Baby girl made her grand entry on the 11th of August.

My journey was a very sweet one and I enjoyed every bit of it because I had no MS except for mild heart burn , I ate everything I cooked and didn't have weird cravings.
I was very agile that it got to a point I had to ask myself if I was really pregnant..lol.
Had 3 EDDs 18th (scan), 24th and 26th of August.
Fast forward to 10th of August after I finished cooking, I ate like I've been fasting for one week. Lol.
I started having contractions, it came like waves, I timed it to know if it was false labour or the real thing.
Few minutes later I went to urinate and saw blood, immediately I told my husband that I've seen show by then the contractions became stronger, I changed to a gown and wore a pant and told hubby to bring my bag, as we were about leaving for the hospital my water broke.
I never knew I could speak in perfect tongues until that day. Lol. As I got into the car I didn't know when I removed my pant I thought I was going crazy, I shouted on hubby to drive gently and drive fast at the same time.
We finally got to the hospital at 10:10pm and I was checked lo and behold I was already 5cm dilated. The nurse was surprised and told me I will be checked again in 4hrs time.
The contractions became stronger that I felt like pooing twice the last urge to poo came and I couldn't bear it any longer I ask them to call the nurse, immediately the nurse came I told her I want to poo poo She said oya come let me check you, she checked and and I was fully dilated.
She asked me not to push until I was told to do so but the urge to push became uncontrollable, she gave me a cut and said pushhh!! see your baby head and after two pushes my angel came out at exactly 1:10am 11th of August weighing 3.5kg. Funny thing is immediately she came out the pains just disappeared fiam!!
I return all the glory to God for a successful journey.

My dear e tire person! My dd1 is biscuit that she eats and white rice without stew. I am so tired too! tried many varieties but I end up eating them. If you find what works please mention me.

My princess arrived on 16th August by emergency c section, weighing 4.5kg. Mother and baby are doing fine BS coming later

I didn't use thisninsert. It was nystatin cream I used for the itching because mycoten wasn't working.

My dear it differs in women. I don't think it took more than 20minutes after the clotted blood/show came out that I gave birth. As for the mucus stained blood i started seeing it 3hrs 30mins to delivery. It was same way with my first.

Please head to the hospital if you are seeing any of those.

Induction can be successful and unsuccessful which can lead to Emergency CS. But if you don't mind, then you can go ahead.
At 39weeks, I don't think your doctor would tell you to do such. He/she might suggest membrane sweep.
Most Babies will come when they are ready.
Suggestion- Try to Increase your activities. Dont stay indoors unless you are doing chores.

Can you go to the hospital to get checked? Some women like me don't break water until very far gone in cm. So dont use water breaking as a yardstick to go to the hospital.
If you wipe your vjay after using the bathroom what do you see?

Hii Mamas, I have been having contractions since morning, but no show.. the contraction feels like when your on your period ( when the blood is coming out) that kind of feeling, lol @ my description am a FTM... I will be 39 weeks tomorrow, my EDD is 22/23 August.. I times the contraction and its 5 mins apart but I have not seen any mucus or water breaking.. is it really labour?

I’m that nice aunty that loves to cook and feed everyone but I’m also the annoying aunty that makes everyone wait until I’ve taken my pictures before they can eat.

Look at those hands jumping in the moment I said “pictures are done you can eat now”.

The oxtail and jollof rice were my favorite.
Others preferred the egusi and assorted pepper soup.
Each to their own. That’s why I gave them options.

Dont be worried. Since ICT is negative. My first pregnancy I didn't take it at 28weeks and even after delivery cos baby turned out to be negative too. My second I didn't take it at 28weeks cos I didn't have bleeding issues. I took it 12hours after delivery only.

Hi mommies, me and my husband's rhesus factor are not compatible. I am B- , he is A+. Our doctor only booked me for a vaccine (RhoGAM) injection after delivery. I recently read in several articles online that it is recommended to have an RhoGAM vaccine on week 28 of pregnancy (which I didn't) and another after delivery. Now I am a little worried. Hope my baby and future babies will be fine if I just take the vaccine after deliver.


P.S. I took a Indirect Coombs Test (ICT) aka the Indirect Antiglobulin Test or IAT at 36weeks and it come back "Negative"

How did you know your womb is hot? I hope is not through all those Ijaw women.
