My friend a girl here in the U.S is going to marry this guy she meet on facebook, the guy claim to be a musician but keep asking this girl to help him with as little 10 to 20k naira to publish his album or whatever, the guy said he love this girl with every thing in him, this girl believed him bought her ticket and will be going to see him any moment from now possibly to bring him to the states. my question is do you think this is a good idea my people.?

I'll have to answer this as a NO. I think you can fall in love with the IMAGEor the IDEA that person protrays. After all they can make themselves sound great but be the total opposite.

I remember watching a programme (can't remember what it was called now but it was about 2 plastic surgeons )- this was funny. This girl went in for plastic surgery stating that she had met the love of her life over the Net and was meeting him in 5 weeks. She had crash dieted and was wanting the excess skin removed. So they did it. She then went to meet the 'love of her life' to find that he was an extremely large man who had sent her a photo of him when he was younger who had lied to her about EVERYTHING!!

The moral of the story - i think you fall in love with the idea of that person.
