1. Yes it is possible to self sponsor as long as you have enough funds to show for it.
2. You must have funds for your 1st semester tuition(atleast), living expenses ($21,041), health insurance, and travel cost ($2,000). With the current float in Fx, you should be looking at N30m+ as POF for a single person. You also need to show how this funds were gotten. If you are employed, your payslip from the organization you work for must be included.
3. The amount is expected to be more when using a sponsor. It is assumed that a sponsor should be doing better for him to be able to sponsor you. Ofcourse you don’t expect a sponsor to give out all the funds in his account and not have anything left for himself to survive with. So your sponsor should have more funds in their account.
4. Yes POF impacts on your visa outcome. In fact, it’s one of the major reasons for visa refusals.

I hope this helps. Others can also add to this if I missed out on anything.

Thank you.

Thanks for this bro, I appreciate

Hey beautiful people,

Is it possible to be self sponsored to study in Australia? If yes, how much do you need to show as POF (is it same amount with being sponsored by relative or different?)? Does it impact your chances of getting visa? I will appreciate some candid advice from those who were successful or unsuccessful, as the case maybe, when trying to self sponsor.

Thanks.

Hello @ WhyNa and others, thanks for the great work. Please, I need some clarification.

I have been working with an agent to get me visa in order to teach in Vietnam. He recently told me that I can only get visa now and while work permit will be given to me by the employer I will be working with when I reach there.

Does this make sense please?

I am raising this because I saw in your post that you got Visa and work permit before you left Nigeria.

Please, do you think I should go ahead with what this person said or otherwise?

Thanks

Health / How To Prevent Hypertension And Other Cvds by Amoshine(m): 6:25am On Jan 04, 2017
Modern age in which we are today has afforded us various lifestyles. Human ingenuity has given the ability to fly in the sky, change a flat nose to a pointed one, make the deaf hear and the blind see. Also, we eat the kind we want at the time we want it with little or no attention paid to the consequence.

It is highly unfortunate that these successes are accompanied with what are capable of eliminating the entire human race. One of the unfortunate thing is hypertension.

Hypertension, also called high blood pressure, occurs when the pressure as the heart pumps blood around the body is over 140mmHg and the reading when the heart relaxes and refills with blood is over 90mmHg. When this happens, the blood pressure is high.

In US alone, about 75 million people are patients of hypertension. Recent findings have it that diabetes, heart disease back pain and hypertension and falls happen to be the most costly health expenses.

You may ask at this juncture that, what is/are the thing(s) that is/are actually responsible for this chronic disease? Well, the cause is simple, as it has been mentioned earlier, OUR MODERN LIFESTYLE. This include:

• Diet, with most containing salt, sugar, saturated fat, processed fruit juice, canned foods etc
• Obesity, which result from accumulation of fats in the body. You can read about this on our blog post.
• Tobacco Usage, either being smoked by you or around you, it is a major contributor to hypertension
• Alcohol consumption

I will advise you to visit the below link to read more about Hypertension, its causes and how you can prevent and cure it.

IS the graphic training a separate program from the seminar? because I'm interested in that specifically. What is the training like? and can I enrol for that directly?
Yes, but is consequent upon d completion of the seminar programming. It is also open for people who are interested but didn't participate in the seminar.

Good morning to you all Nairalanders. How ur nights?
Have you made your decision whether to attend the seminar or not? Is better you are quick about it to avoid if I had know.
For those of us that we have been hearing branding branding but we don't really know what it means or how to go about making money with it, we have the opportunity now to be tutored fully on the business.
On importation, it is not something new on Nairaland. In fact, we have had many people like ymodulus, importexpert, david8 etc that have taken their precious time to tutor thing thing for free. But I an sure of one thing, some of us still face one or two challenges. So, here is an opportunity for us to have interactive session to expert in the field.
There can be nothing equivalent to seeing your teacher face to face.
Stay glued to this thread, there is a secret I want to expose to all.

Good morning once again everybody.
