he has animashaun as is signature

he should come and tell me if mallam adamu animashaun is his grandfather or great grandfather or not, if he related to adamu then hes not a yoruba but an gnorant hausa who thinks hes yoruba.

amingafar:
Mustapha Adamu Animashaun -

Animashaun was born as a freeman in the ancient city of Kano. The name of his father was Usman, while his mother was the daughter of the Chief Imam of Kano, Mallam Ibrahim. At the early age of eight, he lost his status as a freeman when he was captured as a slave, during a turbulent time in Kano. He was then sold to the palace of the Emir of Zazzau and was trained by the emir's son. As a steward in the Emir's palace, he was afforded the opportunity to travel to a few Northern Nigerian cities, he also lived in Cairo for five years. However, his search for freedom soon hit the rocks; while returning from Egypt, he was captured again and re-sold as a slave to the Waziri of Sokoto. He later left the Islamic city of Sokoto for Ilorin with a Sokoto man, Mallam Madugu. In Ilorin, he was sold to Alfa (cleric) Bello of Agbaji quarters, an Islamic center of renowned scholarship. While in Ilorin, he was raised and taught in the Islamic way; he also chose the name Adamu, a popular name at the time and was also quite popular among his peers.[3] He was finally sold to his last master, Idris Animashaun, the head of a government Muslim school in Lagos. He enrolled in the Muslim school in 1896, where he was able to apply the Arabic and astrology knowledge he had learned in Egypt and Ilorin. His experience in the school was quite a success, he only spent two years in the school as he was already an astute and literate man well versed in Islamic knowledge which was the major vocal point of the Lagos Islamic School.

one thing i dont like about yorubas is many don know their real origins.

HISTORY
Late Alfa Momoh (Shaluwala) Kadiku was an Islamic Scholar and Jihadist. .He was of Eyaji-Nupe ethnic of Bida Emirate under the Nupe Empire. Nupe empire later formed part of the Nothern protectorate like the Southern protectorate which included the defunct Benin empire.
LINEAGE
The Eyaji-Nupe lineage are of the Yoruba and Nupe stock that settled at Isale-Eko. Momoh Kadiku was the maternal halve brother to the late Oba Kosoko Eshinlokun (Kosoko I), who was the first son of Oba Eshinlokun Ologunkutere (Eshinlokun I).

The under listed are the few Muslim families that returned to Lagos from Baado-Isale in Epe and of Nupe descendant;
1.Momoh Kadiku of Ita-Alagba
2.Daudu Family of Lafiaji
3.Mabinuori Family of Olowogbowo
4.Balogun-Okolo of Ita-Balogun
5.Oshodi-Tapa of Epetedo
6.Momoh Bawala of Oluwole
7.Gaji family of Isaleko
8.Aganga Williams of Idumota
9.Alli Balogun of Oluwole
10.Shitta-Bay of Ita Shitta
11.Oluwo Jakande of Okepopo (Chief Priest to Kosoko)

You guys should stop this your yeye crap! However,I still maintain my earlir stance, there are very few Yorubas in the north; because we don't like mingling with lowlives. We are more sophisticated than those pigs north of the niger! That, my friends, is the plain truth.
are you sure youre not one of them? you know an hausa or nupe slave sold to the yoruba?

Mustapha Adamu Animashaun - you see his yoruba surname right he was actually hausa

Sorry but the south is more populated and those who are populating the north by large amounts are not even those people from neighboring countries, but they are Igbo and Yorubas. They are in the millions in the north. So when the old census format is corrected and tribe is considered in the registration then those southerners( Igbo and Yoruba) will be counted towards their tribes, which are southern tribes. The false population of Hausa, Fulanis, kanuris will plummet. So yea, greed has really come back to bite you all in the butt.
north will continue to be more populated even if its with almirijis and beggars democracy is numbers and we have it. the yorubas in the north are mainly yoruba northerner from kebbi niger kwara who are mixed with fula and hausa anyway. the only Yorubas who make noise are the ones from the south and are very tribalistic.

in the north you may not know the difference between tribes. a fula can be speaking yoruba and the next speak hausa or a hausa can act llike a yoruba around yorubas but really be an hausa without his yoruba peers knowing. or a nupe can call himself yoruba hausa or fula

the problem with yorubas those from the south is that they are more tribalistic more than religous. But for the yorubas who are actaually northerners and mixed with hausa and fula thers no problem its the southern yorubas who influence the northern yorubas.

I really don't know how you northerners understant things.Let me try to break it down for you. An indigene meaning from nigeria. Lets be diplomatic and answer my question. Dont worry about those from chad, niger, or so so because the borders will soon be in check along with the immigration. An igbo is the Minister of Interior.

Now can you answer my question:

"And another thing after jonathan fixes the census problem with inflated population results of northern indigenes and proves that we are the more populous in the south, if we in the south all vote for an Igbo christian then what will you northerners do?"
well northerners will continue to come into northern nigeria i dont think that can ever stop. northerners were inflated before in early times but now that there aree millions of people coming from all surrounding countries the north is more populated

jason12345:
okay, but we have to close our borders. its unfair on the igbo. (just my thought) . let go back to the topic
whos fault is that?

thats because the yorubas have ancient cultural ties with fulanis.

the oba in ghana thing. the ewe kingdom was part and parcel of the yoruba kingdom.
theres no difference if yorubas can live in ghana as indignes and vice vera why cant hausas, fulanis, berbers live in nigeria as indignes? theres no difference

I pity you. More than half Northern votes will turn out to be Christian in any truthful election or census. Deserts and Savannahs are not known to host huge populations, except by miracle (such as counting goats and cows).
Only the foolish count drag into politics and this time, the traps are out for the foolish.
pls name those states huh

this just shows that we have no "northern" border!!!
so . . . .
the same with the south the Yorubas have obas in ghana and even have a yoruba-fulani emir who is head over fulanis and hausas

Is it only Jonathan, those from very small tribes, southerners in general or non muslims that you have a problem accepting huh
a little of everything

if he was muslim he would be able to appeal to muslim minorities in the north but hes not. so. . . .  hes unelectable by northern votes

DapoBear:
Lol, they oppose the guy for being Hausa? They are quite arrogant
the same way hausas oppose saraki because hes not mixed with hausa and doesnt speak hausa.

there are many fulanis who dont speak hausa or they might prefer to speak yoruba or nupe or kanuri. saraki doesnt cut it for hausas and sambo doesnt it cut it for fulanis.

chyz:

he can try but theres no such thing as "north indignes" there are northerners whether you are fula from Burkano Faso,  kanuri from chad, berber from mali  or hausa from niger

As for the first paragraph, na lie lie. But im guessing that is what you will to believe so i have no control over your thoughts. I'll leave it like that.

As for the second paragraph. It sounds like you are fine with being slaves to the fulani. I guess its ok to change your names from Abdul-Raheem to Abdul-Fulani. I sure u know what Abdul means. And another thing after jonathan fixes the census problem with inflated population results of northern indigenes and proves that we are the more populous in the south, if we in the south all vote for an Igbo christian then what will you northerners do?
example. imagin you are half igbo and half ijo but the ijo have more of a shot at being president would you have a problem with an ijo president?  most likely not

almost everyone has fulani mother father or grandmother so either way its going to be someone with fualni blood being president.

nobody is trying anything. you cannot secede from nigeria without blood shed or the UN backing you.

anyway, we still love you (igbos) and the country would not be were it is today without the collective effort of igbos and every ethnic group. grin
The Un cannot even protect southern sudan so UN talk is trash.
You see the UN and America begging SUDAN to think of peaceful ways because they know UN soldiers cannot protect southern sudans for ever sooner or leater they will leave and the war will continue.

chyz:
How bout notherners control livestock( cattle, rams, sheep, etc.), Igbos control economy, and yoruba muslim control government? What do you think?
fine wit me and bini muslim too is ok with me and most northerners like Kanuri, igala, nupe, gwari, berom who are also muslims, and etc are fine with yoruba muslims. the only people who will not like it are the hausas-fulanis and the fulanis wont mind if the yoruba muslim is half fulani. as we are talking many fulanis oppose sambo becoming president after jonathan because he is a full hausa and not fulani.

No you are missing the point.
In 1967 you killed us in the north and we ran home and you followed us to the east.
This time we will make sure that there is a permanent war in the north and will fight you there for 100 years if necessary to ensure you never made any move down to the east.
Simple strategy. Yes, we can do it because we are not Yoruba.
You are missing the point I said you cannot ask for biafra and expect northerners not to kill ibos. I wont kill any person but there lots of people who will do it. as for the yoruba comment id rather not discuss them they atleast have their own game plan. Why even mention Yorubahuh Im talking about ibos.

you can stay and fight but to think that you can beat a northerner in the north is foolishness.
alj harem:
what are u saying in igbo grin grin

u are scared of the north grin grin grin

now who is the coward grin grin
maybe they are saying the can beat us in our own house?

Onlytruth:
hahahaha! hehehe! grin grin

So, if anyone told you that Igbos in Kano and Kaduna will simply pack their bags and run back to the east you will believe him?
Dude, you really don't think at all. Or better yet, you have not followed the history of ethnic fighting in northern Nigeria closely.

Next time, I promise you that you will fight to keep your lands. If you are reasonable and beg us, we may accept a payment plan. Else, you will be sent into Niger republic and Chad where you came from.
this is your problem i have already told you that ibos in the north have made their bed and now have to lie in it. ow can u say such a thing I mean its like you want ibos to die. you have not learnt your lesson since 1967 you are foolish enough to down talk a man in his own back yard

I wouldnt even try such thing in the west or east because I wouldnt underestimate what could happen to northerners outside the north. But ibos will continue to think  thaey are big until something happens.

I expect ibos with thier arrogaance and pride to stay in the north and die fighting afterwhich northerner will collect your property. Your are contradticting yourself you cannot want biafra and at the same time expect not to be killed in the north.
