If you are within your community you can speak than language but when you go to Jos and 7 people gather where they speak different languages you have to adopt a general one either English, Pidgin or Hausa

In Kogi for instance where we have different ethnicities English Pidgin is used as the language of communication in Lokoja the state capital. An Ebira person wont drop his language for Igala likewise an Okun speaking person or a Bassa man
