fiasco. Tinubu has no pathway to re-election and he must face his opponents at the ballot.
|
seunmsg:Lol. I like how you lot are unravelling fast. Yesterday it was PDP, it is now ADC today. A day before it was Labour party. Be rest assured that ADC will be on the ballot come 2027 or Tinubu should prepare to declare himself the grand dictator of Lagos. He who thinks he's leading and has no one following is only taking a walk. In other news, the candidate of the PDP in Kaduna in the 2023 gubernatorial elections, Isah Ashiru Kudan, will be picking his ADC membership card in his ward tomorrow. See you in 2027.
|
LibertyRep:Lol. Elrufai and the North made Tinubu president. He has no pathway to re-election as at today. |
He said same about Tinubu, only to proceed to lap up his vomit after Tinubu became president. He will also position himself to sing Obi's praises when he becomes president. The only difference would be that Obi won't have paid sycophants on payroll. Morally flexible snake-oil merchants. |
Christ4ever:You wish. Seriake Dickson's party was formed with a court order that will soon be vacated as soon as any strong opposition defects to the party. They never applied for registration like other parties like ADA that INEC refused to register. Take it to the bank, ADC will be on the ballot in 2027. As at this morning, the party continues to receive massive defections from the APC in the grassroots. https://x.com/KafinHausaa/status/2040334764234699057 |
Lol. APC are becoming desperate, turning and misinterpreting news articles. This was Nafiu Bala before he got mobilised by "we know who". The ADC is unperturbed.
|
Chivisee:By una, you mean the rest of Nigerians except a handful in the Southwest right? The ADC has seen a massive surge in registrations after the INEC fiasco. If you think anyone will be able to perpetuate themselves in power by disenfranchising opposition in Nigeria and running unopposed, then I have a bridge to sell to you. We will see how it goes. Tinubu has no pathway to re-election as at today. Time is a gentleman. |
kunle4toyeyaho:Who is Dumebi Kachikwu? Is he also an Executive of the party? Tinubu has demoralised his supporters of good conscience who thought he had a chance. The ones supporting him currently now knows he can only get re-elected if he's the only major candidate on the ballot but that will never happen! |
MagicBishop:This same deputy? Tinubu should prepare for elections. His fate is inevitable. Video in the link shows Nafiu Bala smiling sheepishly and applauding as David Mark's hand is being raised as Chairman of the ADC by Nwosu. You cannot change your mind after the deed is done because you've been mobilised. That's not how resignation works.
|
Mynd44:What judges and what are their judgements? How does reverting to status quo ante belum suddenly get interpreted by INEC to mean the ADC has no leaders? Have they ever being a time when there was a vacuum in the party's leadership? They should have approached the courts for an interpretation if they were confused. |
Mynd44:You are very incorrect in your quest to support the APC. Under the ADC Constitution, it is not just the wards that can suspend a member. Leke Abejide was just an elected official under the party. He never at any time led the party. Tinubu had better thread carefully on this one. It is becoming one too many and he will not succeed in his quest to run unopposed due to fear.
