bewla:Lol. Why didn't primary elections hold in Ekiti and Osun states? Why did the strongest candidates like that Engineer in Ekiti and Omisore in Osun get disqualified in favour of Tinubu's preferred candidates? Banana dey spoil, Agbadorians talk say e dey ripe. |
This one woke up early this morning with Peter Obi on his mind. He probably dreamt about Peter Obi too. |
When we said the government is engaging in massive news suppression and underreporting security issues in order to win elections, this is what we are talking about. How could they have swung into action when their first reaction was to deny it ever happened? Now they have to deal with the international embarrassment. As far as APC is concerned, it's optics over results. |
AAEEI:Pants on fire! Unity begging on steroids. Southern solidarity indeed. The South didn't vote Tinubu in 2023. He only won 4 Southwestern states. The North made him President with 5.6m votes. |
Gotocourt:I saw that part and laughed. Kwankwaso is not even a governor and he has been demanding for automatic V.P ticket after demanding the sack of Ganduje as APC chairman. Tinubu never even thought twice before granting his request then. |
benardtotti:Lol. This is the politics section. How is having both Wike and Fubara working out for Tinubu in Rivers state? He's about to replicate the same scenario in Kano by having both Ganduje and Kwankwaso in the same party. In the end, he'll have to pick a side. |
Make no mistakes, the Datti brothers are both on the payroll of Tinubu. Don't forget that the senior Datti immediately bagged an appointment as Tinubu's political adviser after the 2023 elections wherein his brother was a Vice candidate to Obi. He probably recommended the younger Datti to Obi as a member of the Northern Elders Forum knowing fully well that he cannot deliver his polling unit. Obi is smarter now. |
Lol. Tinubu is afraid. He wants everyone in his party and also wants to be the only candidate on the ballot. He has 36 state governors but he's still not confident of victory. I thought Agbadorians told us Governor Abba Kabir is a big fish and will deliver Kano to Tinubu? Why is Tinubu still begging Kwankwaso despite his outrageous demands and his insistence on having the V.P slot? Kwankwaso is using his threats of defecting to ADC as leverage to get Tinubu to do his bidding because he knows he's desperate. In the end, Tinubu will throw Ganduje and Shettima under the bus just to get Kwankwaso. It will prove to be a grave mistake. |
seunmsg:Lol. Mr English. The below quote was in reference to submissions from Anyanwu's lawyer. Maybe you're more informed on the matter than him. My theory is that Wike has already began to work on a plan B in preparation for his impending betrayal by Tinubu. How can you claim Anyanwu is still the National Secretary when his lawyer is publicly stating otherwise. "When the matter came up on Tuesday Anyanwu, through his lawyer, K. C. Njemanze (SAN), informed the court that he intends to withdraw the suit having been overtaken by events. He explained that as at today when the matter came up, Anyanwu is no longer the National Secretary as his tenure expired in November, last year. While blaming the situation on the judicial process in the country, he urged the court to strike out the suit in order not to waste the precious time of the court." |
Cajal:Lol. Meanwhile, Tinubu is still begging Kwankwaso to defect. Doesn't he believe that Abba and Atiku’s son will deliver the North to him? Cc: Seunmsg. We told you Tinubu will fold and grant Kwankwaso all of his demands. But it won't be enough! Tinubu has not slept a wink upon hearing of the possibility of Kwankwaso joining the ADC. But Kwankwaso is just toying with his mind and using the ADC as a bargaining chip.
|
AlphaTaikun:Yet, Shettima is not a fula but Tinubu is scheming to replace him with Kwankwaso. Abba Kabir, another Fula is not enough for him. He continues to beg Kwankwaso to decamp even until this very hour. Keep the comments coming, I assure you that they are quietly being noted. Meanwhile, when you meet fulas in the North, you try to appease them by antagonising Igbos, your fellow Southerners.
|
Lol. Just laughing. That thing that Agbadorians pretending to be Obidients on this thread fear, will definitely happen. |
Nawao. It is Tuesday and governor Abba is still yet to defect. I think at this point, NNPP would have to give him an ultimatum following which he should be expelled if he fails to defect. If all states will have to support Tinubu and be in the APC to get their due, then it means we are not practicing democracy. |
LegendHero:Read the comment you quoted again. This time, slowly. |
chicfarmer:They have to show Tinubu that they are working to deliver him na. How else will they get campaign funds if they don't show workings? |
Lol. Predictable. We know the APC will try to keep remnants of the PDP alive to prevent them from joining the ADC but they overplayed their hands and that ship has sailed. They never foresaw opposition figures coalescing under one party. That was never the intention of Tinubu and Wike. A two-horse race election will be detrimental to Tinubu's chances. |
Good. The arrogance is beginning to give way to fear. Gradually, the handwriting on the wall will become very clear. |
The fear and trepidation is already beginning to manifest. If that's the case, Shehu Sani need not say it before it even materialises. Uba Sani won his re-election with barely 10,000 votes. All this so-called achievements are only on social media. The reality on ground is different with no concrete project delivered and Kaduna being more dirty and unkempt than it has ever been. The truth is that PDP has very strong presence in Kaduna and thanks to Tinubu for destroying the party, it will now metamorphose into ADC and can potentially dislodge Uba Sani who now only has finished politicians like Shehu Sani in his corner. If the ADC maintains the momentum it is gradually building across the North, the wave will sweep Uba Sani away. |
Op, @Arafat2022, where is the source? We know the APC will try to keep remnants of the PDP alive to prevent them from joining the ADC but they overplayed their hands and that ship has sailed. They never foresaw opposition figures coalescing under one party. That was never the intention of Tinubu and Wike. |
This and many more were why Buhari had cult-like following until his death and even to this day, especially among the talakawas. He conquered his flesh and earthly possessions but not without cost. Apparently, even his wife could no longer endure nor understand his prudence and forthrightness. Compare and contrast with what we have today under Tinubu. |
The president went to France to attend Chargoury's birthday and bestow the second highest title in the land to him but he couldn't even be honest and transparent with Nigerians. Agbadorians brag that Tinubu has no cabal but that assertion falls flat when deeply interrogated. Would you rather have a president having fellow Nigerians as cabals or one who's cabals are foreigners? Chargoury was heavily involved with Abacha and even got asked to return some of Abacha's loots. Badaru was heavily involved with Abacha and is well known as his "bagman". He's currently Tinubu's minister of budget. There will certainly be a "Tinubu loot" after his tenure.
|
But Agbadorians told us the Worldbank and IMF have said Nigeria is doing well. Do ordinary Nigerians with their lived realities know more than the Worldbank and IMF? |
Kogi state is another implosion-prone state that we should all be on the lookout for. We all know all is not well between the Ododo/Yahaya Bello camp and the Faleke/Onoja camp. Tinubu seeking to impose Faleke on the state will only end up sinking the APC in the state. |
Lol. Yet another date? Well, let's hope for the sake of the likes of Seunmsg and his co-travellers that the defection happens today. They have put in so much emotions into this to be left disappointed. The incessant postponement has killed all momentum that APC hoped the defection will bring. The people of Kano have even coined a response to his defection, "Aci dadi lafiya". The governor will be defecting to APC with no real structure of his own. He will rather be demanding automatic ticket while hoping to be "carried" by Ganduje and Barau. It will be a repetition of the Wike- Fubara scenario in Rivers. In any case, this will mean that Kwankwaso will now fully be in charge of both the APC and the Kwankwasiyya structure in Kano without making any commitments to Tinubu. If you know, you know! |
The psychopath should be immediately euthanized without further delay! |
We have always maintained that Pat Utomi is Tinubu's mole, right from his stint with Obi in the Labour party. When the grass is cut, the snake will show. |
Na wao. E don reach like this? Let us hear from Bishop Kukah, Tinubu's latest political appointee in Kaduna state. |
Sannisege:Tinubu will be the first and heaven will not fall! |
Gotocourt:Wike thought that after destroying the PDP and LP for Tinubu, the APC will roll out the carpet for him. Little did he know that he was being set up and used. |
My joy is that Tinubu will not be there forever. The table will eventually turn. Once that happens, we don't want to hear "he was a Mobil accountant before politics" from any Agbadorian o. Every single penny and property amassed will be properly explained or forfeited. |
Na wao. One week, one trouble. These are not the best of times for our lida, the Obio-Akpor Ghengis Khan. |
